I noticed there haven't been any new posts in a while and was wondering where everyone is at.
As for me I'm doing well. Still averaging about 1.5 loss a week. I reached my first 10% on Monday woohoo and still plugging along. I got an eye infection on Tuesday and am having to put drops in them 4x a day. It started in my left and last night travelled to my right.

Hi Dawnyal!
IMO, it's that time of the year, like around the holidays too, where people get busy and priorities shift. That's my case, anyway.
Glad to see you hanging in and getting the job done! Would you like to share some of your thoughts as you go through this jounrney? What's been the easiet part, the hardest, etc.? What's different this time?
It's my intention to start a thread on the next chapter tomorrow. I'm assuming SummerLover is busy winding down the school year, and getting ready for her favorite time of the year - Summer.
Have a great and healthy weekend!

I am starting Key 2. Unfortunately, I have been starting Key 2 for about 2 weeks now but life has been so busy (that's the excuse I'm sticking with anyway) that I haven't really gotten into it. I will do better this week though with my reading.

Since I'm back at work now I have more time in front of the computer and more time to check out the site.
As for the weightloss I've hit the blahs or boredom or something. I just got really fed up yesterday. I didn't want to count anything, weigh anything and wanted to just eat whatever and not mess with exercise or drinking enough water so I did. I lay out on my trampoline (My reward for reaching 275 was tanning and since funds are tight right now I get to do it the old fashioned way in the hot sun for hours at a time). I just kept the thoughts rolling through my mind as to why I'm feeling this now, about 10 weeks into it. The best I can figure is I'm getting real close to the virgin territory (the place in your weight loss where you've never lost that weight before) and I'm getting scared that A) I won't make it over that 268 hump or B) I do make it over it then what. So I decided to give me something to help spice things up I'm fasting today and Sunday--the start and stop of my weeks so to speak. It hasn't really been hard and I'm already starting to feel refreshed and ready to go. I think I just needed something to challenge me and not eating any solid foods today has been it. I planned on doing this yesterday and I'm sticking with it today. Can you tell I haven't been the best at planning out my meals lately?
I know this is something that I have to do for life and I was just feeling sorry for myself since I'm one of the "lucky" one who has to work at what I eat for the rest of my life. I had my pity party yesterday and I'm back and ready for more action today.

Hello fellow "Phillies"!
I'm sorry I've been incognito for so long. We went to Maui (AMAZING AS ALWAYS!) for 10 days in late May/early June and we've been going non-stop since we got home: birthday parties, helping my folks move, etc.
I'm happy to say I only gained 2 pounds while we were away. In the past I would have beaten myself up over that, but this time I decided to be gentle with myself. I practiced atypical restraint with my food and beverage choices and actually found time for intentional exercise while we were there at the hotel's gym and swimming pool, so I'm very proud of that too. :cp:
How are the rest of you doing?! I hope the silence on the board doesn't mean that we are losing people. I said it before, I'm here for the long haul!
What has everyone been up to? How are the keys working for you--or--how are you working the keys?
I last posted on Chapter 8, so now I need to post on Chapter 9, Intentional Exercise. I've been making great strides in this area over the last few months, so I'll try to get my thoughts about this up in the next couple of days.
I have missed you guys! :grouphug:

Maui? I'm so jealous. Glad to hear you had a great time and did relatively well. Good for you for not beating yourself up and getting right back into it.
I haven't picked up the book since I finished reading it and I so need to start going back over the keys again. I'm still plugging away, getting in my intentional exercise. I even bought a season pass to the public pool in the town where I work and I have to go at least 12 more times for it to pay for itself and I'm not one to waste money so you know my butt will be there with a bathing suit on swimming laps during my lunch break.
Eating wise, I'm doing well also. Just learning what foods are working for me and what ones I need to avoid. As my siggy shows at this point I'm down 27 pounds since February and still going strong.
