Ok Ladies,
I was gone like three hours and ya'll posted 100 times.... LOL

Well not that many times.... But close to it!

Have fun at Wal-Mart, at least it might not be too crowded.... but heck it is Wal-Mart.... It is always crowded. And thanks for finding me a WATP dvd set on Ebay last night! You're the best :)

Geri, Geri, Geri,
You are an awesome MOM! :bravo: :cheer: I know sometimes they push us to the limits and sometimes they are only quiet when they are sleeping... But I know you are doing a wonderful job! If you need anything just pm me! :write: And I hope you still have a good weigh in.

Have fun at the awards ceremony. :)

I have never heard "paint the barn" before.... LOL I have heard "putting on war paint". Hope you get to see Dh soon! And even if your videos don't come in this week you should still get in a workout huh :o ;) Have fun and please let us know how the weigh in goes in the morning.

As for me,
I didn't make it to the park... I made a list of things I want done before Andrew's party and I have to get started on them today..... I need to remulch the flower beds... paint the chairs I have to set up... pressure wash the toys outside.... weedeat... All that good stuff....

I better get started!

See ya later :)

Its been crazy here lately. Hope evryone is doing good, can't wait to read the weigh ins. I will go back and catch up later. I did catch the Super Size Me article, the guy has his movie out now about it. Have a great day.

05-21-2004, 02:35 PM
Simply amazing- I am back again. But this is a new thread!!!!!!!!! How will I ever keep up with this. Oh well......I'll skim the old one and give it a shot.
I did get my WW tape in this is sort of muggy here, and I was not too inspired to walk.

Penny- thanks for starting a new thread.
Ricci-hope things slow down a bit for you, sounds like you are up to your eyeballs too.
You know.......I am going to leave this post and see if it works. With my computer these days it is better to see if it will work or not.

05-21-2004, 02:44 PM
THIS IS is murder to get a post thru.
Jackie welcome back, hon! I missed you.
BTW- we are married 22 years tomorrow, and I know this sounds odd but it really does not bug me all that much if Dh does not remember (it would be nice to see if he can do this all by himself or not). Of course I might not feel that way, I just know how his mind works and this kind of stuff is not high on his list.

Better go- who knows if this post will go thru (the last one did not!)
See ya -Ginny

05-21-2004, 02:56 PM
You all Crack me UP!!!!

Cindi - lol lets get commited together ;) my 2 were driving me nuts earlier I had to call hubby to grasp at adult conversation and reality lol he came home for a few so I could at least finish making my phone calls to pay our bills lol.

Spryng - LMAO!!!! I have never heard that expression either lol I thought you were really getting ambitious going out to paint a barn all by yourself with kids strapped to your hip!!

Penny - I forgot what theme you are having for Andrews party, remind me :) Taylor and I were looking through the birthday express catalog and I think she either wants Scooey Goo (thats how she says scooby doo) or Dora I'll probably go with Dora but who knows she may change her mind I told her I wanted her to have either a princess bday or a tea party theme that would be so fun for me but alas she is such a tomboy!

Geri - Man I wish I could get a good breakfast in but I never can lately I've just been having a cup of plain fat free yogurt its quick and easy and not too messy!! Hey I know how you feel lol I was feeling that way with my kids today just my patience was being tried, I suppose it was cuz I really wanted to get the bills done and I couldnt even hear the operators on the phone lol. I don't think kids know the meaning of "give me 10 minutes then I'm all yours" I truely sympathize :) :grouphug:

Ricci - I hope things slow down for you soon so you can have some time to yourself!! How are things going for you?

Ginny - Woo hoo the post worked it worked!! Yayyy good to see a post from you as well!! Will life ever be slow for you? :)

Crystal - Whats up girl? How's it going?

Well I got a 2 mile walk in while my girls did a power nap lol and of course in the middle of my work out ups comes to the door so I had to rewind and get going again lol grrr don't they know to come when I'm done working out?? ;) jk Like I mentioned about the good breakfast, well I'm just eating my yogurt now!! It got so crazy here before and its finally settled down lol. I had to give the girls a big hug and tell them I was sorry for losing patience, they seemed to accept my apology :)

Ok well I better get out of these workout clothes and dressed so I can be ready to shop when hubby gets home :)
Take care

Good Afternoon Ladies

I have been working my tushie off outside and it is starting to look better but I had to come in and take a shower before Andrew woke up from his nap...

So I am all clean again.... LOL

Woman, You never stop! You must be skinny as a beanpole with all the running away you do!!!! Glad to see you posting! ;)

I didn't know that guy had a movie coming out. Whats the name of it???

I am glad hubby was so nice and came hope to help you for a few minutes! Did you get all your bills paid? When is Taylor's bday? Is it August you said???

Andrew is having a theme called the "First Birthday Star" All the plates, napkins and such are all in the shape of a star and it says 1st Birthday Star. It is very cute! :) I have went out and bought the star shaped cake pan, the star shaped serving trays, confetti and such. The whole theme is very bright, primary.

I hope you all have a great afternoon! I am doing well and just going to hang around the house all day.

05-21-2004, 03:55 PM
Being it is 2:00 pm and all the kids are laying down, I am gonna go to the chatroom if anyone wants to come

05-21-2004, 03:58 PM
I'm back from my Friday routine. I have swayed off plan today, which is okay actually. I have learned that I actually do better the other six days if at least one day I enjoy myself. And Friday's I don't cook dinner and it's always cereal day and we're never home for lunch, so it fits my Friday's well.
I actually scanned through all the posts, but good gosh there were a ton. I'm not getting too personal this time. I have to get my house in order, seeing as though I left here around 8 this morning.

Cindi, WTG girl. You are doing great. Hope the banquet thingy goes good.

Spryng, hope you get to see dh soon. Have a good weekend if we don't hear from you.

Geri, hope you're doing okay now.

Michelle, how's it going?

Well, I've got to wrap some birthday presents. Tomorrow my sister is having a b-day party for let's see...Jonathan, the oldest, will be 11 on Sunday and Leslie will be 6 yo, on June 1st. So that's where I'll be tomorrow. I'll check in later. Nice to read all your posts. Hope the day continues to bring you all wellness.

05-21-2004, 04:47 PM
Ya'll are busy, busy, busy! That's awesome. I'll begin my replies and may have to sign off, but will complete them later. I'm still in Savannah, but Liam's taking a nap.

Spryng - keep us informed on the recipies you use from the book. I'll check out her website when I return home. Those Aisan burritos sound yummy and like something DH would love. Oh, and this hotel is absolutely stunning. I'm thinking I should accompany DH on business more often - they stay in really nice hotels

Micheele - your breakfast burrito sounds good. I had egg whites for breakfast (scrambled) here at the hotel. Good job keeping up with the walking - you're doing really well with that!

Jessi - I can only imagine - Liam tries to move everywhere, so I'm sure in no time he'll be just like Cole and unable to leave for even a second

Ginny - Happy anniversary! Do you really think DH has forgotten?? That would make me upset.

Hi, Jackie!

Crystal - 15 lbs??? Hooray!!!!

Crystal (and Spryng) - tell me about it! I absolutely LOVE corn bread! :D There used to be a really good fat-free mix I used to make, but it's hard to find now.

Melinda - Happy almost Birthday!!! Sorry weaning is sometimes difficult - hopefully it gets easier.

Penny - Hi! Hope you enjoy the yardwork - do you like gardening? I hate yardwork, but I know lots of people love it. The party sounds adorable.

Misty - sounds like your doing very well and staying on track. Good for you!

Crystal, etc. School of Rock - I can't wait to see this - DH and I are planning to rent it soon.

Geri - I've been getting more frustrated with Liam and others lately as well, but I keep blaming it on PMS, but TOM still hasn't arrived, though seems like it should have. Hugs to you. Glad TOny and Will are doing well :)

Ricci - Hi! Good to see your post :)

I'm right OP, and haven't even used any flexpoints! I'm going to try and not use them, but I know I may need to every once in a while. I'm interested to get ya'lls opinion on something. I'm seriously considerieng getting a food scale. I know WW has all those handy ways to know a portion like the dice, casette tape, etc. but I have a really hard time with knowing a portion size by oz. So, I thought if I was using a scale and started seeing how much an oz. is, etc. I would then have it in my head better for when we go out.

I'm still not sure what I want to do for my weight loss reward this week. Didn't see anything I liked in the stores here, though did get some adorable stuff for Liam and some of his baby friends back home. Do any of you do anything special? I've thought about a charm bracelet where I add a charm for each week, or every 5lbs, but I'm just not sure.

05-21-2004, 06:08 PM
It sounds like you are doing wonderful :)
It is so great that you haven't even used your flex points. But use em if you need em ;) If not I think your weight loss gets even better.

On the food scale thing... I have one. I bought it for like 5 bucks maybe. Me and hubby use it all the time and I love it. I know how you feel about sometimes you can tell how much and then other times you can't!
Hope you are having a great wonderful time! It sounds like it!

As far as the reward thing,
I used to go to TOPS and they gave out ribbons and awards for pounds gone, but for me...
I think I am holding out to the end because I want a new wardrobe but I think it is a great idea about the charm bracelet.

I just bought one pair of size 10 shorts off ebay for my motivation. I got them in today and they got on, zipped and everything but they are just tight and tight in the legs.... so I am hoping the watp's dvds I bought off ebay will help that situation out... LOL

Have a great evening! I think I am gonna splurge tonight at our weekly pizza buffet outing.

You ladies are the best! Keep doing great! See ya lighter!

05-21-2004, 06:11 PM

I just wanted to let you all know it reached 91 here in Louisiana today!

Summer is definitely in full swing!

05-21-2004, 06:13 PM
Well, lets see if this works again......with this computer who knows......

Leigh- congrats for being OP with out using any flex points!!!!! What are you doing in Savannah?

Crystal- there are actually some WW'ers who recommend one off day- nothing too off but one day to not be so vigilant. Sounds like you are back on track today- good for you. Hope you got your house in order.

Penny- I wish I was as skinny as a bean pole.....but I am awfully busy. What did you do that had you working so hard?????? Hope someone else was there to chat.

Michele- good for you getting the 2 miler in!!!! SOunds like you are using WATP! Don't you just love Leslie?

Well, all the monsters are home.......pfew! 23 more days of school.......I kind of blew it on some tortillas today, so a salad for dinner it will be for me. Should be ok in points though for the day.
Guess I'd better get going on dinner. Have a great nite!

05-21-2004, 06:43 PM

The kids are already out here.....
I think if you have your salad tonight, you will do just fine!
Andrew turns one in three weeks and we are having an outside swimming party.......
So I have been cleaning the property line.... we have two acres out here in the country.
The yard is all pretty but I have some trees and stuff that we cut down and left all the branches and stuff laying there.... so we have weeds, and such growing all over the branches....
And I am gonna remulch my flower beds this weekend.

Hope you have a wonderful evening!

05-21-2004, 06:55 PM
I am getting a haircut on Tuesday at an upscale salon as my reward. I don't do it often enough.

I also considered a new workout video, some new earrings...I am also holding out on the clothing until I am at a more comfortable place with my weight and size.

Going to exercise now, in my house with no A/C to speak of.

Great to see how wonderful we are all doing!! Be back later!

BTW, Logan got awards for the Math Olympics and for being the most helpful in class. That's my boy...well, one of them anyway! ;)

05-21-2004, 09:22 PM
Hi everyone,

My day got better! After Dh got up at 1:00 I disappeared for a couple of hours...went to Mom's new apartment and helped her out some!

Ok, gotta go upstairs with the boys. I'll get personal later.

05-21-2004, 09:59 PM
I am trying my luck with this dumb computer again......Ds left it on and at least for now, it is cooperating. You will hear my screams if I am not successful.

Geri- glad your day far is Dm's new apartment?

Cindi- congrats on the upcoming hair......that is my "out"- I get my hair done, even if it kills me. Are you planning on a dramatic change?

Penny- ah,yard work....a never ending chore in my book.....always a new weed to be pulled. But a good workout to boot!!!! And you can keep your 91 degrees.....although I hear I might be in for that on Sunday here in NY. Anyone for some cool October weather???????? Do you like the heat.

Well....Dh came home in one pickle of a mood......I will be shocked silly if he remembers tomorrow at all.....seems much more concerned with Dd's b day (turns 18 on Tues) and her graduation..... Like I said this is no surprise to me at all, and I think this happened last year too. It bugs me a wee bit, but there is not a whole lot I can do about it. Just the way things are here.

Got my planters done this evening- and maybe tomorrow the little bit in front of the porch. I am planning a nice walk in the am, before the heat sets in.
Guess I have babbled enough for today.
Take care!

05-21-2004, 10:07 PM
Thought I'd pop in. Sorda hanging out, the kids are all in bed and Dh went fishing. Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.
Ginny~ good to see you back. Happy Anny :) Hope it turns out good for you.
Geri~ glad you are feeling better and that your Dh is helping. It's rough not having time to yourself.
Spryng~ I'm sure you are enjoying time with Dh. Hope he was a big loser too.

tom is visiting so i might put off my WI for awhile. I didn't get to walk tonight, just feeling really cramped, bloated and tired. All the usual fun stuff.
eating hasn't been to well today. kinda weird. cheese popped corn, peanutbutter, cheese, BBQ beans. no good meals. I ran all over today with no direction and tom always gives me weird cravings.
ah well hope you all are having a great weekend!!!

05-21-2004, 10:15 PM
Hi all! Just a quick post from me. I just got home and DH is not far behind me (semi's can be sooo slow so I left him in my dust!! LOL)
But it looks like you all have been busy today! Ginny so glad to see so many posts from you! Have you tried not turning the computer off at all... computers live longer if you keep them on, just turn the monitor off you know. I can't remember the last time ours were off.
And Leigh, a food scale is a great investment. I use it for EVERYTHING!! They are really cheap at walmart.
Well we had applebees for lunch today and tried the new ww menu. It was really good, even got the cheesecake for dessert and was still under pts. DH liked it too.
OK, I need to get a few things done in my room. We bought an a/c for our room today but since the windows don't open and there is no hole in the wall DH wants to try something else so I have to clear a spot for it. So I will talk to you all probably tomorrow. Have a great night! :)

05-21-2004, 10:43 PM
I'm back :D

My favorite time of night...everyone's in bed :dizzy: :p ;)

Spryng, why don't the windows open? Glad you enjoyed Applebees! Since you don't exercise the night before WI does that mean you won't be EXERCISING tonight?? :o :lol3: Yep, I crack myself know I'm not myself the last couple of days

Misty, sorry TOMs giving you trouble...I think that is what most of my problem was this week. It usually only bothers me before, not during but hormones don't usually care when they flare up!

Ginny! Wow, 22 years! That's great. We just hit 4 on the 13th. We just exchange's so close to the kids bdays that we don't bother. Besides, if we really want something, we buy it (if we can afford it that is). Hope you have a happy! Happy bday to dd next week! Oh, it was hot and humid here yesterday and today we had jackets on. When the 11 am news came on it was only 43! I really prefer 70 and dry myself :D If we get any more rain we're going to float away. It really has been rediculous. Mom now lives less than 1 mile away :cp: Never thought I would be happy about that when I was younger :p Funny how things change as we age and become Mom's ourselves!

Cindi, hooray for Logan! How did the workout go? Do you at least have a basement? I can't remember where you live! I would sweat buckets if I had to workout upstairs on a hot day...I already do down in our nice cool basement. You're doing awsome lady! Keep up the good work.

Penny, I love yard work! Wish I could get out and do more! By the time it stops raining (hopefully by Monday) I'll have to mow and it'll probably be up to our knees by then :( . The veggies are fighting with the weeds in the garden but it's been way to muddy to get in there and start weeding. Planting flowers is just a pipedream for now! They'll float down the street! Actually I do have some planted but many more to go. I think I'm going to try seeds next year if I can keep the boys out of them! I saw a mini greenhouse at a store here for around $20. We'll see if that ever happens. I have all my pots to plant yet and some in the front yard.

Leigh, glad you're enjoying Savannah.
Ricci- any word on your brother yet?
Crystal, don't worry about 1 day out of 6.

Hi to everyone else out there!!

I got on the scale this evening and it seems I racked up quite a bit of damage from that stress eating. :ink: :moo:  :yikes: I have until Monday night to get it off! Hopefully I can get back to my WI of last week. :o These things happen (to me anyway) so I'll just have to get over it. It really helped tremendously to get out for a couple of hours. I told Dh I could use a whole day but I would take the 2 hours I got :D . Tony's been so whiny lately. Could be cutting those eye I'm trying to ween him off of the bottle and just onto the sippy cup so that could be part of it. We didn't use a bottle at all today so I know in a day or so he'll be over that! Got outside inbetween raindrops to take the boys out for a wagon ride and they played in the backyard a bit. Surprisingly, Will didn't get covered in mud or wet sand. He stayed pretty clean.

Well, I just want to thank you all for listening again earlier. I just hate to go on and on when I'm feeling like a bad Mommy! It is great to be able to stay home with the boys but as you all know can be very overwhelming at times. Just don't know how you do it with more than 2!!!! I am also used to Dh working days and being home nights so if I need to do something I can. He should be back to normal next week :crossed:

OK, gotta go straighten up! TTFN!

05-22-2004, 01:32 AM
First of all, CONGRATS TO LOGAN! That is wonderful! You must be a proud mama! Working out with no a/c ... you might burn more caloires sweating them out ;) And please let us know how the haircut turns out! Are you going to get something different??

Did going to your moms give you a little mommy time?? I know we all get overwhelmed with the kids sometimes! My hubby usually works from like 6 am to 7 or 8 pm so I usually have the kids by myself all the time. He is working tomorrow too... Like always! And just think HE OWNS his own business!!!
I know you can get back to a turtle by Monday. Have you been exercising everyday like you were???

Hope you tomorrow will be a better day for you! We all get overwhelmed at times when TOM hits! Just get right back on plan! You can do this!

I always think to myself.. The longer I am off plan, the longer it is going to take me to get to goal!

If you can't put the a/c draining outside... then what are you going to be able to do? Cause I know those window units sweat huh? I saw the Applebee's menu think in a parents book. That is pretty neato! :) And I also saw that Ryan's Steakhouse has red spoons now that indicate low carb items. Enjoy your dh. And let us know how you and hubby do tomorrow!

Happy Early Anniversary! We love you! ;)

As for me.,... I had my cheat night tonight and I am going to get off here and get in a good workout to help balance it out.

I will be back in the morning! Have a great night!

05-22-2004, 09:59 AM
:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Good morning, well morning at least. I did NOT have a good night. Andrew could not breathe and didn't sleep well at all. In fact we both may have gotten a couple of hours in total. And I have to drive to Commerce, almost an hour away to go to birthday parties. I get so sleepy when I drive usually. Although I've got a great Bon Jovi cd from the 80's that I like to blast the radio to and that keeps me awake.

Ginny, wow 22 years, that's awesome. I sure hope dh remembers. I understand though, this year will be 9 for me and it's not that dh doesn't remember, it's just another day to him and not to be maken a big deal of.

Leigh, wow, OP while away, I think that is great. Your rewards while losing sound good. I've made it a size smaller just about and my prize is some new clothes, of course I have to have them anyway. But that comes about every 15 to 20 lbs.

Penny, pizza buffet sounds good. I actually had a salad and a few slices of pizza yesterday too. I've realized Fridays' are my off plan days too. Size 10, WTG. I can't wait til the day........

Cindi, this is so ironic about your a/c. My sister which is pregnant with #8, her a/c is out too. I thought what's the deal with all these kids and no a/c. Sounds like a great reward.

Spryng, so glad dh made it in. I hope y'all enjoy your weekend.

Geri, sorry to hear about your gain. Believe me it happens to ALL of us. And you can do it. You can get rid of it by Monday.

Okay, Andrew is about to ruin my post and he has a dirty diaper and he's cranky and the kids are hungry. I've got to get off. I'll check in later. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

05-22-2004, 10:01 AM
Hey girls good morning!!

Well I had to call the cops again on the neighbors! They woke us up at 5:45 am some girl goin absolutely nuts at her boyfriend I'm assuming every other word out of her mouth was the F word and thats what Taylor woke up hearing today, so I called the cops and they gave them another citation. I told them we don't care if they party as long as we don't have to hear it, the worst part is we sleep with a high power fan on all the time cuz hubby likes the white noise it produces so for us to be able to hear them it would take a lot. Ok I'm done ranting.

So I woke up sick as a dog too my throat is sooo sore and I can kind of feel it in my ears but not too badly, Hopefully it will go away fast. Woohoo weigh in is tomorrow and mine should be ok unless something horrible happens ;)

There were so many posts since I posted last I just don't have time to get personal, the girls are up and crabby lol. I hope you all have a great morning!!
I'll post later when hubby gets home and I get to lay in bed! lol

05-22-2004, 10:46 AM
Good Morning Ladies,

I am so sorry you had a terrible night. Does Andrew go to the ENT for the breathing? All of my kids have had sleep apnea. The older two have had tonsils and adnoids removed. I have to make Andrew an appt. soon b/c the ped. said his are just as bad. Hope you don't have too terrible of a day with the long drive. :)

I knew something must have happened for you to post so early in the morning. Did the neighbors get mad at you again this morning. Do they have a thing that if they get so many citations something happens or do they just get a fine every time??? You better not be getting sick. grrrr.... Hope it passes soon!

As for me,
I didn't get in my workout last night.. But I did get it in this morning and actually all 45 minutes of it! YAH! :) I haven't exercised in a while and it felt great!

I just got a phone call from one of Hunter's friends from school and we are going to meet them at the park!

Have a great day!

05-22-2004, 11:02 AM
Penny, maybe I'm naive or something, but what's ENT? But Andrew doesn't do anything for the breathing. We have a nebulizer machine, but we usually just give him treatments if he's been coughing. I'm not sure if it would do anything for the nasal congestion or not. He'll be going in for his 18 mo. check in a week or so and I'm gonna talk to the doc. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do for him or give him just at night so he'll sleep. I just don't know. And I know the doc will say to limit him going outside, but you know how hard that is for an 18 month old boy to not be able to go outside when his sisters are. It's almost impossible. I really don't know if that would help. He was outside last night for a bit and the night air changes and becomes more humid and that may have caused it last night. We're not usually outside at night but we went to visit some friends and was just enjoying the outdoors while all the kids played. I just don't really know what his problem is or if there is really anything that can be done, you would think there would be, but lots of times for these sort of problems there's just not.
I didn't mean to go on and on like that. Thanks for your concern and I hope you have fun at the park.

05-22-2004, 11:02 AM
Good morning all!!!

Ok, just a quick post from me but I promised to let everyone know about mine and my DHs WI's. So you ready???? OK, Like I said I felt bloated and the scale reflected that, I was up a lb at 130 today. But I don't really mind. I know I ate well all week so it must be the heat. OK.... now for DH's.... you ready for this?

He started at 306 two weeks ago. He didn't do very well OP the first week but really got into it the second week and today's WI proved it. He was 192.5... A 13.5 lb loss!!!!!! I knew it would be big. I am so proud of him!!!! And I think he was shocked and proud himself. He told me yesterday he didn't think he would lose very well and I knew otherwise. His body was ready to give some of that up.
So anyway, there is the official wi's.

Today we have to figure out how to get the a/c in the wall or buy a whole new window that opens. Our window doesn't open because it is just a solid plate glass window. Don't know why the previous owners did that. Our room used to be a garage though so maybe that was why. Just a cheap way to put a window in. But anyway... that is what we are going to try and do today without it costing a fortune.
So I need to get off here... TTYL!

05-22-2004, 11:20 AM
Crystal - an ENT is an ear nose and throat doctor. Taylor will have to see one for her snoring and she has the absolute biggest tonsils I have ever seen in a child her age!! lol Hope your little one is ok!

Hey penny!!! Are you excited for weigh in tomorrow? I bet you'll be in the 150's!! crossing my fingers.

Spryng - Tell your hubby I said WAY TO GO!!!!! He is doing WONDERFUL!! So are you girly, I'm glad you arent taking the 1 lb to heart I bet it is the heat!! Send some of that heat our way we are FREEZING!!!! I think i got sick because hubby had the a/c on last night and it was blowing right on me grrrr I turned it off when he fell asleep! lol
I hope you enjoy your weekend! We'll Miss you :grouphug:

05-22-2004, 11:21 AM
Spryng, tell your dh that we here at 3FC are very proud of him. Of course, I'm assuming the start weight was 206 instead of 306, LOL. My eyes bulged until I figured it out. Anyway, good luck with the a/c and again, we are proud of you both. You may not be losing but you sure are mainting WELL!!!

Ohhh penny I'm not sure if there is a citation "limit" but I'm sure they are pretty ticked off at me lol. I even yelled out the front door to them this morning thanking them for waking the whole neighborhood up then I called the police, I'm sure I'll end up going to court against them, I went to court against our old neighbors who would play their stereo so loud that my cupboard doors would bounce to the bass of the music. They called me a liar in court and they called the police officer who testified against them a liar lol. Monday for sure I'm finding out who owns that house I'm at my wits end!

Tell me how your day goes girly, I'll check in later! I'm not exercising today I don't feel well and I"m tired to boot. Good for you on the exercise though!! Im proud!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Just a quick hello as I just finished my 4 mi walk and I've been down here about an hour. Wish I could stay all day it's so nice and quiet ;). I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. We're going to build our ark today (this rain just won't quit)...floods to the south of far so good here...a nice dry basement :). We've only been here about 1.5 years so it's the 1st real test.
OK have to go. Yeah to Dh Spryng (292.5 right?). Michelle hope you're feeling better soon...your neighbors SUCK :(.

Good Afternoon Ladies!!!!

I hope you find out something with Andrew about not sleeping at night. I know when they have problems with their tonsils, it prevents them from sleeping through the night!

I sure hope you feel better soon! And get rid of those neighbors! Grrrr..... It makes me angry and I don't even live there. And thanks for the great remark but I definetly won't be in the 150s this week. I have had great losses the last two weeks and I think it will slow down now. I am hoping for 1 to 1.5 pounds a week. The closer I get to goal the harder it will be to lose it.

Congrats on getting in the four mile walk. How's the eating? Are you back on plan? You are doing so awesome!

Congrats on keeping your weight maintained.... You know that was not a true pound gain and you are still doing great! I know you want to be in the 120s but you will get there. Hope you tape comes in soon! :) A big congrats to DH :cheer: I bet he was excited!!!!! YAH FOR HIM!

As for me, I am still down but tomorrow is the true weigh in. The kids had a blast at the park! And Hunter was so glad to see his friends from school again!
I am doing great on plan

I will check in later :) Have a great day!!!!

:) :) :) :) :)

We're back in Atlanta now. We had a nice time in Savannah - for some reason, I really needed to get away, and I love Savannah.

Penny - how awesome that you fit into those 10 shorts :bravo: I can't wait until I can fit into a ten - that may be once I'm at my goal weigt, I'm not sure. As for summer, it was soooo hot in Savannah - like Florida-hot. I prefer hot to cold, though. Great job with the exercise - keep it up :)

Ginny - Hi! I ended up using a few flex points at lunch because I got a grilled chicken sandwhich and didn't realize it came with a thousand island type sauce. It was on our way back from Savannah so it was drive through and we were already on the highway. Glad your staying within your points :)

Cindi - I know what you mean about finding time for a haircut - it's quite difficult. Congrats on Logan's awards! Good for him.

Ginny - sorry that DH is in a bad mood :( I hope he remembers tomorrow . . . if he doesn't do you remind him?

Misty - Trust us, I'm sure we all understand the weirdness of TOM - it's throws me off a lot too. So, be gentle with yourself and just return OP when it passes :)

Spryng - Hooray to DH on his awesome loss!! :cheer: good luck with the a/c - let us know how it goes. My mother got something from the WW items at Applebees and loved it - I think she got the Talapia (fish) one.

Geri - glad you got a bit of a break. Don't be too hard on yourself for the stress eating. It happens to everyone.

Crystal - sorry you and Andrew had a tought time last night. Hope tonight is better for you!

Michelle- grrrr on the neighbors! That's awful!! Can't wait to hear the results of your WI tomorrow :D

Well, it's Sushi for dinner tonight - that's nice and low in points and I love it! I'm still thinking about the reward thing, but I've enjoyed reading what each of you does to celebrate. 'm wondering if I want to wait until the end and then get a very special reward - I'm not sure what would motivate me more

05-22-2004, 04:15 PM
Ok Leigh,

I have never tried sushi,,,, and don't think I ever will....
But i hope you enjoy it!
And do what you think will motivate you more with your weight loss!
You are at 169, if you don't mind me asking.. what size are you in?
We are almost the same weight.

05-22-2004, 04:43 PM
I'm in a 14 - but I carry a lot of weight in my hips, so pants sizes are always a bit larger for me. I'm 5" 6 and a half inches - how tall are you?

05-22-2004, 05:45 PM
There's something I forgot to tell you all. While we were at the ritzy hotel/resort, I kept seeing rail-thin women with babies - one was even younger than Liam. Well, I promptly convinced myself they were all nannies  :D

Hi all. Back from the nephew and neice birthday parties. I'm fixing to start grilling out. Chicken and steak. I like choices. I did have 2 cupcakes and one of those individual ice cream things. But I planned for it.
Michelle, I sure hope you're felling better today.

Penny, thx for the advice for Andrew, I hope I figure something out with him too.

Leigh, I think they were nannies too. LOL!!! Doesn't it digust you?!? I hope you enjoyed your trip to Savannah. I love new clothes so that usually motivates me. I think that's my rewards, just new clothes everytime I go down a size. I finally made it to the regular sized clothes, 16, instead of 16/18W. There's always better choices there.

Okay, I'll check back later, gonna go start the grill.

05-22-2004, 09:11 PM
Crystal - New clothes are a good reward. Do you find you go down a size with every ten pounds, or is it more like 15 lbs?

I'm having a smart ones ice cream cone right now :) Only two points for all the yummyness! Hope you enjoyed the grilled food.

I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured last night. The pain was worse than childbirth, but took some meds and I am all right this evening. I will catch up with everyone tomorrow.

05-23-2004, 12:17 AM
OMG! Are you ok??? Please fill us in on what is going on! I will keep you in my prayers tonight and please please let us know how everything is going. Did you know you had the cyst?

Glad you are doing ok after the party. And I am glad that you didn't go over what you had planned for! Congrats to you. Hope you have a good weigh in. And congrats on the size change.

I hear you on the nanny thing! I am in a true 12 right now. I did fit in the 10's but I think another ten pounds or so they will fit good. I also carry alot of weigh around my hips. Btw, I am 5'4". I am glad you are liking ww!!! You are doing awesome!

Enjoy dh! Post with us soon :)

How are you doing on plan lady??? Let us know!

Ginny, Ricci, Cindi, Jessi, Jackie, Michelle, Misty, Lisa, Sarah, Julie.....
