Hi Everyone.

I'm doing great! Today my husband and I started eating right TOGETHER today, so we are doing great. He likes only raw veggies, so we are eating a lot of salads. Anyway, I feel really good because of all the vegetables and other good stuff I've eaten. It is really amazing how good you feel when you are eating right. I feel so energized. I also have exercised today. I feel good.

Crystal-Rock on with the exercise!!! Good job.

Melinda-I love eating a lot of fresh fruit and am also excited about Summer coming so I can have better fruits and veggies.

Geri-I'm glad you had a good time!

Penny-Hi! I got my butt in gear and posted LOL...Hope you are doing great!!

Welcome DeAnna....I'm Jessi, Mommy to Cole (9 months).

Spryng-I bet that your little Tanner is so cute in his pool!

Michele- Extreme Makeover, Home Edition is a lot of fun...wouldn't that just be awesome to have that! I'm waiting for the show when they makeover you and your house...

Misty Michele-I don't think I've met you yet, I'm Jessi, I'm working on losing about 25-30 lbs. I had been doing WW, which was great, but now I'm just making good food choices, if I don't see the scale go down though I'll be back to counting points.

Jackie-Good to meet you too!

Leigh-I hope your WW stuff comes soon...I'm sure you are antsy. My baby is really, really pale too, but that isn't too big of a surprise because my DH is too. Very cute picture of your baby!!

Ricci-I have lots of family in Missouri, what town do you live in?

Cindi-So sorry about your weekend! I'm sorry that your husband is being such a pill. It can be very frustrating when someone close to us, especially someone we live with, is being mean and unfair. It can bring everything else in your life down.

My WW kit arrived this afternoon, so I was able to calculate what I ate today, plus my 3 activity points. My target points are 22 each day. So far (including activity points) I still have about 7 to use, and that's after dinner! Amazing, I know. I walked 4 miles today, though, so I definitely earned it.

Spryng - I love getting lots of sleep! I'm doing well on WW so far, though when I add in activity points I somehow feel like I'm cheating  I know - strange! Thanks for the Liam compliments . . . guess I'll have to post my pic sometime soon :)

Ricci - Oh no! I hope they find your brother! I'm thinking of you and your family :(

Michelle! Great news on the 1 lb loss and the loss in inches :D Hope you had a good day with all the walking. Thanks for the Liam compliment.

Crystal - thank you! Liam is 6 and 1/2 months now. I can't believe it. I think you should stick to whatever plan works best for you - you're doing an excellent job!

Cindi - sorry your weekend was stressful . . . perhaps your week will be better!

Well, I'm off to chane a dirty diaper . . . fun!

Oops - we posted at the same time, Jessi :) I'm glad you're doing so well with the diet! Thanks for the compliments about Liam. I think I told you already, but my downstairs neighbor, who I walk with, has a son named Cole - he's 6 and 1/2 months, Like Liam.

Leigh - Glad your WW stuff is in! You are off to a great start. Liam is precious.I need to get some new pictures of JW out.

Ricci - Sorry about your brother. I am sure everything will work out. He probably just has to get it out of his system. Congrats on being so close to goal.

Michelle - Can't wait for my bust to go down. I want to be able to buy a bra from Victoria Secret again.

Spryng - You think dh would enjoy the motivational books on tape when on the road. I have seen them at the libraries and Cracker Barrel has them where you can rent them and return them at other locations.

Cindi - I hope the quarter passing does not cause any pain. My bf thinks her cat swallow her wedding band, but it has been and week and nothing.

Penny - I missed JW so much at work today. I think it is the weaning. I don't think I am ready, but he is. Did you supplement with formula the other feedings or do they get enough from solids. I have been giving him 2 bottles during the day and 2 nursing, but he is spitting up so maybe to much. I have not been able to find a lot of info on weaning. I am going to call the doc tomorrow for so guidance.

Geri - How is your garden? I need to go to the nursery and find out what to grow in direct sunlight in the front yard.

No workout for me today. Always a long day with working. I having Circle at my house tomorrow, so I will be in and out. I am doing a Taco Night. I have to figure out the best way to present it. Probably buffet style, everyone will want something different.

Sure, I just sign on and Dh wants me to go out on the deck with him now that the boys are asleep!

I'll post a couple of quick pictures and have to say goodbye again!
Hello to the newbies..I have 2 boys, Will-3 and Tony-1...
Ricci...arrrgh! I have to go read the last thread but I'll wish you well now :(

The last one's not birthday related, but it was nice to see the boys working well together rather than butting heads

I promise to get personal again soon! It seems like so long now. I really am wishing all of you well :D . It was 77 and humid here today...so we were outside all day.

WI...I stayed the same (YEAH!) Between the cupcakes, cake and TOM...I'm so happy not to have gained.

OK, gotta run! I feel like Ginny...so busy lately. I'll catch you later!!

well, good evening everyone.

Melinda, sorry your working days are so crazy. Hope it slows down for you.

Jessi, so proud of you. That's fantastic for dh to do it with you. I have the dh that tries to GAIN weight. So does his mom, she thinks she's too skinny and she kind of is, but let me tell you, it's just as hard for someone to gain as it is to lose. Keep up the good work.

Well, I ate a little too much at dinner. Actually it was the garlic bread that I couldn't stop with. I still have less than 1800 for the whole day but more than 1500. I also got in 9 glasses of water today. I exercised for about 30 minutes, but that was walking, stair stepping and some weights for the upper body. I was sweating to the point that sweat was dripping in my eyes. It felt good though. I'm gonna try to keep that routine and add alittle timewise everday at least 5 days a week. Sometimes the weekends are tough. But I feel great.

My FIL, which we live right beside, although we go days without seeing them, brought me a package today of mine from his porch and told me he could tell I've lost weight. He said, you've lost alot of weight and I said not alot, about 11 and he said, that's alot and I can tell. So that was great to hear.

Anyway, I hope the day and evening finds you all well. I'll check in in the am. I'm getting ready for a bath. Good Night.

Hello girls

Sorry i have not posted in a few days. The weather over the weekend here was beautiful so I spent alot of time outside and I think I actually got a little starter tan. Tonight for dinner we had leftover lasanga from yesterday. I just love italian. It was so good. It almost tasted better today than yesterday. I know I overate but I didn't eat much lunch so I think I evened it out that way. Is that how weight watchers works?

Geri little ones grow so fast, don't they? It seems like yesterday my little one was 1 and now he is going to be five :(.

Spyrng how did you supper turn out? My little one loves black beans. She will eat a bowl full when I make tacos. And I just love cornbread, I have not had it in such a long time.

Ricci, prayers and I hope your brother is safe and returns home soon. I can only imagine how your mom must feel. I hope things get better. I also have a brother who is going to be seventeen this summer.

Jessi glad you are feeling good and got some healthy eating and excercising in. Great job!

I have a question for ALL of you. You don't have to respond if you don't want to but how often do you let you kids sleep at grandma and grandpa's house? My mom wants mine but to be honest my four year old is really attatched to us and his routine. I know it would be good for him. But I wanted to know how often your kids have sleepovers? Thanks girls....Julie

Crystal, You are doing great and 11 pounds is alot!! Don't discount all your hard work.

Jessi, I am glad to see you are doing so well! Keep it up! Isn't it great to be in control?

Julie Good to see ya! My kids never sleep over anywhere. No grandparents ever ask for them. Suits me fine, though.

I forgot to tell you all that I got in to a size smaller jeans this weekend. They are stretch jeans, but I bought them a while back for motivation. No trouble getting them on at all

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

My garlic chicken was a smash hit here! I feel stuffed though and I don't like it. Think I will have some water and see if that helps.

Kids are not in bed and a bit too rowdy. It's the last week of school, yay. I don't know how happy I am about that, LOL!

My throat is hurting and that is not a good thing. I just started feeling better from last week and do not need this again!!!

I have some cleaning to do before bed(and some kids to beat as well ;) )

So I may be back, but don't wait up!!

Love to all!!

Good evening all!

Cindi congrats on getting into the smaller sized jeans!!! May I ask what size they are? That must feel so good. :) Hope you got your cleaning done.
Julie, my dinner came out ok. Not something I'll want again but the corn bread was delicious! The kids filled up on that since they didn't like the chili. But it's food and I ate it, lol. And I don't let my kids sleep at their grandparents house at all. But they do stay the night at DH's cousin's house. They really like it over there. But it's only once in a great while. The last time they went was for my anniversary so DH and I could get away for a night. But I have personal issues with my in-laws (their grandparents) so they will never stay the night over there.
Crystal, your workout sounded great! And how nice your FIL noticed your weightloss! When my cousin came over the other day I got the same response. She hadn't seen me since Tanner came home from the hospital, so I was still VERY heavy so she was shocked to walk in and see the new me!!! She said she may join WW too if it gives everyone the results I got, LOL. She made me feel really good. So enjoy those compliments!! You deserve them.
Geri your boys are so cute. And that deck is going to look fantastic!!! I didn't realize it was going to be so big! Your DH is something else. Great job so far. You'll have to post pics when it gets done. :)
Melinda, hope your weaning gets better. Are you bf at all anymore? And your buffet style taco night sounds great! I LOVE tacos. in fact I may be doing soft tacos for dinner tomorrow night too, lol.
Leigh, so glad your kit came today!!! How was your first day OP? And are you talking about using activity points or flexpoints? Alot of people feel guilty about using their flexpoints at first. But believe me, you can eat them all and still lose weight just fine. And I look at it like this... if you eat your target points everyday and your flexpoints every week then by the time you hit your goal weight you'll be able to maintain that weight at a much higher amount of pts then you would if you only ate your target pts. So it will pay off in the long run. I eat my flex right after I weigh in (so during friday and the weekend) so that I have the rest of the week to flush any extra sodium or anything out of my body. I've never had it mess up my WI's so far. So just a thought, :)
Jessi, you are right. Once you have a great day of eating well and some exercise you really do feel so much better about everything. So glad your DH has joined you!!

Well... my eveing went fine. I'm just very tired from the day for some reason. Maybe because it was hotter than normal. I'm having to run the ac tonight to cool the house off enough to sleep well. During the day I can do just fine with it off and just the windows open and the fans on but at night I need it to be cool, is that weird?? But anyway, guess I'll get off here and get in bed. TTYL!

Whoa! My head is spinning trying to keep up! This thread hops!
Had a pretty good walk today, I'm not sure how long it was, my husband said he'd dock the milage tomorrow. Eating was a bit bad today. breakfast dry wheat cereal coffee lunch 1 1/2 fried (<-the bad part) chicken thigh macaroni and cheese and an orange I ordered roasted from the deli and it was to late to go back. So I picked the skin off. It was still pretty fatty. dinner chipped beef and cheese on a oat bran english muffin snacks few bites of a spinach ham pita wrap and an orange also had a gormet cocoa.
I was alittle to tuckered to get on ebay last night. Maybe tonight and maybe tomorrow. I'm giving myself some motivation :workout: , I need a new swim suit and a pair of walking shoes. So that will be my treat for 130#. I haven't set a date yet just because I'm not really on a plan. Except to make better choices until I get on WW.

Leigh, did you have any trouble getting registered with Ebay? I don't want to give them my credit card# or my primary email acct. I'm excited to get on a plan tho. And Liam is beautiful. Aren't little boys so neat. He looks like he has a fantastic personality.
Jackie!!! so good to see you! I've missed you tons. I've thought about ya alot too. How did it go, did you get on the scale? Saying a prayer for ya that it went well.
Penny ~ how did Andrew's test go? Hope all went well. I'm still learning all the programs on this new computer so as soon as I get better with it I'll post a picture of Baylan.
Ricci Congrats on being so close to your goal! Wow you must feel great. So what are you gonna do to treat yourself once you meet that goal?
Michelle Argh! Pulling off diapers is the pits! and I love that name Teagan. How did you come up with it?
Cindi :^: Oh sorry to hear about Logan swallowing a Quarter. It must have been pretty scary.
Crystal sounds like you are doing so well with exercising. Can ya send me some of that motivation!? And 11# is great!
Hi Jessi! nice to meet you. Can't wait to get to know you better!
Julie my kids NEVER ever sleep over at their grands without my husband or myself. They do have a nanna they stay with from time to time maybe 3x a year with out either of us.
Geri congrats on staying the same on your wi! wtg.
Spryng your tan looks so goot its almost tempting to go get in the tanning bed! I have no time or place to put my kids I did go, soooo looks like my tan will come from a bottle and hopefully some sunlight. I still can't get over how great you look. I'm such a mess right now. 6 mo post baby is kinda icky. Hair loss is so bad. I can't wait untill my hair stops falling out and growing back in. Its so thin. Have you been measuring then? You mentioned needing to lose inches and I'm curious what your measurments are. I keep putting off doing mine. Maybe tomorrow. I'll post it in my sig when ever I get around to doing it.

Well hope I didn't miss anyone if I did..sorry :o
Ginny!!! I miss ya and am dying to hear all about soft ball and all the exciting things in your life.

Hi Misty! No I never did buy a measuring tape the whole time I've been losing. Which I really wish I had now because I know I've already lost tons of inches. But as soon as that dvd gets here I'll buy one to keep track from then on out. You shouldn't have to give ebay your credit card info and if you can open a new email account at yahoo or something just for ebay if you want, but they don't give out your email address and you won't get spam from them. I hope you are able to register there soon. :) I lost alot of hair after Tanner too. It's just now lessening and growing back in. I always told DH that I should be bald by now from all the hair that comes out. I have to clean out my brush every day and it's a wad of hair!! But it's getting better so I know how you feel. Well when I do take my measurements I'll post them for you to see.
Ok, gotta get in bed! G'nite!

Cindi - omg girl I had no idea you had 7 kids lol I must have overlooked that somewhere along the line. Well god bless you for having the strength to care for and nurture 7 children!!

Julie - No one can fault you for wanting to stay out in the beautiful weather enjoy it while you have it :) I don't let my kids stay anywhere I'm the one who is attached and I'm always afraid of something bad happening. The only times Taylor has stayed elsewhere was when I was in the hospital and hubby had to work. Even that was only once!! One of my sisters stayed at my house and took care of her while I was in the Hospital having Teagan so she didn't really go somewhere else :)

Crystal - Good to hear that people can tell that you are making progress!! That is so wonderful!

Geri - Those pictures are so adorable!! And that deck must be beautiful!!

Melinda - I love vickies secret too!! Can't wait to buy some nice under clothes again lol. But I did save a whole box of my nicer bras and panties for when I got skinny again so I will have some :)

Leigh - I bet you were happy to get your ww stuff, it will help you stay OP and keep you motivated :) Good luck girly!!

Jessi - Glad you got a post in, keep up the work!

Well guys I'm gonna play a little solitaire and head to bed. I hope you all have a wonderful evening and I will talk to you tomorrow.

whoops there were 3 posts while I was writing mine lol

Spryng - Sorry your chili didnt turn out better it really sounded good but sometimes you just can't tell til its all thrown together :)

Misty - lol well to stop Teagan from pulling off her diaper we started putting bloomers on her those little pantie things that go under their dresses and it seems to have helped. Hubby picked the name Teagan, I'm not sure where he heard it or what but I liked it when he told me and I picked the middle name Kinsey I had heard it on tv one day and just fell in love with it :)

Penny - You know I'm Praying for you girly!! And I sent my guardian angel your way. My thoughts will be with you all day tomorrow.

Ok now I should go to bed lol Have a goodnight girls!
Love to you all!

Hello!

Well, I got brave and hopped on the scale today. Thank goodness it wasn't as much as my guess. I guessed 5# heavier than what it read. Unfortunately I weighed 5.5# more than when I recorded my weight last, which was on Jan. 10th. So...I'll take Spryngs advice and look at it as this is the most I'll weigh and tomorrow hopefully I'll weigh less! Oh!, Oh! .... I just received an important phone call. TTFN I'm back!! My friend just called me to let me know that her basement flooded about a 1/2 hour ago and to top things off- her electric went out too! Thank goodness she was able to call me on her cell phone to get an update on the weather and thankfully I had a better weather forcast for her to tell her DH. Now-for my exercise dept.----
I ruptured my lower disc in my back this past weekend and I went on a follow-up appt. at my chiropractor today and he said to take it easy til at least Friday when he sees me next. I guess I'd better be a really good girl in the nutrition dept., huh? I've been doing pretty good for the past week on watching my carbs and cutting portion sizes, so I should see a loss soon I hope. Well, it's getting late here, so I better sign off. Good Night!
Well, I didn't go to sleep yet. Geri: I couldn't help to take a peek at your newest pictures. I enjoyed them very much! It's nice to have faces to go along with the posts. Do you have a recent one of yourself, or are you like me & hide from the camera? What kind of camera do you own? I'm sure it's a digital one, or did you scan the pictures off your printer? I'm looking into buying a half-way decent digital camera. We have a Sony TV and it has a place to download pictures right on to our TV. But any info on a camera would be helpful and the price too. Well, this time I'm signing off. Zzzzz.......

:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Good morning gals. I sure hope everyone has had a great night. I slept 6 straight slolid hours. Yesterday Spryng got in 9 1/2 and I'm excited about 6, LOL.

Well, there were alot of posts last night after mine, so here goes.

Julie, my kids, well my daughters, have several people that they can sleepover at. My mom's, my MIL's, and their Aunt Debra. They still only sleepover once in a while. Maybe once every couple of months. It's just enough, because EVERY time they spend the night away, when they come back they are terrors. It wasn't so bad this last time, but I guess it's because of course at nanny's they get away with more, I don't know.
I have a friend that lets her son, he's 7, spend several nights in a row with her MIL. He hasn't lately, but he used to and he is very undisciplined, go figure, right. I just think every once in a while is enough. You don't want them to get used to it and get spoiled over there, but it's good to change up his routine every once in a while. How old is he? That matters alot too.

Cindi, WTG girl, for getting a size smaller. That is an awesome feeling isn't it? So proud of you. Are things getting any better with dh and his work? I hope so. I'll pray for you.

Penny, sounds like you're having some busy days. GL with Andrew today. :)

Spryng, hope you have a good night. And I sleep better when I'm cold. We have window units and I like to set them cold, cold, cold. I've always loved sleeping in hotel rooms because you don't have to pay for the a/c, so I like to put it as cold as it can go.

MistyMichele, my motivation comes and goes. I'm extra motivated now because I'm almost a size smaller and me and dh are taking a weekend away at the end of June and that is what is motivating me. It works better if you set yourself some mini goals but something big that really matters and would really make you happy. That's the best motivation I can get.

Michelle, hope you have a great night. How is it going with your neighbors?

Jackie, sorry about your back. Hope it gets better soon. So you should do really well on the nutrition dept. but don't under do it.

Geri, those pictures are adorable. Looks like that cake was good. I hope you enjoyed some time with your dh on the deck.

Well girls, I slept well. I've got more errands to run today but this time I'm doing them after breakfast instead of after lunch. I need to really work in my garden this afternoon. I wanted to tell you all what my dh did yesterday. After dinner, I heard him say he was going somewhere so I asked him to hurry and go so he could hurry and get back so I could exercise. Out of the clear blue, he told me to get all the kids shoes on and he would take ALL of them. Can you believe that? I didn't ask or nothing. And he was in a bad mood yesterday because he doesn't feel real good, but he still did that. And I did alot of griping about him so I wanted to brag just a bit on him. I thought that was one of the nicest things he could have done. And he heard my FIL brag on my weight loss, so I think that makes him happier to watch the kids for me to do it, knowing it's paying off. Well girls. I hope you all have a great day. I've got to get in there and make dh's lunch and get him out of the bed. TTYL

I just found out that there is an 80% chance that our very good friends are moving to FL :( I know they have to do what's best for them, but it's hard to hear.

I did very well yesterday on WW. So far, I really like it. It's quite reasonable and I don't totally feel like I'm dieting or being overly restricted. It's more behavior modification focused it seems to me . . . it definitely makes me think about each food choice I make, which is a good thing. Also, having to write down everything I eat is good too.

Does anyone have any good recipies using ground turkey, rice, seasonings, etc.? I may go to meals.com (Thanks, Crystal!) and look one up.

Melinda - what is Circle?

Julie - Liam is just shy of six-months, and we left him overnight with the grandparents for the first time a few weeks ago. He spent two nights with them while we were in Key West for our anniversary. It's hard for me to say with older kids since I have no experience with that! Still, Liam is very clingy with me, but I notice when I leave him with a sitter, he becomes a bit less clingy for a few days, so I think they kind of adjust. Especially if it's people they know well.

Geri - Will and Tony are precious! And your yard looks beautiful - the lawn looks sooo lush and inviting. Glad your maintaining :D

Crystal - I bet FIL's compliment helps so much in keeping you OP! That's a sweet compliment. It sounds like you get along nicely with him - if so, that's nice. Also, I'm glad DH did that with the kids for you - that's great of him to offer support. Good job on the work out!

Cindi - a size smaller jeans??? :bravo: for you - bask in that for a while :)
Hmm . . . try and take it easy with yourself (easier said than done, I know) - hope your throat feels better ASAP.

Spryng - Congrats on your coursin's reaction - bet you felt awesome, which you should :cb: I was talking about activity points from exercise - I know it's strange since I earn them, but somehow it feels weird . . . I still used them, though  But about your Flexpoints advice - I was thinking about doing that too - using them on the weekends when we're doing lots of socializing and such. Thanks for the insights.

Misty - Thanks for the Liam compliment. I really like your little Halloween picture. I'm thinking of doing a Halloween party for Liam's first B-day (he was born October 21st). As for ebay - I registered with them sooooo long ago, that I can't really remember what info I gave them. But I have a Paypal account, so maybe I didn't need to give them a credit card number? They're linked with paypal (ebay owns paypal). Are you familiar with paypal?

Penny - My thoughts and prayers are with Andrew, you, and the rest of the family. Keep us posted.

Michelle - hope you had a nice night :)

Jackie - sorry to hear about your back! Hope it's feeling better soon.

I was calculating potential weight loss and realized I just may reach my goal weight by Liam's first birthday :)

OK Ladies,

Only one out of three kids is up so I wanted to post before I left this morning. I feel so lost if I don't.....

Jessi,
Congrats to you! I am so happy that you and dh are in this together! That is wonderful! I know how you feel about eating right and feeling good ;)

Leigh,
You are doing awesome! How are you liking ww so far??? Sounds like you are really excited!

Melinda,
What is a circle??? We had taco salad yesterday! It was yummy (no shells for me :)) And about the weaning. I was totally not ready and neither was Andrew but he is almost a year and I personally don't want to have him walking around nursing. Not putting down on anyone but it is just not personally for me. I say you are doing awesome nursing as long as you are :) And Andrew did not take any supplements, pacifier or anything. Not b/c I didn't give it to him, but b/c he refused...

Geri,
I LOVED the pics! The kiddos are soooo cute ;) And congrats on the turtle!!!! You have been having such great losses!

Julie,
Both my parents and inlaws live next door to us and I can count on one hand or maybe two hands how many times my kids have slept over. And none of them have slept over until after a year. Just worked out that way.

Cindi,
WEIGH TO GO!!!! That is awesome you got into the next size jeans!!!!! Congrats Congrats! Hope you are feeling better :)

Misty,
Andrew's test is today. And on the Ebay subject... the only reason you would have to give a credit card number is if you had the yahoo or hotmail account.

Spryng,
I am so glad you got great compliments from your cousin! I know all your hard work is showing! :)

Michelle,
Hope you have a great day today! Congrats on the 1lb loss so far :) You are doing awesome! And congrats on the 36 bra! I am still in a 38. I am just like Spryng I guess.... I expanded and I will probably never go below a 36.

Leigh,
That is awesome that you can reach goal by Liam's birthday! That is your motivation! Run with it!

Crystal,

Penny, Andrew is so cute. He's a big boy. Reminds me of my Andrew. At 17 months he's 32 lbs. and weighing in more than my almost 3 yo. dd, Ally. That's a cute picture. Good Luck today, and let us know how things go.

Wow lots of posts already lol. Well I hopped on the scale today and it said 230 so another lb down and 230 is my 20 lbs gone mark!! So that was a bit exciting for me :). Well nothing big planned here for today as usual we just like to chill out at home. I will probably do some sort of project with Taylor not sure what though :)

It seems that a lot of you live next door to your parents or in laws, thats great but I could never do it lol. My mom for instance would want us to do everything for her even though she is perfectly capable herself, but then on the other hand if they lived next door I wouldnt have to worry about wild parties lol.

Penny - What an adorable picture of Andrew. You are in my thoughts girly Keep your head up!

Leigh - Glad you did so well on WW day one!! Keep up the good work!

Crystal - Funny you ask about the neighbors lol they are driving me absolutely nuts. No parties since the last one since they were given a citation for disturbing the peace, but yesterday one of them was speeding up and down the street on a motorcycle, I mean speeding fast, and I was just so ticked off cuz what if a child had been playing outside, and besides that I live in a school zone ugghh I just want them gone lol I'll leave it at that.

Jackie - I understand how big a step it is just to hop on that scale!! I'm sure you'll do great once you get in the groove.

Ok guys I gotta get going Teagan is really eyeballing the bowl of oatmeal and pears I have for her lol I'll talk to you all a little later.

Hey Michelle, I am thinking we both should consider posting on the scale addicts anonymous thread, too.(j/k, lol!) I weigh myself often, more than once a day. But I feel it helps me not to slip up as much. I don't think it is such a bad thing, but I see so many saying it is. Am I just in denial???? Congrats on your 20! I am ready for 25, and trying so hard not to let this difficult time with DH mess me up. It ain't easy! I wish I was in a 36 bra, but I know my DH doesn't! I don't seem to be losing any of my chest, darn it!!

Spryng, I have gone from a size 20 to a 16 since I started on this little journey. I carry so much of my weight right in my midsection that my pants are all big in my legs. My waist is even smaller than a 16.

Penny, My prayers are with you today.

Crystal, What a nice DH, wish I had one!! LOL! WTG on getting that exercise in! Don't stop now, you are on a roll.

Leigh, Glad the WW is going to work for you! Sorry your friends might move. That's always hard.

Well, gotta get housework done, so I'll be back soon! Well, maybe this afternoon.

Love to all!

Good morning all!
Wow, so many posts already!
Ginny??? Ginny where are you? I'm missing you!!! Hope you are doing fine! :)
Michelle, congrats on another lb down!!! are you still weighing yourself everyday! LOL. Addicting huh? But you are doing great! I couldn't live right next door to my family or my in-laws. My in-laws live about 15 minutes from me. So I don't see them much unless we go to their house, they never come over to ours. (even though they know they are welcome) and my family lives in oklahoma. Have fun with your project with Taylor today!
Penny I'll be thinking about you today and Andrew's test. Will you get the results today? We are here for you!
Leigh, so sorry that your friends may be moving away. Hey but just think, it will give you a great excuse to visit Florida!!! :) So glad you are liking WW so far. I really think it fits in great with real life. And if you have an Applebees near you they have 10 new WW items on their menu now! Dh and I are planning to go try some this friday. They have 8 entrees and 2 desserts. Looks great too. I'm sure I can find you some good recipes. I would recommend you subscribing to the ww magazine, they have great recipes and stories or cookinglight magazine. If you subscribe to cookinglight you also get free access to their website and they have WONDEFUL recipes!!! I just love it. But it's just an idea. Also, you can go to weightwatchers.com and click on community and under that you will see community recipe swap and those are free recipes too. And if you ever want to eat out here is a great site to visit before you go to see what you can order and how many pts are in it http://www.dottisweightlosszone.com/restaurants.html And I don't eat my activity pts. I don't know why. I just never have. But that may change when I start my new workout. (whenever it gets here, lol) And you are right about the ebay thing you told Misty. I forgot that if you don't give them your regular email account (the one that came with your internet service) then you have to give them your credit card info. I forgot all about that since I use my regular email with ebay. They really are a safe site. Don't you think?
Crystal, so glad you got a good nights sleep. I know some people run great on 6 hours but I am not one of them. I have to have a minimum of 8 hrs or I'm a walking zombie all day. When I was younger I had to have a minimum of 10-12 hrs, can you believe that??? I just required so much sleep. So it has gotten better, lol. And that was so nice of your DH!!! I knew he was a good guy ;)
Jackie, congrats on getting brave and getting on that scale!!! When will your official WI day be? I know you will have a good loss this week. :) And take it easy with your back. I don't know if you remember my DH's back problems but it went from a ruptured disk to a herniated one in no time and he required intensive surgery. So follow docs orders. Plus once you get some weight off it will help your back too. Dh's doc really wanted him to lose weight because he still has one bulging disk and he put it off until now, and lately he's been having back pain again, so it is overdue for him to follow docs orders now. And I have a Kodak Easyshare digital camera that I just love. It's a 3.2 MP and takes great pictures. I got mine on sale for 100 bucks. You could probably get one online pretty reasonable. I never thought I'd want a digital camera and now I never use my 35 mm anymore! And it's a 400 dollar camera! But with the digital I can take the pictures, upload them, editi them, crop them etc, before I get them printed off so I don't get bad photos anymore. Like with a regular camera you get what you get, you know? Hope you find one soon! They are nice to have.

Well, today I'm going to work in my zones for while (it's the bathroom and one extra room this week) so I'm going to work in my bathroom and my laundry room this week. Is anyone else still doing flylady?? But that is about it. We are about to get some storms so I won't be venturing out today. So I guess I'll get off here and start my morning routine. TTYL!

Cindi, you snuck in on me! :) I don't think weighing often is a bad thing unless you let it control your emotions. You know? There are weeks I hop on the scale everyday just to peek and see how I am doing, and others I'm not interested until my official WI day. But as long as you know your body flucuates constantly, hour to hour, day to day, then you will be fine. My pants do the same thing. In the wasit I can be a size smaller probably, but my hips keep me in a 10. Wide hips I guess, ugh. :( LOL But I know they can get smaller with exercise, I just need to DO it.
Oh I wanted to mention earlier that I won't be weighing in this friday. Since DH is coming in and he wants to WI on sat so I'll wait and WI with him. So saturday will be my WI day this week. :) Ok, need to go! TTYL!

Ya'll are posting a lot - that's fun!
I'm still doing well with WW today. Thanks toeveryone for all the help and encouragement with WW, advice on points, website links, etc. It feels great to be so supported. :strong:

Michelle: 20lb mark!! Way to go!!!! :bravo:

Cindi - I also wonder if I'll see a change in my chest - I'm huge since having DS

Spryng - I'm totally like you with sleep. 7 hours sleep I can get by, but feel tired. I do best with 8+. Even as a child I slept a lot . . . lucky for my mother  Yeah, I've never had a complaint about ebay. I've even sold stuff on there from time to time. Thanks for all the advice! It truly helps. I'm still doing flylady, though took a brief break when my mother was visiting. I'm totally on top of laundry right now and everything is clean!

Spryng, I seem to be continually doing the crisis cleaning portion of Flylady these days. I have the mindset that I deserve a day off if I kill myself cleaning, I DO realize that's not working for me AT ALL!! Today the man we are buying this house from(lease purchase) is coming and I am trying to make it look nice before he does, UGH! If I was doing it right, this would not be necessary. I am the type of person that can get so sidetracked and off course with any change in my schedule at all. I wish I could somehow change that. But I don't know how.

Off to clean the bathroom now! Be back when I break a sweat again!

Hi again!!
Geri I would love it if you called me tonight!! I almost called you last night :) Have fun grocery shopping!
Leigh, have a great day with WW today! What is for dinner? I'm making soft tacos tonight. Quick and easy and very filling. (I use boca crumbles to save pts)
Cindi, you sound overwhelmed! Remember, just 15 min in your zone and take breaks! Have a great day!
Well my Saving Dinner book came in today! (she is part of the flylady team there) So I am excited to start with her recipes next week. She gives you a year's worth of menus (including sides which I always have a hard time figuring out what to make on the side) with grocery lists etc and they are all healthy things. So I'll have something to sit and read later. But now I really need to get my morning routine going, lol. I got dressed and my bed made and one load of laundry going, now I need to unload my dishwasher and work 15 min in my zone. TTYL!!!

Well I have decided to splurge today and have some whole wheat french toast made with egg substitute and sugar free syrup that has 0 calories :) it will be a high calorie breakfast because of the bread, but I haven't had it in a long time so I figure one breakfast won't kill me plus I'm using whole wheat bread and egg substitute as opposed to white bread and whole eggs. Can you tell I'm trying to rationalize lol.

Yes I gotta get to cleaning too but I did want a nap today ugghhh who knows lol I seem to be in a tug of war with myself today ;)

Ok guys I'll see you in a bit.

Good Morning Ladies

Thanks for all your replies about the sleepovers. I don't feel so darn guilty now. My husband is really pushing the issue. Oh well. He said you did it. I had to because my parents divorced and my mom had to work two jobs. So you can't expect a five year old to take care of themselves and a younger sibling. Even though I did it after school, that started when I was about seven years old.

Spryng sorry your chili did not turn out. Thats funny, I eat something too because I hate to waste and it food and its there and all the work that went into making it. What are you making tonight? I think I will do bean enchiladas. I usually have those every Monday night but we had the leftovers. What do you have planned today?

Michelle and Misty I am so glad that I never had to deal with the diaper pulling off stuff. But i have heard stories about really messy stuff!

Geri great pictures. I love the huge deck. Your kids are adorable. I just love watching them eat cake on their first birthday. Messy but fun.

Hi everyone I missed. Check in later. Julie

Hi Again!!
Kids are down for their naps so it's nice and quiet in here :) *big sigh*
Julie, your enchiladas sound really good. I'm having soft tacos. I have them about once a week also. With fat free refried beans on the side. The kids LOVE it. I use the boca crumbles instead of ground beef though. Saves on fat and pts, plus I actually like the crumbles, LOL. and the kids can't taste the difference so far. What do I have planned for today? Not much now. I finally got off my butt and finished my morning routine. The laundry room looks fantastic now. All I have left to do is go through 2 bags of mismatched socks (I went through a period of just buying more socks instead of finding the match so I have bags of socks now, lol) but I will sort through them, probably tomorrow, and get them put away. So for the rest of the day I'll be reading my new Saving Dinner book (some of the recipes look so great and I can't wait to try them) and then I'll make dinner around 4 pm, watch AI tonight and that is really about it. Boring huh? But it's been raining most of the day now so it's a good day to stay inside and do nothing, lol. What do you have planned?
Michelle, how was your french toast? Is that allowed on SB? I only ask because you said it was a splurge and I have no idea what is allowed or not on that diet. I say take a nap! lol, your house will wait for you. :) Goodness knows when I am tired I take my nap and then get things done afterward when I have more energy.

Well, just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm off to add more things to my wish list on amazon.com. I've really become addcited to that site lately, lol. TTYL!

Thought this was cute and wanted to share:

The 8th grade science teacher, Mrs. Parks, asked her class, "Which human
body part increases to 7 times its normal size when stimulated?" No one
answered until little Mary stood up, angry, and said, "You should not be
asking 8th graders a question like that! I'm going to tell my parents, and
they will go and tell the principal, who will then fire you!"

With a sneer on her face, she then sat back down. Mrs. Parks ignored her
and asked the question again, "Which body part increases to 7 times its
normal size when stimulated?" Little Mary's mouth fell open; then she said
to those around her, Boy, is she gonna get in big trouble!" The teacher
continued to ignore her and said to the class, "Anybody?"

Finally, Kevin stood up, looked around nervously, and said, "The body part
that increases 7 times its size when stimulated is the pupil of the eye."
Mrs. Parks said, "Very good, Kevin," then turned to Mary and continued "As
for you, young lady, I have three things to say: "One" You have a dirty
mind, "Two" you didn't read your homework; and "Three" one day you are
going to be very, very disappointed."
