Roo is now trained to sleep on his back in my hand or lap. He usually picks my hand though. He is a BRAT!! He loves to pick fights with the other rats, and those wimps bow down to Roo...it's hillarous to see this 3 pound 8-Ball rat flip over on his belly so Roo can dominate him. We crack up at these guys...characters I tell ya!! I love them lots & lots!! :cloud9:

WOW! Eight Ball got huge since I've last seen him LOL! I think he has Piper beat.... he weighs in at 2.7 lbs now...

Yeah, he's now capable of caving in my lap. :lol: I put him on my small digital scale and he weighed 3 lbs 2 oz. The lazy butt just sat on it like it was his bed or something. Silly rat. :D :mouse: I think Tweety has him beat, though Tweets won't stay still long enough to get weighed. :rolleyes:

What I do is I give mine a yogie treat and place them in a tuppeware LOL they always sit long for that. Except Daisy, Lambchop and Paige won't eat when they are out of their cage... so it gets tricky there.

I just spent $50 on friggin Yogies. Petsmart had the special going again. They've already went through 2 cups!! Spoiled Rotten Rats!!! They live better than I do.. :lol:

Will you be making any more hammocks?? If so, I'd be willing to buy some. The girls have ate theirs to bits. The boys don't want to share. :p

I don't really have time to make any right now, but After June 11th I will be out from school and June 18th is when work goes on summer break. So around then I'll start to make some more. I sold a few of them back in April for like $7 each. I was really happy that someone wanted them lol. I need to figure out how to get more creative with them though....

Yeah, I been wanting to ask you how Ann was doing with her surgery, of course with the circumstances at hand, it wasn't possible.

Okie so let me get this straight, you want two flats and two tubes with holes in them. Do you like the holes on the sides like the last ones I did or do you prefer the holes on top? I won't get to them til around the weekend after June 11 though. I've ntoced the same thing, if there are already holes they tend to not chew on them as much. I might experiment with my next batch and see how many holes I can put in them LOL.... I'm think one on the side and one on the top... or maybe two on the sides, but opposite sides and catty-corner from each other... shrug lol...

You know, that new walmart by me was suppose to be a super, but they protested it. Heheheh too bad tho...would have been nice...

About paying... I was sewing some at the yard sale in april when this lady asked me to make one for her ferret. So I sold two of them for 7 bucks. A big tube one like the one I gave cept longer... if I remember correctly it was rather large , and a flat one that was a bit bigger as well... Then she asked me if I could make a doggie bed... I told her I wasn't that talented. LOL

Oh and about paying... I don't really care, yer a friend, I wouldn't charge you. How about a trade? Those videos you were gonna sell, how much were you gonna sell for? Then I'll make the equivelent in hammocks? LOL heheheh gimme an offer :)

Ann is doing good. She just finally got her shunt out. Amen. That poor girl has been through **** and back these past 2 years. Both of them. I hope it's finally over. I hate seeing them hurt. :(

Nutter is the same... unfortunately for her, it's only getting worse. Regrettably, I think soon we are going to have to put her down… :’( I don’t want to have to do that again. I had a hard time with Phoebe. Sadly though, as you know, all my rats are about the same age, so it’s going to soon be a reality. She’s a fighter tho… and she still as spunky as she was when I first met her. She still Queen B* in her cage LOL. I really think I should make the appointment for her, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

Sadly, Boobie is having the same problem she is… in the same location. So if I do make that appointment, I may make it for the both of them. Sigh, its gotten rather big on Boobie, and I’m afraid it may open up like with Phoebe.

Ummm...The Braves got beat. By Randy Johnson. Coincidentally, he also threw a rare perfect game against them. :D Have to give credit to the Braves fans though for being good sports!! They gave Randy a standing ovation!! :smug:

OMG those pictures are so cute, I love furry faces. The only thing that skeeves me out is their tails, I don't know why either, maybe if they had fur on them it would be another story.

I have one that has a stump for a tail. And a stub for a foot. My handicapped boy Harry. But he doesn't know he's handicapped so *I* wont tell him. ;) The tails really don't bother me. I love all parts of my ratties. They are the best pets I have ever owned. I will never ever be without pet rats ever again. Ever. Ask any rat owner or previous owner. They'll say the almost the same thing. Mauv use to have a rat too!! Whata lady... :smug: They also make GREAT pets for kids...unlike hamsters and gerbils that tend to bite, a tamed, loving, trusting pet rat will NEVER bite you, even if in extreme pain. My poor Stubs was on his death bed, suffering in pain, and he still managed to reach over and give momma a kiss before dying. :cry: Ok...enough of that. I get to bawling when I think of Stubs.

Well... call it an even game then, cause the Braves beat the the other night <G> I think the scare waws 5 to 1. I'll have to check my cell, I get the scores sent to me through txt messaging... Tells me when the games start and then what the scores were... Course my Braves are sucking this year... but thats their fault. They traded most of their good players.

My dear Cosmo is gone. :cry: He hasn't been home since sometime early Saturday. Hubby yelled at him and he split. This isn't like him cause usually he comes back soon. He's lazy and can't stand to be away from his food and bed for too awful long so I am worried. We have flyers made for the mailbox, and tomorrow I will put ads in the paper. he had a collar and name tag on so hopefully if he is in someones house they will call or something!!

Imp is always the first thing I grab when there are "issues"... we had a bomb threat at one apartment I lived in (mad bf trying to get gf and son!), and I refused to leave till I had the cat. Got myself in big trouble with my Red Cross leader, too, 'cuz I snuck the cat into the shelter they set up for my apartment. And I know better... no animals in the shelter! Oh well.

Ah, love the adorable ratties! :) So gorgeous! Please pet their darling tails (my favorite part) for me! My best friend had a wonderful rattie in college who used to sit on my shoulder with its tail curled around the back of my neck. Rat heaven! :)

Sue Marie, those hammocks sound amazing! I totally hear you about fabric...my coworker quilts like a madwoman, so she has the right to indulge her fabric habit, but I am so slow at getting projects done. I have no excuses for all the fabric I buy! :lol:

Beachgal... LOL yeah... I get so motivated at the store about projects and then the next thing I know, I'm up to my neck in started projects that are half done hehehe...
