WW Food and Point Issues - Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches

Do the Silhouette's count as a milk? These are SOOOO good! Might be dangerous for some to have in their freezer.

I dont know about the milk part, but I thought since you love them like I do, you would like to know that you can go on their website skinnycow.com, and request coupons!! Maked them all the tastier!!

Thanks for the coupon tip! I just bought my first package a few days ago and I thought I died and went to heaven!! I didn't think they were available in my area. Glad I was wrong!!!

skinny cows only have 8% calcium so that does not qualify em as a milk...but they sure taste good!

My instructor has said that a food item must have at east 25% calcium to be counted as a milk.

Even w/o counting them as a milk, they are GREAT!

Well, I bought these today, had one for dessert for supper tonight. They ARE gooooodddd!, but I'd like to know, does everyone pay $4.99 for a package of 6??? I think that is very pricey, and don't know if I will ever buy them again at that price. :( DH talked my into buying them.

Why is it when something is good for you, lower fat, whatever, the price gets jacked up? :( It's just beyond my comprehension. :?:

I purchased them at my local Kroger for $4.99, but then found them at Biggs for $4.09. You can go to their website and click on "Coupons" to receive them.

I finally found these today at a Fry's supermarket in Gilbert (suburb of Phoenix). They had two different kinds of Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich six-paks: the first had all vanilla ice cream, and the second had half chocolate and half vanilla Both were $4.99 a pack...a bit steep, but, hey, in the quest to get to where I want to be, a small price to pay. I also found a good selection of Blue Bunny NF ice cream stuff: the fudge bars and a new kind of bars I'd not seen before: lime and orange sherbert mixed with vanilla ice cream.

I may not have had Easter candy today, but at least I was able to have an ice cream treat!

The price for Skinny Cows in the Chicago area (at Dominick's and Jewel food stores) is $4.99.

Jewel had them on sale for $4.99, buy one get one free!!! I bought 4 packs, wrapped them and put them in the deep freezer. After 6 weeks or so, they still tasted great.

While I normally prefer chocolate over any other flavor, I really like the strawberry ones; they're excellent.

Does Jewel have the mint or peanut butter ones?
I payed $5.29 at Dominicks. They only had the chocolate and vanilla ones. I dont mind paying this much for something this good and if it gets me to goal..........
I can't wait to get them buy one get one free! I just may have to break down and get one of those Jewel prefered cards afterall. ( I never shop Jewel my husband worked for Dominicks for 17 yrs) :-)

Jewel only carries the van./choc. and straw. varieties. I didn't even know they made pnt. bttr. or mint till I accessed their website (thanks to this thread!).

I usually shop Jewel vs. Dom., as I worked for Osco for 24 yrs.! :D

My Albertson's (College Station, TX) just started carrying these and had them on sale this past week for $3.99! I had to make 3 trips because they couldn't keep them stocked although they received shipments every other day. I bought several packages for my freezer yesterday. Now for the real challenge...can I eat only one a day? This will be hard since I know I have *extras* in the freezer!

I'm in Mesa, AZ and will be checking the Fry's out over here (thanks for the tip Vada). What are the best ones and do the points go up/down depending on certain flavors or are they all the same point value? Thanks!

I checked out the website for their coupon. It said the coupon was no longer available as of the 13th:( I'll try to snag one for next time!

Hey Nona, I just found the Skinny Cows at Albertson's on Baseline and Power. There were only two six-packs left, pushed way against the back on the bottom shelf! I rooted them out, and snagged them both! $4.49 per six-pack. I suspect that they go out as quick as they come in. The Fry's location where I purchased them earlier is Val Vista and Baseline.

There are three of us at work who are on WW, and today I took in my little cooler with a sample of the Skinny Cows, Blue Bunny sherbert bars and fudge pops, and WW ice cream sandwiches. Now we have enough treats to last awhile!

Hi ~ At my WW meeting this a.m. a gal said they were only 2points - but another gal said 4??? Are they different points for different flavors? Or is the serving size for the whole thing or just 1/2? I'm grocery shopping tomorrow & can't wait to find these!! They sound fabulous!:D

Today, for the first time, I found the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches in my Tampa Publix! They cost a little more than most ice cream--$4.49 for 6, but for 2 points, they are definitely worth a try!

Nona, I attend WW at a Phoenix law firm. The firm is one of my clients, and they have WW at Work every Friday at noon. You don't have to work there to go, so I take advantage of our business relationship and attend. I live about ten minutes from Gilbert and Southern...but have never attended the WW there before. By the time I get home from work (mid-town Phoenix), that's the last thing I want to do!

Has anyone tried both of these products? I have tried the Health Choice ice cream sandwiches. They are 2pts per sandwich and I was wondering how they stack up to skinny cow sandwiches ( i haven't found them in my area yet).

Just to let you know that almost all Publix stores in the Naples, FL area also have the Skinny Cows and they're flying off the shelves. I'd say we've had them for about 6 weeks now.

Very pricey but worth every penny!!!!!!
