Well I got another 4 miles behind me I did all my walking for the day in one sitting or rather walking lol, that way I don't do it late at night and my weigh in is affected. Which today I was at 233 again the same as yesterday and a lb up from last week, I'm hoping for a miracle to be a lb down tomorrow lol.
I hope you are all having a great day!

I would like to buddy with you or at least stay in touch Stay at home moms have tough jobs with no rewards or time to themselves but in the end it is worth it. Pattie

Well girls, I'm back from the zoo. Not too many posts today.
Pattie, welcome aboard. Please stick around here, you'll love it. Don't be discouraged about losing weight too slow. First of all, you could be gaining or not losing at all, second of all, it is better to lose it slow, slow, slow. It really does stay off better. Your body might just be slow to lose weight, but that's okay, you're doing what you need to to lose and be healthy. You get a reward for that alone.
Leigh, I used a midwife too. Had all three of my kids at home, it's awesome. I use NO birth control. Never have and don't plan on it. I sort don't believe in using it, dh says he wants a vasectomy and if that's what he chooses, I'll support that, but if it were me, I wouldn't do anything. God has everything under control. You can get on birth control but if it's in God's plan for you to have another one, you will. I know how you feel about being in that category. I by no means consider myself obese, but technically I am. Even my dh says I'm not, but the numbers don't lie. The zoo was gorgeous. East Texas is beautiful anyway, so the zoo is even better.
Michelle, hope you got that basement done. 4 miles is terrific. Alot of the zoo was uphill and I was pushing my 32 lb. son in the stroller, so I got some exercise in. Yes I am prolife all the way. I don't believe in abortion under ANY circumstance. Not rape, or anything. It's still a child God created and it was created for a reason. It's not up to us to get rid of it.
Well, like I pointed out, the zoo was great. The kids were great. The weather was PERFECT. We had alot of fun. I've sort of fallen off plan today even though I packed my lunch. But I'm gonna start lifting some weights at least 3x a week and continue my power walking about 5x or so. I think with all that and staying at or below 1500 I'll be fine. Even if I go off plan alittle too much.
Well, I'll be back around later. I've got to get some things done that didn't do themselves while I was gone, don't you hate that. You think you'll blink your eyes and it will be done when you get home, fat chance.

Good afternoon all!
Michelle, how does the nuvaring work? Is it something that never comes out? I love my IUD. And mine (Mirena) lasts for 5 years, the copper ones (which are hormone free) last for 10 years. Anyway, I will bow out of your abortion discussion though. There are some things I avoid talking about and that is politics and religion, I just don't like to cause any hurt feelings or anything. But I don't mind anyone else talking about them so don't think you've offended me because you haven't :)
Leigh, what happened to you at your doctors is what happened to me after my first son was born. I guess I didn't see myself as overweight and I was in denile. I went to get a checkup and the nurse mentioned something about me being overweight in such a matter of fact way that it was like a slap in the face. She wasn't being mean or critical but I never put that word with my body before and it was then and there I knew I had to do something. My ds was 6 months old at the time. So I guess that is why this time around I didn't wait until Tanner was very old when I started to get this weight off. So since she said the patch may not work for you, what did she recommend? And I have noticed Oprah lately. She is looking so good. She lost a bunch of weight for her 50th b-day and it seems her waist gets smaller each week. She looks great doesn't she? Of course she knows how to enhance her figure too.
Crystal, wow you got home fast! :) So glad you enjoyed your day.
Welcome Pattie!!! I am Spryng. Mother of 3. Ava 4, Bubba (aka Joseph) 3, and Tanner 10 months. I am currently on weight watchers and loving it! How long have you been on Jenny Craig? Slow weight loss is actually good. They say the slower it comes off the more apt it is to stay off. So hang in there!
Well my day has been going fine. My cousin came over for a few hours to chat and that was really nice and fun. She lives really close to me but we hardly ever see one another. She is the only family I have up here. Got my morning routine done and am fixing to make dinner. what is everyone having tonight? I'm making spaghetti squash covered with roasted chicken and sundried tomatoe alfredo sauce. MMmmmmm... makes me hungry just thinking about it, lol. I like using the spaghetti squash to save on pts. plus I love the flavor.
Well guess I should get off here. have a great evening all! :)

Did you miss me??? I'll tell ya I've had a time. Where to even begin. Ok well I might as well kinda start over and introduce myself. Looks like the only one around to recognize me would be Spryng. Sooo.
I'm Misty. Married to Hoss (for 8yr) SAH mother to Hannie (5yr) Grace Mae (3yr) and Baylan (6mo). I'll be 30 this year. I live in West Virginia. As of right now I'm on no diet at all. But seriously considering WW. I'm very out doorsy type and most loved is horseback ridding with my girls and gardening.
I was back for like one day (to 3FC) after I got my new computer. But then alot of things in my life went bad. Mostly personal. So I was so absorbed in what I was dealing with that I had to give up some things to make time for resolving problems. That took me away from 3FC. But I'm back now. YAY!
I'm still fighting post baby weight. Ick 138# but down from 168# since december. That was my weight 3 weeks after the baby.
I'm in desperate need of a plan. Its lack of money and lack of time to go to meetings that keeps me from WW. I don't have anytime to myself my 3 kids are always in tote. Not that I mind. But I just can't get away to meetings.
Spryng~ I missed ya girl! Hoped you were still posting here. So you have to fill me in on how you and the kids are and send some pictures. I'd LOVE to see Tanner. I bet he's a little Doll. Did you buy a new house yet? Last I was around you were looking. I read you stats. YOU GO GIRL! 129#
:dancer: ROCKS!!! I'm jealous! tee hee! So you really like WW? I'm thinking about it. Tell me what would you recomend? I'm going to go look on ebay for the materials. You know what would be great? I know you are so busy like me with 3 kids... But I'd be ever so grateful if you could check out ebay and email me which sale on material you think would be best. I'm so lame and have no idea what I need to get started. oh yeah I'm email@example.com I'd really appreciate any help you want to offer. Has your weightloss slowed down any? I can't remember what weight you were last. Well I gotta skedattle my husband is home!!!

Good Afternoon Ladies!
You go girl on your exercise!!!! You are doing awesome! I know you will have a great weigh in tomorrow! Good Luck!
Welcome! Hugs to YOU! I am so glad you joined us! We are a great bunch of motivating ladies! I'm Penny SAHM Mom to three boys Hunter, 4 1/2, Nicholas, 3 1/2 and Andrew 11 months! Hope you love it here! I know I do! And congrats to your weight loss! Slow and steady wins the race!
I am so glad you had a great time at the zoo! It is nice to get out of the house and do something as a family!
I have never had spagetti squash but I really want to try it. Is it just like the reg squash I buy at the fruit stand or is it the same thing?? I am glad your cousin came over and you got to visit! That was nice! :)
Welcome Back! I am not sure if I was here when you were. I started out here a little less than a year ago and then was MIA for a little while too but I have been back for a couple months and I feel great to be here! Congrats on the weight loss :cheer: Good for you! What is your goal if you don't mind me asking?
Well the reunion was great. Half of the family didn't come b/c it was flooding all around us and we couldn't even use the pavillion we rented at the campground. We just set up next to my grandma's campsite. It was still a great time! I ate my chicken breast I brought with me and picked up a little mini fruit salad from WalMart. We stay for about three hours or so. When I got home I made me a wheat tortilla wrap w/ refried beans tomato ff cheese and ff sour cream. And I am still on plan! YAH! I didn't eat the fried chicken, chips, or carrot cake, or the strawberry shortcake that was brought! I was so proud of myself and didn't even feel deprived at all!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day! It is still raining here and we are just bumming in the house :) :)
Hugs to you ALL!!!!
05-15-2004, 05:15 PM
Hey girl!!!!!! I do remember you! How's the baby doing????
Hope the boys are having a wonderful party!
05-15-2004, 06:45 PM
Spryng - I understand about the politics and religion thing lol I myself am usually the same way, I only brought it up because I had seen that someone was considering not joining a gym because of it :) I don't judge :D I'm glad you had a great day, and even had some visiting time in!
Crystal - So glad you had a good time at the zoo, and you got some good walking exercise in at the same time!
Pattie - Welcome!! I'm Michelle SAHM to 2 year old Taylor, and 7 month Teagan, both girls. I live in Montana, and I used to be an outdoorsy type before gained all this weight now I try not to go out ;) Stick around I'm sure you'll find all the support that you need.
Misty - Hi, look right above and you'll see who I am ;) lol I had Teagan on October 13 of 2003 so our children are very close in age :) You were due on my birthday lol pretty neat. Well welcome back and nice meeting you.
Penny - I am soooo proud of you!!! You did wonderful today. I never once doubted that you would. So glad you had fun at the reunion. Keep up the good work girl!!
Well I'm going to have ranch chicken without the bacon and a salad and squash (which I substitute for mashed sweet potatoes) and some Broccoli, I'm probably going to come up short on calories again but hopefully I'll at least hit 1000. Well I better finish getting dinner ready, I'll post again after I eat.
05-15-2004, 08:10 PM
Penny - You are so good with the family reunion; there are also temptations everywhere.
Leigh - I work in health care and drs are pressured to inform patients of healthy weight standards, due to malpractice and insurance companies. I think the charts are unrealistic. I do not feel obese. The important thing is that we know that we need to make a change and are doing it.
I didn't get in an offical workout, you know I am all or nothing on the workouts, but we took JW swimming at my MIL/FILs 1st time for about 1 1/2 hour. Dh says that counts. I will probably end the night with some stretches.
05-15-2004, 09:32 PM
Hope everyone is having a great night! The boards seem slow tonight but that means I won't have to think alot to address everyone.....
Let me know ASAP on the weigh in tomorrow!!!! You are doing awesome! And supper sounds good!
I know swimming does count as exercise! It is a great workout! Hope you had fun with JW! Did he like the water???? Hope you are doing well!
I am worried about my weigh in tomorrow. I ended up having my splurge tonight! We went to pizza buffet..... :( I had three slices of pizza.... You know the ones that look like frozen pizza, and then a small salad..... Yes, I ate too much and now I am hurting...... I didn't have any dessert if that counts for anything...
Oh well I am in this for life! Hopefully it don't hurt me too too bad....
Have a great night! I am going to hopefully turn in early tonight!
05-15-2004, 10:19 PM
Hey girls. I have done really, really bad. I have figured out my problem and now I have to figure out a solution. I do great ALL week and I can handle one day off plan, but when my weekend is out of whack it screws me up. I tell myself to not fold under temptation, but somehow that doesn't work. I have to figure out how to handle the tempts., when I'm away from home. Any ideas...???
Pattie, I welcomed you on my last post, but I didn't introduce myself. I'm Crystal, sahm of 3, Alisa 5y, Ally almost 3y, and Andrew is 17 months. I homeschool. I've been here only about 7 weeks or so, I think sometime at the end of March I joined. I've lost 11 and have lots more to go. I'm not following any plan. I count calories and try to get some exercise in.
Spryng, I did get home fast but we left at 9 am, made it there right after 10, it took about 2 hours to walk through, we had our picnic and came back. It was fast, but that's what I like about that zoo, it's not too big. By the time we were done looking at ALL the animals, we were hungry.
MistyMichele, hi there. I have been around almost 2 months so I don't know you. I had all my intro info in my post to Pattie. Glad you're back and sorry about the tough times. Hope you stick around.
Penny, glad you had fun at the reunion and you stayed OP. Don't worry about that splurge, you expected it last night and didn't do it, so tonight shouldn't matter. Just the one splurge keeps us sane. Of course for me, after one comes another and another and another...
Michelle, ranch chicken sounds great. I actually haven't ever had it and I don't know why. You know I was thinking about doing Atkins up until my weekend escape to try to lose more, but I'm just so afraid I can't do it. If I could I would probably drop another 20 lbs or so and then when I come back from the getaway I could slowly scoot back into this calorie thing. What do you think? Should I even if I can't totally trust myself? The last time I did it, there weren't near the things they have now for low carbers so I might find it alittle easier. I just hate the no fruit thing.
Melinda, I think swimming is DEFINITELY considered strenuous exercise. That's alot of work and they say it works EVERY muscle, so I'd count it.
Well, I'm fixing to watch Matchstick Men. I'll check in in the morning. But quickly, does anyone here like fashion? I love fashion and popular trends and so on, but I'm really stuck and was wanting to get some advice so if anyone of you are really into it, let me know and maybe I'll PM you. Anyway, everyone have a great night.
05-15-2004, 10:39 PM
Penny I'm sure you will be fine with your weigh in tomorrow :) I will weigh as soon as I get up tomorrow! :)
Crystal I'm not on Atkins anymore and actually I don't know if you would like it, it is REALLY restrictive outside of meats lol I would go with the South Beach diet if anything it is sooo well rounded I'm sure you would love it AND you don't even need to count calories :) Cuz you probably would only get about 1200 in in a day because of all the veggies you eat you keep pretty full!! I eat TONS of vegetables every day lol I had to eat 4 cups of veggies for dinner!! My dinners tend to be bigger so I can pack calories in because I get so busy during the day I don't get much of a chance to eat so sometimes I can go all day without eating until dinner time but I'm trying to break that habit :)
Well I'm gonna lounge around for a bit!!!
05-15-2004, 11:06 PM
Good evening, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Welcome pattie, welcome back Misty. i remember you. Talk to everyone soon.
05-15-2004, 11:59 PM
Good evening all!
Well I tried really hard to get myself in bed by 10 pm tonight, and as you can see it didn't happen. lol.
MISTY!!!!!!! I am sooo glad you are back with us!!! Ginny and Jackie are with us too so you will feel right at home! :) Wow, is Baylan 6 mos old already? Time flies huh? Tanner will be 11 months old on the 24th! Can you believe that? He started walking at 9 1/2 months and is doing really good. And I will email you a bunch of pictures but I want some of baylan too! :) 138 lbs sounds fantastic for not being on any specific plan! You will get that weight off in no time. And I will email you some info on WW and I'll check out ebay for you soon, ok? And no we ended up not moving afterall. Decided to buy a new van for our growing family instead of another house. Just doing some work on this one to make it more of our own. And yes I LOVE WW! It has fit into my life so perfectly. It took me 7 months to reach my goal weight but that is ok... I have become a better cook from it for sure. And yes my weight loss slowed way down a few months ago. But I did ok with that. Just took it one day at a time. I lose about 2.5 lbs a month now, so that isn't much but it works for me. I still need to lose inches though. I am so glad you are back with us! Can't wait to catch up with you again!
Crystal, I don't really know any ways to handle temptations away from home except for plan for it. If you are going out to eat get online and check out that restaurants menu and plan ahead what you will order or eat a small snack before you leave so your grumbling tummy won't talk you into bad choices, lol. And drink lots of water to curb that appetite. Remember that we are on that journey and there will be rocks in the road so don't beat yourself up for stumbling every now and then. Just don't let one bad night turn into 2 or more. That must be small zoo to get through in 2 hours. The one we went to was small (smaller than I am used to) and we walked for 5 hours and still didn't see it all. And I think you should steer clear of atkins. Just because you sounded like you really didn't want to do it and you'd miss certain foods. Don't set yourself up for a fall you know? You are doing fine with counting cals, just hang in there... the weight will come off! You'll have to let me know how that movie was. And I LOVE fashion but can't afford most of it. But I like to think I dress trendy and modern. lol. As modern as you can get with cheeto smear on your jeans from sticky fingers, lol.
Penny, drink extra water tonight and you may not see a gain from your dinner... but if you do you know what it is from and it will quickly be gone. Good luck! And spaghetti squash is different from the regular squash. It is a soft yellow color and big and oblong. You half it and steam it and then you use a fork to create spaghetti strands and you can use it like pasta! But the taste is just like yello squash (to me anyway) It was very good tonight smothered with the chicken and sun dried tomato alfredo sauce.
Melinda, how did JW enjoy the pool? Sounds like so much fun. I can't wait until it gets warm enough take Tanner. He loves the water.
Michelle, your dinner sounds so great! I love ranch chicken.
Well, I need to get in bed. TTYL!
05-16-2004, 12:04 AM
How are you doing woman? Hope you had a great weekend!
Michelle and I are both on South Beach. I had a rocky start in the beginning with it but now I am doing awesome and love it! I am ok with it now that I started Phase II. I still have bread, oatmeal and pasta or rice in moderations and it is all brown or wheat or whole wheat. I have absoutely no cravings for the bad foods anymore.
My hubby brought in donuts yesterday and today for breakfast and I have no desire to eat them! I am not having any cravings for anything and actually feel bad if I do eat something bad.
Hope you find something that works for you! I do know that it has helped me alot to change my weigh in day to the weekend. It used to be on Thursday so after that I would get whatever I wanted over the weekend and start over on Monday but 4/7 days on plan doesn't cut it..... Now that it is on Sunday I don't want to get anything bad b/c one I don't really have the desire anymore and two b/c I don't want to screw up my weigh in.
Have a great night! I am off to bed for real this time!
05-16-2004, 02:43 AM
Penny, Spryng, and Michelle: Thank you girls so much for putting in your two sense. I think I took alittle from what all of you said and hopefully I can use that as needed. Thanks again for responding.
05-16-2004, 08:10 AM
Okay, I'm barely getting around today because I decided to sleep in. Ever once in a while on Sunday I will do that. I just got up and my coffee is brewing. So I'll be awake later.
Okay my coffee is ready...I'm working on the first cup.
I hope everyone had a good night, mine was only soso.
Spryng, I liked Matchstick Men. Alittle wierd, but Nic Cage did great.
I'm staying home today. I'm gonna get some laundry done, make a menu and grocery list and maybe take a nap. I just want to take it easy. This evening I'll work out in the garden.
What's everyone else doing today? I'll check in later.
05-16-2004, 08:12 AM
Good morning! My mother returns to FL today, so I should return to my normal posting after that.
Michelle - she gave me the Nuvoring to try for two months and, if I don't like it, we'll try something else. Interesting that it made you gain. My body is very strange and I am very affected by birth control hormones. I was taking the mini-pill (progesterone only) and that was okay, so I'm waiting to see how I do with this one. My midwife said it has a low dose of hormone, so maybe I'll be okay with it.
Hi, Pattie! Welcome! I'm mother to one six-month-old son named Liam and wife to a wonderful DH named Jonathan. Oh, and I have a fur-baby - a doggie named Duncan:lol: Hmm . . . have you asked the Jenny Craig people about the loss rate? Maybe that's normal for their program, but I do understand your frustration. On the other hand, I think they say slower loss is better in the long run for maintainance. I just switched to Weight Watchers and will begin it this week (as soon as my kit arrives from them).
Crystal - Hi! Well, at least DH is willing to do something if he so chooses - it seems like birth control tends to fall on the shoulders of women. So, would you like more children? I do at some point, but want to give my body a chance to recover from the c-section and all. Also, I'm freaked out that I had pre-eclampsia and am trying to figure out how likely that is to happen again. Do you enjoy being pregnant? I love being pregnant - I felt better pregnant than I've ever felt in my life!:D Glad you enjoyed the zoo. As for outside temptations - is there a way you can bring healthy snacks with you so you're less tempted?
Spryng - the nuvaring (I haven't read far enough down to know if Michelle answered this, so sorry if I repeat) is inserted once a month - you insert it yourself. Then you take it out on day 21 -they give you an alarm clock thing that goes off on day 21, get your period and put another ring in within five days of your period starting. But, like the patch, you only have to think about it once a month essentially. HTH! I've never tried the spagetti squash, but have seen it. Now that you say it's good, maybe I'll try it!
Penny - glad you enjoyed the reunion! How awesome that you didn't even try any of the less healthy foods there.
Hi, Misty! Nice to meet you. I have a six-and-a half-moth-old - born in October! I'm also trying to lose my post-pregnancy weight . . . 30 lbs! I just bought a WW intro kit on ebay - so we could do it together along with Sarah (I think it's Sarah who will be starting WW too).
Melinda - how did JW like swimming? Liam loves the water.
05-16-2004, 08:32 AM
Well I've decided that if I post more often I have to take less notes.
Leigh, no I do not want to bre pregnant. I hate being pregnant, big time. I know though, that it's up to God, if I have anymore. But I do not plan on it. I'm totally happy with my 3.
05-16-2004, 09:02 AM
Good Morning Ladies!
Glad things are going to get back to regular again. :) Did your mom and Liam have a great time? Hope you are doing well with your eating and let us know how it is going!
Good for you, to take it easy today! You deserve it!!! Hope you have a nice time gardening this evening! Gardening is one of my "things" and I tell ya it is quite a workout in itself!
As for me, Drum Roll Please!!!!.........
I am down 3 pounds for the week!!! WOO HOO!!!!
Have a great day! I am going to try to spend some time with the family today and hopefully even dh :o :)
Have a Beautiful Sunday!
05-16-2004, 09:29 AM
Good morning all!
Penny, Congrats!!!!!! on the 3# gone!!! That is fantastic!!! Keep up the good work.
Leigh, I am with you on being pregnant. I love it too. My body is made for having tons of kids. I have great pregnancies, always go to my due date and easy deliveries. I know I will miss it for sure. Do you want anymore kids? That Nuvaring sounds very interesting! Only have to deal with it once a month. It wouldn't work for me because I don't even like tampons, lol. But I'm glad you found something! Did you have a nice visit with your mom?
Crystal, sounds like you have a relaxing day planned. I'll be doing some of the same. Just got one load of laundry to fold and put away and some odds and ends to do. I'll finish up my kitchen today since tomorrow we start a new zone.
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful sunday! What is for dinner? I think I'm making chipotle black bean chili and corn bread. New recipe for me. TTYL!!
05-16-2004, 10:53 AM
OMG it's going to take a week to catch up with your posts! Just popped on to say hi and the party was great!! I'll post pictures sometime soon and promise to go back and read everything. Just finished my 4 mi walk and have to hit the shower. Hope everyone is doing well!!
05-16-2004, 11:20 AM
Crystal - hate being pregnant, eh? Well, then maybe you'll be blessed with only these three to raise.
Penny - CONGRATULATIONS! 3lbs??? Amazing job :)
yes, my mother really enjoys Liam - he's a good distraction for her.
Spryng - I'm coming over again for dinner  Your meals always sound great. I love Tex-Mex, especially corn bread! Yes, had a nice visit with my mother and DH and I got to go to a party last night just the two of us.
Geri - can't wait to see the pictures. How was the walk???
05-16-2004, 12:01 PM
Good Morning Ladies!!!
How does this beautiful Sunday Morning find you all? Well I had my WI today and I maintained. I think I woulda had a loss except it took me two days to get the last pound of my horrid gain off! But I'm not disappointed. Normally I wait until I pee to weigh, but I didn't but I'll post my weight again if there is any change after I do lol. Me and my obsessions! Anyway nothing big planned today gonna clean carpets and straighten up the basement up some more. I plan on doing a 6 mile walk today wish me goodluck on that lol I'm going to do the 3 mile walk back to back! I'm also going to add some crunches and some weight resistance bands and build some muscle in these flabby arms ;) Even though I didn't have a loss this week I feel pretty good. At least it wasn't a gain.
Penny - Congrats on the 3lb down!!!! I am so proud of you girl!! Keep up the good work! :jig: :cheer: :cb: :goodscale:
Leigh - so how do you like the nuvaring? I loved it except, the weight gain which I've always been like that with birth control. I loveeeeddd being pregnant when I was pregnant with Taylor but not Teagan. With Teagan I was always in the hospital for dehydration cuz I would vomit at least 20 times a day, I lost 25 lbs in the beginning with her, finally they put me on just slimfast shakes cuz they are easier to absorb and I got better from there, I also spent my whole pregnancy and then 3 months after in bed on bedrest my bloodpressure skyrocketed and on top of that I had other problems that were not pregnancy related so I don't want another baby after that, and me and hubby decided that if sometime down the road we decide we want another child, we will adopt :)
Crystal - Crystal I hope you have a wonderful day!!
Well I need to get going so we can get to wal-mart and get a new carpet cleaner because my mom broke ours. Have a great day girls, I'll post a bit later.
05-16-2004, 03:26 PM
Hi there girls.
Penny, Congrats darling. We are so proud of you. I've got the South Beach book that I've never read just skimmed and you've got me interested in going back and reading it. WTG!!!
Well girls, my plans changed today. I was going to stay home and not much of anything but dh went golfing, then fishing and I thought you know me and the kids stay home 4 out of 5 days and do the same o stuff all the time and the day is just gorgeous so I decided to head up to the mall.
Me and all three kids got there before the main mall was open. Sears was open which is where I wanted to go anyway. So we went and got Alisa a sun dress, Ally a capri set and Andrew two short sets. Ally got some sandals and Andrew did too. I got two new outfits and I'll get into that in a sec. Anyway we headed out to the main mall area where some of the stores were just now opening and we all needed to potty so we went up to the food court and pottied and had lunch. I had subway, yum!!!, the kids had McD's. You all should be so proud of me. I had a subway club, no cheese and I don't like mayo I had mustard. I had baked lays and a diet pepsi. I may have had about 3 french fries. I was so proud of me. This was the most difficult part of the day eating. The stroller was back heavy and Andrew was sitting in a big chair, so for the stroller to not tip over I had to keep one foot on it and the other foot on Andrew's chair so he wouldn't tip that over. We don't go to the mall almost never, in fact that's the first time since I think November for Christmas pictures. So we had so much fun.
Okay onto the new outfits. Spryng this is what I was going to talk to you about. I'm bland, I like black, grey and brown clothes. I have some colors and I like denim. But I've been trying to learn to spread my wings. I've always been told I look good in corals. I read yesterday from a style consultant, if someone tells you you look good in a certain color, go out and buy more. So I bought raspberry capris and a capped sleeve shirt with white, raspberry, pink and orange stripes. And I did get khaki capris but with a coral little t-shirt. Then I got white sandals. I never ever get white shoes. All my shoes are brown or black. So I got all these clothes one size smaller and I didn't try them on because I had the kids so when we got home I tried them on and.................... they all fit, BUT, are still just a tad snug for public. But they all pulled up and zipped and buttoned w/o a problem. So I'm thinking about 10 lbs. and they should fit well. So that is much motivation. I WILL be in those by my trip which is in 6 weeks. I will work as hard as I need to to make that happen. But I'm just so proud that they fit as well as they do. So you all know, they are 16's. I've been in 18/20 and now I'm getting down to 16's. Any size difference is a HUGE success. The problem for me is that I've done this many times before, I even got down to a 14 before I got pregnant with Andrew and everytime I gain it back, but not this time.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my ordeal with you all. We did have fun though and the kids were great.
I'll check in later.

I wanted to share with everyone what I was eating for dinner. I grilled out chicken breast, grilled out whole potatoes which I only dressed with Molly McButter and a tad bit of ff cheese, and I grilled out packets of squash and zucchini seasoned. I have no idea how many calories, I'll try to figure it out if I can. I've only had an apple and some of a fresh orange. So I think I've done good. Haven't had hardly any water and I gardened for a bit. Dh isn't home and I don't know when he will be so I don't know if I can exercise or not.
Anyway, what are all of you having for dinner???

Leigh - I had pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) when pregnant with Teagan, but its supposed to go away after delivery but mine hasn't. I was induced with Teagan in my 38th week, at midnight on a sunday and by 9 pm the following day I wasnt progressing but was having strong contractions, they had the pitocin up as high as she was comfortable with. oh before that, they had a hard time getting Teagans heartbeat so she broke my water and attached an internal monitor to her head. Then I just wasnt progressing, and so we thought I would wait it out a little longer, so I had my intrathecal (a type of epidural) and I walked around and swayed etc etc.. and nothing and the meds wore off 2.5 hours later and so they said I couldnt have another intrathecal so I had to breathe through the contractions, then doc said that they were concerned that the cord was wrapped around the babys neck and thats why I wasnt progressing so she wanted to do a c-section, they stopped the pit and contractions subsided almost immediately, they took me to get the epidural and I screamed the whole way through because my back is soo messed up from a fall down the stairs at the beginning of my pregnancy, any way finally they get the epi done and I'm numb and I just start vomiting the whole way through the delivery I was so busy being sick that I didnt even know teagan had been delivered until I heard her cry lol actually I didnt even know they had started lol. My average bp while preg was 165/100 so I stayed on bedrest the whole pregnancy and then for a few months after lol. Oh geez sorry I got carried away guys lol, I just got to talking and couldnt stop myself. But anyway yeah I had the PIH but I think pre-Eclampsia is more severe but I could be wrong. I had an ultrasound every 2 weeks and saw the doc once a week for the whole pregnancy I'm sure they are sick of me ;)
Anyway lol Taylor and I did some sponge painting today it was fun! I even painted Teagans feet and made footprints oohhh soo cute! Well its getting late and I haven't made dinner yet so I guess I'll talk to you all later.
sorry for rambling on and on lol

Wow, Michelle! I'm sorry you had such a hard time :( I think pre-eclampsia is another term for PIH, but mine wasn't as severe as yours. Mine came on at the very end of my pregnancy, but spiraled downward very quickly. My bloodpressure was all over the place, and they admitted me to the hospital with the intention of inducing labor. But, Liam stopped moving so it quickly became a c-section. It wasn't at all what I had envisioned (of course!). I felt really sad and guilty about it - as though I could have done anything to prevent that. But I'm still sad that they had to rush Liam off for observation (he swallowed amniotic fluid from the stress) and I couldn't hold him until 2 hours later. But it sounds like you had a truly scary time - I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Michelle - You are a wonder mom! I am so glad you are here with us today. I think it is probably a good idea for you to adopt, if you want anymore. I would love to get a little girl from Vietnam, my mom is from there. Preg was pretty easy for me, had an emergency c-section. The cord was around his neck and dh did not get to see him. But even labor was not as painful as I thought it would be. Oh, back to weight loss. I have a hard time eating throughout the day as well. I end of eating too much at night and feeling yuck. With the summer coming it will be easier to get fresh fruits, so hopefully that will help.
Leigh - JW loves the water, we got it on video! We went back today. MIL/FIL are going to be sick of us by the end of the summer. I don't feel comfortable taking him alone, so we won't be there everyday. But it looks like he has my skin coloring, I lathered him with sunscreen and he got a cute little tan.
Pattie - How is Jenny Craig's program? Do you have to buy the foods? I am on LA Weight Loss and I use there bars, but due to nursing I am not forced to buy all the other supplements. Hope it is working for you. Good Luck!
Penny - Congrats on giving away the 3 pounds. I hope some of it is due to weaning, at least I will think that to keep up my motivation. I am down to two feedings a day. He does not seem to mind.
Crystal - Great plan on buying the smaller sizes it is such a good feeling. The last couple of weeks, I have gotten into some of my old church dresses. Still a little snug in the chest, but at least I have an excuse for that.
I will be working tomorrow. Have a great day ladies. Monday's must be the busiest day on here, takes me a while to catch up.
