Meatloaf! Phase 1-2

This is a little tricky, but completely worth it.

1-1.5 lbs. lean ground turkey
1 package of onion soup mix (very trickey, as most have corn starch, but there is a natural variety at my super market that does not. You could also use beef boulion (again, no starch variety) and dried onion flakes)
1 mini whole wheat pita toasted and crumbled (Omit this if on Phase I, and maybe beef up the onions a bit)
2 Tbs of Tomoto paste (or natural ketchup)
1 splenda packet (only if using tomoto paste)
1 egg
(Optional glaze see below)

Mix everything together, put it in a loaf pan and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. You can use a mini loaf pan, as well, which helps with serving management.

Glaze-
I will sometimes cheat and use real brown sugar because it's SOOOOO good....

1/2 c. Brown SugarTwin
2 Tbs. Ketchup
2 Tbs. Mustard (Yellow, Dijon, whatever)

Mix it up and microwave it for 10 seconds to smooth out the consistency. Pour over meatloaf before cooking and HELLO moist meatloaf!! Let me know what you think and your variations!
