Have a great OP day!!

05-12-2004, 08:28 AM
Good Morning:

Sherry; What a great welcome picture!! I was posting when you started a new thread... I lost it, but it was a short one so I think I can remember what I said...

Thanks for all the prayers for my mom & dad. It means a lot to me.

Gayle: I am sending out prayers for your friend as well.....

Gayle, maybe you and I can try this staying OP thing together... What do you say.....

This will be day 1 for me AGAIN....!!! :goodvibes I am sending good vibes to both of us that we can do this.. ONE DAY AT A TIME..

Shelley: I am going to try journaling also. I was doing it but when I ate bad, I didn't do it those days.. Who did I think I was kidding.. :dunno:

I have to go, but I will be back tonight to let you know how I did today!! Wish me luck..

05-12-2004, 02:16 PM
Carol sorry for not responding to you and asking how your mom was doing with her treatments. I have a running prayer list and your parents are on it. My mom went through chemo and radiation too. Her treatments were finished last July. I know it is tough. They go through a lot. Today you will stay on program. I am sending you good vibes.

Shelley I have researched my meds and apparently when you go off of them you have to decrease the meds slowly. You do get addicted to them. I know that I get stoned from the meds. That is why so many spelling mistakes and I forget everything. So how much is Mike on?

Wanda if you are back...I can't see you.....where are you hiding?

Doni good to hear from you.

Sherry I love your welcoming door. It makes me feel comfor and welcomed here. You are the greatest! Are you anxious to move or dreading all the work? You bbetter tell that son of your to pack a winter parka and boots. Is he planning on ice fishing?

Gayle I showed a friend of mine the card you sent me this morning. She just loved it. So do I. I am so lucky to have you as my friend.

Ramona I hope that everything has improved. My heart goes out to you.

Debbie are you anxious to finish up school and hang out at the pool? You will enjoy it so much. I find it is great to entertain around and so refreshing on a hot day.

Cheryl I think you are the one that asked about the SNOW. It is unusual that it has snowed snow much. We broke a record. It is still snowing. We seldom get snow in May. It looks so funny because some of our leaves are openning and the branches are loaded with snow.

For Mother's Day I got from Larry tickets to an Elvis Impersonator, 2 sets of pj's since I live in them all day now, a frog for my garden. From Dez I have a spa day at her school. I can pick anything that they do and it is on her tab. I will probably have a pedicure, manicure and scalp treatment with a cut. Jay and his girlfriend stripped the wall paper off my bedroom this weekend when I was gone. They will help Larry paint it.
I am the spoiled Goddess Princess.

Lunch time I have to run and warm up some soup.

Love you all.

05-12-2004, 03:55 PM
Dee, you seem to be in better spirits today. Thank you for the nice comments regarding the card. Actually, I was just playing around with different mediums and came up with that one. I can see several "boo-boo's" on it.

Shelley, I would listen to the lady and go from there. If your daughters are like their mother, I can think of nothing she could of said that would be grounds for such drastic actions. Some people make mountains out of molehills. If you don't agree with what the mom has to say, then tell her to go right back to her perfect little house with her perfect little child and let you raise your kids as you see fit. :-)

05-12-2004, 07:14 PM
Hi everyone...remember me..LOL

It took me awhile to read and catch up with everyone's post. My thoughts and prayers go out for everyone who has sick friends and family.

Dee....Sorry you are still in so much pain. Your trip to the states sounds wonderful. Glad you had a good Mother's Day.

Gayle...I'll be praying for your friend. How is your other friend doing, the one that had the weight-loss surgery? I bet your little bird is precious!!

Carol...Please don't give up!! I have faith in you!! We can do this together! Just think you have kept off a lot of your weight, even though you have gained some back. I'm sure it will click with you again soon!!

Ramona.....I know this is a trying time for you but just know that we all love you and wish there was something we could do. Please take care of Ramona!! {{HUGS}}

Sherry.....Is it over yet?? LOL Why is so hard closing school this year? Maybe it is hard every year and I just forget until it is here. Please take care of yourself, you have plenty of time to paint and move after school is out. Wish I could help!!

Shelley....Sorry it has took me so long to answer your question. I put in for a transfer and Sherry helped me type and word my resume'. It will be a promotion for me. It is for 3 small Elementary schools and one of them is Chadwell. Who said you can't ever go home again? LOL I gave middle school my best shot, but I'm really not cut out for that age kids. Keep your fingers crossed everyone,:crossed: that I get this new job. I will find out sometime in June.

Wanda.....Sorry I haven't send you the Pm I promised. My life is crazy!! Please post again, we all really, really do LOVE YA!!

My Mom has been going twice a week to have her blood drawn, so they could keep a check on the staff infection. Yesterday we got some bad news. The infection is growing again and she will have surgery next Wednesday for them to remove her artificial knee. They put a kind of "concrete" stuff in there for 6 to 8 weeks, to make sure all the infection is gone. THEN she will have to have another artificial knee put in. She has been fighting depression and I am really worried about her. We were all so hopeful that the medicine would take care of this. Please continue to pray for her. Thanks!!

Hugs to all my other Floozie friends that I didn't post personally to. Thinking of you and so glad I am part of such a wonderful group.

77 days down~~19 TO GO~

Okay, she brought over the complete conversation on IM, and Patty was quite mean. I think that her and Nicole got carried away and never would have said such things if they had been face to face with the girl. I have decided to cut off her IM for 1 week, and she had to write a letter of apology. I also found out that the Nicole is grounded from everything and everyone, not just Patty. Anyway, I feel much better about it now, since I know exactly what was said. It was just your normal cruel stuff that kids do to each other. Hopefully she will learn her lesson by not having IM for a week. She has been crying and trying to trade off for something else, like washing dishes, but I won't let her.

Debbie-I am still praying for your mom. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you that you get the job. But if you don't just remember that you have come a LONG way with the middle school job. I remember when you didn't think you would be able to get through the day with those kids!

Dee-Mike says he takes about 300 mg a day. Sometimes he has taken more, sometimes less depending on how much pain he is in. He says that he is allowed something like 316 a day, but sometimes the pain is so bad that he doubles it. I would say he IS addicted, wouldn't you???

05-13-2004, 08:33 AM
Morning ladies....I am here just been busy with Cara's pre graduation activities. Don't know if coming or going.
Sorry some of us are not feeling up to power and hope that turns around soon.
Wanda...woman so glad to see you back here and start posting more. We have missed you very much and need to catch up with you.

Well be back later the little darlings are coming in now. Boooooooooooo...lolololol

05-13-2004, 08:55 AM
Ok. I know you gals don't want to hear this from me AGAIN. But I blew it again yesterday...

Well now I think I have reached rock bottom. I was hard pressed to find something to wear this morning that I could get hooked. I have refused to buy anything in a bigger size soooooooooooooooo

This is the point of no return. I MUST STAY OP!!!

Oh lord give me strength to make it through one day... This foodaholic is needing a little heavenly intervention.

05-13-2004, 10:52 AM
Hello my friends. I just scanned the posts and wanted to let you know I'm still around. My mom had a really good weekend (which really confused us) and then on Monday everything started going down hill. We were told by the Hospice nurse that this is quite normal to have a peak before the fall. I was called home from work yesterday by the nurse. Mom was asking for Dan and then she would sleep fitfully. All night long it was very heavy rapid breathing followed by no breathing at all and then she would shake her head "no" and start all over again. The nurse said she may be waiting for my brother to get back home from Nashville. He will be back tomorrow night. We have been riding a roller coaster of emotions for days now and it is beginning to take a toll on all of us.

In the last two months I have gained 15 pounds. It seems all we do is eat all night. The ladies from church have been bringing food for us so we don't have to cook. Last weekend we had 2 fresh strawberry pies, a coconut cream pie, a chocolate cake, strawberry bread, apricot bread, and apricot fried pies. That was in addition to the casseroles. All of this food for my dad, myself and Rick! I try to freeze what I can, but I tell you I haven't eaten this much sugar in my entire life!

I'm sorry I haven't posted to each of you. Vicki, Debbie, Carol (I hope I didn't leave anyone out) I'm thinking of you and your mothers each day and hoping for the best for you all.

Dee, I pray that you will soon find some releif for your pain and be back to the old Dee.

Sherry, I know you are excited about moving to the "new" house. I hope you will be able to post some pictures.

Shelley, it sounds as if you handled the situation with your daughter in the best way you could. KIDS!

Gayle, I'm so sorry for your friend. I hope she will find peace. I can't wait to see a picture of Bosco.

Cheryl, congrats on the weightloss. You go girl.

I'm sorry I haven't mentioned everyone. I'm also sorry if this post doesn't make much sense. Take care everyone and I'll try to be back soon.

05-13-2004, 01:45 PM
Debbie I remember you. The chick that got this summer count down started and motivated a lot of us! I really hope that you get the job. Working somewhere you don't enjoy for 1/3 of your day is not good. I am sorry to hear about your mom. Can they put her on anti depressants before she gets really bad. I pray that her surgery goes well. Hang in there.

Gayle sorry I forgot to mention your friend with cancer yesterday. I am not with so please forgive me. I put her on my prayer list too. Gee it is a good thing I am layed up in bed most of the day, I have a lot of praying to do. How are you doing Gayle? Is everything ok? You aren't posting as much as you use too. I miss you.

Shelley I know from experience that kids can do some rotten things over IM. Kids do have a mean streak in them. I know that you hit the nail on the head when you took away IM from Patty. It is a direct consequence for what happenned and it means a lot to her because she wanted to trade it off for something else. I am sure she will learn a lesson from this. I find that it is hard at this age to pick a consquence that actually would teach them a lesson. Mike must be on a different type of morphine than I am because on my infor from the drug store they said that if you were to take over 150 mg it is leathal.

Vicki what kind of things do you do for pre grad? All we did was pick out a dress, shoes necklace, purse, and hat. Need to pick up nail polish yet and she will dye her hair a day or two before grad. They have a breakfast that Dez decided that she doesn't want to go to. The Commencement Ceremony is on June 25th, pictures in the park on the 29th with a dinner and dance following.

Sherry have you decided what colors you want in your new home? Are you sticking to the same color theme that you have now? When do you think that you will be moved in by?

Ramona it is so good to hear from you. I am sorry to hear that things are so stressful for you. Don't worry about gainning weight right now. We will help you with that when the times is right. I am here for you. If you want to email me and vent or cry or whatever I will be there. I remember you in my prayers every day.

Wanda were you teasing us and saying that you were back? So where are you?

Carol take it by the hour. How much do you really want to lose weight? Look at yourself in the mirror and sk yourself "Am I happy with myself to look this way?" When you go to reach for food think about the picture in the mirror and ask yourself do I think that eatting this is worth it?

Well it is snowing any more. We got about a foot of snow. On the weekend it will be in the 60's so it will melt. All I can say that is positive about this is we needed the moisture.

Have a good day everyone!

05-13-2004, 05:27 PM
Hope this joke cheers everyone up, it's too funny

This could happen to you.

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice From
the other stall saying:
"Hi, how are you?"

I'm not the type to start a conversation in the
restroom but I don't know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat
"Doin' just fine!"

And the other person says:
"So what are you up to?"

What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm
thinking this is too bizarre so I say:
"Uhhh, I'm like you, just traveling!"

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as
I can when I hear another question.
"Can I come over?"

Ok, this question is just too weird for me but I
figured I could just be
polite and end the conversation. I tell them ,
"No........I'm a little busy right now!!!"

Then I hear the person say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an
idiot in the other stall
who keeps answering all my questions!!!"

05-13-2004, 05:59 PM
OMG Debbie that is a good one. I am LMAO! We needed a good laugh.

05-13-2004, 06:50 PM
Oh Debbie!!! :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

That was a good one!!! I agree, we all needed a good laugh!!!

Thanks so much for sharing!!

05-13-2004, 08:20 PM
Debbie-That was a riot!!

Ramona-Please take care of yourself, don't worry about the weight right now, just like Dee says, we will help you when that time comes, right now just be with your family. I pray that your mom will go peacefully.

Dee-I wish you were feeling better! I miss your daily walks of miles and miles. Mike says that 150mg is lethal for most people, unless you are in excrutiating pain. That's why he goes to a pain management center.

Carol, Carol, Carol!! What can I do to help you? You are going through a lot too with your parents. If you are a stress eater, that might be why you can't get through the day right now OP.

Vicki-Good luck with all the grad preparations!

Sherry-Guess who was checking heads yesterday??? That's right. The clinic guy asked me to help him because he couldn't tell if the kids had them or not.

Gayle-I want to see Bosco!! Please post a picture whenever you can.

Jennelle, Wanda, Doni, Tina, Cheryl-Have a great evening!

05-13-2004, 08:37 PM
Dee. Cara had a senior parents dinner,a concert, honors day and a mass. Plus getting a big party setup for her and a few others that are graduating in the family.

Later my friends...Wanda you better post.

05-14-2004, 11:02 AM
I'm here Dee, just feeling overwhelmed with life. Still trying to hold classes, take care of stuff here with Steve gone, help out the parents, Hospice care, plus gathering stuff for a rummage sale this next week. I did get to paint yesterday, I painted a mailbox up for a friend getting married next week. Hopefully today, I can add the name. I'm working on my brush lettering technique.
I'm getting ready to go mow now, just as soon as it warms up, we had frost this morning. Then I need to setup for class tomorrow, plus my mommy wants her hair done. :-)

05-15-2004, 01:38 PM
This thread shows we are all busy Floozies!!

Hopefully we are busy with a few happy things this weekend. It is a rainy :rain: weekend here, not much to do but be lazy!! LOL

I hope everyone with sick loved one are coping and taking care of yourselves.

Hugs to everyone...deb

05-15-2004, 05:24 PM
Hey everybody, ran my race today and got a trophy for 2nd place in my age group! I have run 2 races and gotten 2 trophies!! Nobody needs to know how many females were in my age group!!LOL!! It was in the 80's at 8:00 this morning and very humid. I ended up doing a bit of walking too. Anyway, I finished 6.2 miles in 1:06, which is turtle speed, but who cares???

05-15-2004, 06:34 PM
Okay, Shelley, it probably would have taken me a day and a half to run 6 miles!

05-15-2004, 11:16 PM
Hello

I'm still alive!! If I don't post much in the next few weeks, please forgive me. I'm so busy working, painting and "STILL" moving boxes up to KY at Mom & Dads new house. I don't think we'll ever get that house cleared out!! It's 38 years of stuff!!!!! We have started painting the living room & dinning room though (in their old house, our new house). I picked out the color "Silver Pebble" and it's soooo pretty! I haven't decided on the bedrooms yet.

I figured by the end of May or the first of June, we should have ALL Mom & Dads stuff in Ky, the house painted, carpets cleaned and all moved in!! It's sure is a tiring and sore job. :( It's so much harded when you're trying to move & paint TWO families at the same time!!

Bad news: Late yesterday afternoon at my Parents new house in KY, Dad was on a ladder trying to cut a tree branch. He fell about 15 feet and broke his wrist!! His face looks HORRIBLE!! He cut & scraped it pretty bad on the side of the tree falling down.He is going to have surgery Tuesday am to have pins put in his wrist. He broke it in 4 places!!!!! We are all upset with him that he didn't wait for help. This 71 yr. old man acts like he's still 20!!! Now it's down to us to finish moving them.Mom has back problems and has done so much, she's about had it.

I think that 6.2 miles in 1:06 minutes is GREAT!!!! I would STILL be out there running!! LOL! WTG on 2 trophies!! You are awesome!!!!! :cp: I'm so proud of you!! When do the kids there get out? I can't wait!!! They are so wild!!!! Sorry I didn't comment on your neighbor.I was either too tired to post or just too busy. Please forgive me.I'm glad it all worked out.

THREE & 1/2 DAYS left for the kids!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!! (I have 6 days left). I'm so excited!! Aren't you???

Are you wearing your angel pin I gave you for luck? I'm keeping my fingers crossed :crossed: for you!!!!! :grouphug: I want to have you back at my school so much!! I really miss the fun we had!! With all this moving & painting we're doing, Your pool sounds more & more exciting!! I can't wait to make a BIG splash in it!!! BTW:Your Mom is in my prayers!!

You sound as busy as me!!!! We're going to have to make a "Gayle" & "Sherry" day so we can do nothing but rest!! You need to slow down girl!!!! My question is.....Why aren't we skinny???!!!!! Are you going to post a picture of your new friend the bird? How's my buddy Allison?

How are you my friend? I thought about you a lot today! How's your back? I wish so much you were well.I hate you being in pain.:( Still got snow? I told Chris about it and he said that he hopes it's gone by July when he goes on his fishing trip there!!!

How are you doing on WW? Did you get back to being OP? If you ever have any questions, please email me.It's really easy once you learn the points. Don't give up...I KNOW you can do it!!! How's your Mom & Dad? I've been saying a prayer for them.I'm so sorry you have to go through the worry and sadness to see them down and sick. Please know we're always here for you for anything!! Love ya!!

I know you're so proud of Cara!!! Tell her I'm proud of her too. I know you're going through a lot right now with graduation and all, so please post when you can. What is her plans now? College? Job?

Hey girl.I wish I could give you a big hug! I feel so bad that you are going through so much.I'm whinning about being tired from painting & moving and then I think of you and what you & your family are going through with your Mom and your boys. I bet you would change with me in a heart beat! Is she any better? Is she still not eating? Ramona, my heart really goes out to you and I want you to know that we're here for you and I love you!!!

Were you teasing us by posting??!! Come on back!! We want you here like old times!!! I noticed you were in MO now and not Ala!!! When did you move? Give us all the info!!!! I have missed you!!

I'm sure you're in Bransford right now. I hope you're having fun!! Post when you get home!!!

How's things going with you? I wanted you to see if you could lighten your picture up, send it back to me so I can post it...Ok?

Where are you????? I saw on the news where today was the strawberry festivible (sp) & parade. Did you go? Please post soon!!!!

I'll talk to you soon! Thanks for being my friend. I love you all.....

05-16-2004, 01:28 AM
Not enough time to post to everyone, but I wanted to tell Shelley how very proud I am of her!!!!! GREAT JOB SHELLEY! CONGRATS ON THE TROPHY! YOU ARE AWESOME!

Sher, give your dad a big ol' hug from me!

05-16-2004, 08:04 AM
Sherry-I'm sending prayers your way for your dad.
Our kids get out the 27th. I can't believe how quick this whole year has gone (except for these last few weeks!!) You are such an angel getting your parents house ready for them. My SIL, mom and I went riding around yesterday to see where a good place near to me would be for my parents. We've decided that 3 different areas, all in a 3 mile vicintity of me would be great for them. The only thing is, we don't know if they have anything available, not only affordable, but willing to wait until their house is sold. We want a condo villa type thing. There are a couple in one section that run about $175,000.00, which is about what they want to spend. We just don't know if there will be more available when they sell.

Debbie-I've got my fingers crossed for you!! :crossed: I hope you get the job at your old school. But like I said before, you have adjusted so well at the one you are at. When will you know something???

Jennelle-Will you be taking any classes over the summer? I know that many of our teachers are required to attend summer training.

Carol-How are you doing, kid?? I'm getting lonely over at the challenge thread. Come on over even if you haven't been completely OP. I also thought you were going to join in the walking/running/exercise thread. Come on over!!

Dee-I miss hearing from you so much! I hope you feel better soon, my wonderful friend!

Tina-Where are you??? Did you happen to see the statue I sold? I had an afghan hound statue that had a $25.00 reserve on it, and I sold it for $355.00!! Turns out, it is by a very well known artist. I've had it for 20 years.

Gayle-You must be very busy with your classes. I hope you are bringing in mucho money!

Ramona-What is going on? We haven't heard from you. Please let us know about your mom. Remember we love you and are sending tons of prayers to you and yours.

Vicki-I have 2 years left before I have to worry about graduation. I'm sure the time will fly. You must be very busy. Becky got her class ring the other day. She was invited to the ring ceremony at school, but had to work that night. Would you believe that everyone that was there gets their cap and gown rental for free when they are seniors, but not the other people that couldn't come. I really don't think that's fair. We paid $400.00 for her ring, and we should be able to get the rental free also. It will run $60.00 for the night when the time comes.

Doni-Don't be a stranger. How is everything??

Cheryl-Where is Bransford, anyway?? We have a strawberry festival in Plant City, but I don't know when that is.

I finally lost some weight this week! I am down 2 lbs. I still have 2 more to go to meet my goal for the challenge. I really want one of those chicks, and I've decided I want to wait until I've lost these 5 lbs.!

05-16-2004, 12:10 PM
Shelley - I don't have to take any classes this summer because I already have enough CEU's (continuing education credits) to renew my license. We need something like 10 CEU's every five years, and I already have 15 or 16. I was planning on going to a special ed conference the first two days in June, but my mom is coming to visit on the 3rd so I think I might cancel my spot. I also am going to a four day seminar on National Board certification. I have decided to go ahead and pursue national certification, even though I doubt that I will get it the first time around. I am just looking forward to the mentor teacher they give you! :)

05-16-2004, 12:54 PM
Shelley...Congrats on the trophy and running. I think if i ran i would definitely hurt myself. Cara's cap and gown were free also and she has her bacalaurete(think that's how it is spelled) Tues. nite. I don't remember having this much stuff to do when i graduated course that long ago................lololol

Sherry ...Sorry to hear your father fell and broke his wrist. I swear he sounds like something my dad would do, they think they are still young enough to do something like that. My dad will be 80 on the 21st of this month. He is adjusting to just moving into a retirement village and mom moves the first of June...

Well Cara is staring me down so that must mean she needs something so catch you all later tonite.

05-16-2004, 07:10 PM
Elizabeth had to buy her cap and gown and I believe it ran around $100.00. Her grad announcements were priced way up there too. I never expected graduation to cost as much as it did. I feel for you guys with graduating kids this year!

Jennelle, I had a thought....scary, huh? Could you use all of us on the thread as a class project next year? We could all send info about the city and state we live in. Also, if you gave us a head count, maybe we could even include something small for each child, such as a postcard or inexpensive item. What do you think? I'm willing to participate if the other girls are.

05-17-2004, 06:13 AM
Gayle-That sounds like a great idea to me!

05-17-2004, 06:55 PM
Gayle, that is so sweet! Yes, I would love it! Now, about the gifts...keep in mind that I have two sections that I teach and there is a good chance that I will have a total of 60 kids next year.

We'll talk more about it as the time gets closer. :D

05-17-2004, 10:54 PM
Wow everyone is so busy right now.

Shelley: Congrats on the tropies!! Your a winner in my book no matter how long it takes to run a race. Just crossing the finish line is a major thing!! I am proud of you.

Sherry: I am sorry for your Dad's broken wrist. I hope he will be good as new in no time. You have so much going on with all the moving, painting & school. You are going to be one skinny girl with all that work you are doing... You can't possibly have time to eat!!! Just remember to stop and take a deep breath from time to time to keep you going!! Love you!

Debbie: I wish you so much luck in getting your hopes and dreams. No matter what they might be. If going back to your old school is what you want than that is what I want for you. So I am rooting for you girl!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Gayle: Wow, you busy little bee. How do you get it all done and with a new bird in the house too!!! That's a great idea you have for Jennelle. Sounds wonderful. You are such a creative and talented person. My hats off to you!!

Jennelle: You might surprise yourself and pass that National Board Certification the first time. I have faith in you!!

Vicki: Try to have a little fun with the graduation for Cara. Try not work so hard at it. She only graduates once. I am sure you are going to make it memorable!!

Tina: They have a strawberry festival need us too. It is in June. It is always a lot of fun.

Cheryl: Hope you are having a good time on vacation. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Ramona: Haven't heard from you in a bit. I prayer for your family and especially your mom daily. Take care of yourself and post when you can.

Dee: How is your pain. Are you feeling any better? What is happening?

Dona: Where are you?

I went Saturday and had a colonoscopy done. With mom having colon cancer and since I am over 50 (you should have one done when you turn 50), I knew I needed to have one done, so I bit the bullet and did it on Saturday morning. The worst part was the preparation. Man you sit in the bathroom all night getting yourself all cleaned out!!!

The test went great, I don't remember it. They gave me a drug that put me out and gave me a kind of amnesia for 3/4 of the day. I don't remember too much and hubby Kevin said I kept asking him the say questions over and over because I couldn't remember I asked them already. :spin:

Anyway, got a great report. Not wrong with me. Not even a polp (sp??) to remove. I guess I was more worried than I thought I would be since Mom found her cancer.

So that is the latest and greatest on me. Hope everyone is having a great time with life!!! Live it up, we only have one Life!!!

Carol-Good for you! I have to do colonscopies every few years because of my colitis. You are right--the prep is the worst. I am so glad that you were clear!

Carol, I'm happy to hear you had a good report! Thank you so much for the kind words! How are your parents?

Shelley, Bosco is fitting in perfectly. A tiny bird with a huge personality. Do you still have Mr. Peeps?

Jennelle, I'm thinking along the line of taking some tiny plastic zip lock bags and putting a spoon or so of wheat in each one. I bet some kids do not know what a wheat berry looks like or that wheat is ground down to produce some of our food. The wheat would be coming right out of the field from the combine. Then finding some good articles about the old wild west days of our city history. I can photocopy all of that info off. If you think your interested, just let me know next school year!

Well graduation is this Sunday and then my dh will be out of school and into the real world. Thanks for the concern of working to hard on her graduation but haven't really done anything but go to these events that she has had the last several weeks. Plus getting her party ready but that has been a breeze. Just can't wait to have quiet time around here.

Remember tomorrow is No BUY Gas day.

Hi Girls:wave:

I posted a long one, then lost it. :( I don't have time to re-type it all right now. But thinking of all of you and hope things are going well.
My life is still busy as ever but it's going to SLOW down soon. :) Thursday is the last day of school. YIPPEE!! I have to work Friday and Monday to finish up my closing paperwork and turn everything in. Then hopefully some R & R for Debbie.
They changed Mom's surgery for Thursday morning. She seems to be coping pretty well, but she still has some crying spells. She is on an anti-depressant but guess it doesn't work all the time for her.
Hugs to all my Floozie friends...deb

83 days down~~13 to go!!
I've been thinking of a new count down when this one is finished. Guess what??

Just a quick post to say hello to everyone! The only time I've been on the computer is to check ebay. I am very upset, because I shipped out 17 statues UPS, and 5 were broken. I ended up refunding $40.00 to the lady who only paid $100. for all of them.

05-20-2004, 08:58 AM
Just a quick good morning, I am on my way out the door.

Shelley: I am so sorry for the ebay thing. I guess things do happen beyond our control. Have a great day and chin up!!

Gayle: Busy, busy lady. I am thinking of you.

I am like a roller coaster on staying OP, but today is another day. Trying again. I just can't quit trying now can I.

To everyone: HAVE A GREAT DAY. I love you all!! Hugs & prayers to those that need and deserve it.

Hello

Well today was the last day of school for the kids. They got out at 11:30. Our Principal let us leave early today. My last day is Monday!!!!!!!!! Only 2 days left for me!

I'm about to leave to go over and paint some more on the house. I just wanted to say hi...I'm alive and to start a new thread.

My thoughts and prayers are going out to everyone who is sick or has a loved one sick.

I miss and love you all. I'll be back to myself & posting again if I ever get a breathing moment.
