05-06-2004, 10:35 PM
Hello

This will be short because I'm so tired. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and it was a rough day at work. :(

We are not painting tonight. We'll finish up tomorrow night and move them in Sat. & Sun. Yes..We'll have to paint their old house before we move in.But we'll do a little a a time. We're both so tired.

Is there any way that you can change the shopping date with Dez for another time? I'm really worried about you and I'm afraid for you to travel with the pain you're in.What does Larry think? I'm sure Dez will understand. But I'm sure you know best.HUGS...and I love ya!

I can't even imagine how you feel with all that you're going through. How much more can you take? I agree with Shelley...Please take care of your Mom and keep us posted on the boys and don't worry about not posting to everyone. We all know you're going through a lot.Just know we care & love you!!

I don't blame you for being upset!! We try so hard to teach our kids right from wrong and then they have to experience something like this!!Do all you have to in order to nail this guy!!!!!!

The picture you sent is too dark. Will you try to lighten it up and send it back? Why was I thinking you have 2 kids?? You have a nice looking family!! :) Happy Anniversary!! May you & hubby have many, many more!!

I'm saying a prayer every night for that letter I typed for you!! Keep your fingers crossed! Remember...Good things come to those who wait!!!!! BTW: How's James' back? I forgot to ask you this a.m. Love ya!

I know too well how you feel!! Honestly I do!! My Sister & I had words 15 years ago and STILL haven't spoken! I hope it works out better for you.

Where are you????? Still staying OP? Are you trying WW?

Jennelle,Cheryl & Tina......Hello & HUGS!!!!

Gotta go....I'm so sleepy and I have so much to do!

05-07-2004, 01:16 AM
Sherry, I couldn't answer the poll. If money was no object, I would want ALL of me done!!!!!

05-07-2004, 02:51 AM
[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=7][COLOR=Indigo]Hi all!!! Its been a longgggggggg time n I've really missed ya! Boy the board has changed :dizzy: Don't know if I can figure this one out lol. Ok can I rejoin now that my life is sorta stable lol. What diet is everyone now doing????

05-07-2004, 06:43 AM
Wanda-Welcome back!! We've missed you--please join in. I am on WW with a few others, and some are on low-carb. The main thing is we all have this common bond--to try and stay healthy and help each other through all the stages of our lives that we are going through.

05-07-2004, 11:01 AM
Sherry--I have to agree with Gayle on your poll, although I did vote for my stomach. If money were no object, I'd have EVERYTHING done!!!

Dee--you are a beautiful woman! You look like I pictured you in my mind. I hope you're feeling better today. Have fun on you shopping trip with Dez. Sounds like she's a totally different person now than she was a year ago.

Shelley--your e-bay buying experience sucks! I'm always afraid something like that is going to happen to me. Of course, I'm cheap, and I've never spent that much money. I hope you're able to recover more that the $85.00 they're saying they can get for you!

Gayle--If Stewart and I aren't together next October can I still go cruising with y'all? I promise to behave :)

Vicki--Cara is just gorgeous!! I hope you can get things worked out with your sis. I missed the story, but I know how sibs can be!

Hey to Debbie, Titan Dee (hope you lurk every now and then), Jennelle, Carol, Tina, Wanda and Doni!

Oh, I've lost 4 pounds since dropping my caloric intake to 1600-1800/day.

05-07-2004, 12:52 PM
Cheryl, AWESOME JOB! I just checked out your milage, your really racking them up! I'm so happy you are starting to see a change in the scales too! YES, you can still go even if you and Stewart are not together, will need to give me permission to try to find you a young cabin boy to fill some of the "down" time.
I found a neat site that has a message board, everything is related to cruising, if you want the address, I'll send it to you.

Wanda, welcome back stranger! It would be easier for me to list the diets I have not tried! I am currently just watching my food intake, which tends to be more each day then I originally start out the day wanting. Since you have been here, it's been a vicious cycle for me. I gain, lose, gain more...

Shelley, everytime I look at your new picture, it makes me feel all "fuzzy". I can just see your energy and great personality just popping out! I really like it!

Dee, hop in that wheelchair and let Larry bulid up those muscles! You REALLY should not try to OVER-DO it right now! Remember, Dez needs you functioning for her graduation. BTW: Tell her I am very proud of her! I agree with Cheryl, she sounds like she's really getting it together. Any decision on schools yet?

Prayers go out to all of my Floozie friends suffering family problems, medical problems or the illness of a loved one. Know I am thinking of you and your family!

05-07-2004, 12:52 PM
Wanda...our long lost friend I am so glad to see you back here. Stay longer this time OK
Everyone sorry was so down the other day just frustrating when you really see the real person that you thought you knew. But they forget I am strong and I really don't need them in my life if they are going to be so fake.

Also glad that you guys are here and understand and probably have gone thru things like this.
I just get so exhausted with all the drama that goes on and it is so draining.
Again thanks for being my friends and that girl of mine sang last nite and was beautiful again.

Well kids are sleeping and Rumy is talking so going to go listen to his BS he is going to tell...

05-07-2004, 12:59 PM
Vickster, we were posting at the same time. I guess the old saying is true: we can pick our friends but not our family. I think most of us here have suffered at one time or another with a difficult relative.

Okay...just did the poll and voted for stomach. Sherry should of listed a complete over-haul! LOL! Who wants the boob job?

05-07-2004, 01:02 PM
Tee-hee! I didn't vote for the boob job, Gayle, but I'd definately take one! A reduction & stretch mark removal would be super duper!

Hey, since there are 3 of us signed on at once, we should go over to the chat room!!!

05-07-2004, 03:20 PM
I got the most beautiful card yesterday that I have ever recieved. Thank you Gayle! Gayle hand painted me a stunning pansy get well card, even the envelope had a hand painted leaf. When I seen your card Gayle I was so impressed that I looked to see if you had painted. Your tecnique (sp) has improved 100%. You have come a long way. It is great that you can share your talent by teaching others. One day I would love to learn how to paint with arcrilics. You can do so much more than water paints or charcoal. Thank yo agin. It meant a lot to me. You asked if I alway wear my hair up and how long it is. I wear my hair up about 50% of the time. My hair is about to my bra strap. So have you decided what cruise line you would like to go with? If there is some info that I can help you with just ask. Mom and Dad went with the smaller carnival ship and was very disappointed. Other people we know went with the bigger ships carnival has and were very happy. The other thing you asked about is a university for Dez. She is accepted at 3 different ones and has not choosen which one yet. She has come a long way since last year but still has a way to go.

Doni happy anniversary. I hope that you enjoyed your day. The years pass by so quickly.

Sherry why are you so tired? Is it because you have been helping your parents so much? You must have been tired last night, you called Dez, Liz.....sounds like me. I bet when you bought your first house this year you didn't think that you would be buying a second house the same year too. Congratulations! It must be nice to think that you will be living in your parents home. I know that you are concerned about me going away this weekend. I am concerned too. I will take it easy and let Larry push me around when I am out. I will also rest alot. I didn't want to change the date becuase of disappointing Dez. What we will do for our children.

Ramona I am praying for you and your family every day. My mind is fussy can you tell me again what is wrong with your mom. I know that she feel after your dad had surgery. Then what happenned?

Wanda wow your back. Welcome home! We missed you. Please post daily and let us know how you are doing.

Carol where did you go? We haven't heard from you for a few days. Is everything ok? It is ok if you fell off program just post and we will help you get back on.

Cheryl thank you for the compliment. So you imagined me looking like I do only after seeing my backside after all this time. lol Congratulations on $ pounds gone. You are doing great, keep up the exercise, it really helps. Do some for me. You are right, Dez is doing better. She still could put more effert into homework and organizing here life. She cleaned up quite a bit, we still have our tifts but this week she felt bad and bought me a bouquet of flowers. She is trying.

Shelley you never know how is safe to buy from from ebay. Jay took a chance on this guy selling dvd's and lost $250. My brother in law just bought a 5th wheel off ebay and it was in really bad shape. He lost $15,000. It is no good and too costly to repair. Got to be careful.

Debbie when is your pool openning? You never told me. Will the javex jugs work for you for weights?

Well my sitting time is up. I got to get going. Since we are leaving at 3:30 and I will be sitting 3 hours. Have a good weekend. Gayle make sure everyone behaves! I really shouldn't put you in charge I think you are the one we should be watching! lol

Here is a little intresting story for you. Robin Williams is in our city filming "The Big White" He has been really friendly and stopped in at a Junior Achievement night that was in his hotel. One of the students spotted him on the elevator and asked him if he would pop in and say "Hi" He visited with the students for an hour.

Well I better get off my butt.

Love you all.

05-07-2004, 03:22 PM
Sherry one more thing....I want to thank you for doing surveys again. I asked and I recieved. You put so much effort into this board for us. You are wonderful!

05-07-2004, 07:33 PM
Hello all. I am alive and well. I have just been super busy.

I am on day 4 now of staying OP!!! I can hardly wait until the weekend is over so I can weigh in on Monday!! I am doing WW this time around and it seems to be going pretty well for me. I love it!!

Sherry: I am amazed with all you do to keep us going. The wonderful pictures you post, the polls, the help you give us all when we are having problems posting pictures and posting late at night when you have to get up early. Then all the time you are devoting to your mom & dad right now. You are WONDER WOMAN!!! Seriously, thank you for all you do for us. I don't know how you keep it up, but I am so happy you are here to keep us all going!! Just remember to take time for you!! I love you!!

Dee: Please take care this weekend, but have fun too!!! Robin Williams.... how awesome!!!

Gayle: I admire your painting talent. I have often wished I could do that type of thing, but God did not bless me with that talent. I am glad you have it!!! Keep up the great job..

Debbie: I hope all is going well with your family. Your doing a super job staying OP!! {{[HUGS}}

Vicki: Boy can I relate to family problems! I have 4 sisters and 1 brother and we sure have many times we don't agree, but since Mom & Dad have been sick it has gotten worse. There is one or two of them I try to avoid as much as I can. I know that sounds bad, but sometimes you need to preserve your sanity the best way you know how. Hang in there!! We are here for you!! BTW - Beautiful Daughter!!!

Shelley: Sounds like your daughter really got a raw deal. I hope you can get more money back. There are so many good people out there but it only takes one bad apple to give the others a bad name. Isn't it a shame!!

Doni: Happy Anniversary!! Enjoy!!

Ramona: I don't know what to say. So here is a {{{{HUG}}}.. I hope this helps with all you are going through. My prayers for Ben, Dan, your mom and especially for you.

Cheryl: WOOHOO... Congratulations on your loss!!! You rock!!!

Tina: and Jennelle:.. Hello to you both. How are things going with you?

Wanda: Hello and welcome back!!

{{{{{{{{{{HUGE HUGSSSS}}}}}}}}}} TO ALL OF YOU!!!

05-08-2004, 09:56 AM
Morning Girls:wave:

It is a beautiful morning here in Pleaseant View. We have had a solar cover on our pool for 2 weeks and may even swim in it today. :) But the official opening will be Memorial Day weeekend. I'm excited!!

Sherry....Thanks so much for typing up my resume'. I should find out sometime in June if I got the promotion. Just thinking I may be leaving the middle school, has made it easier to close.

Ramona...My heart goes out to you!! Can't imagine how you feel with so much on you right now. Just know that we are here for you and love you. I wish there was something we could do to help you. {{HUGS}}

Carol...WTG on staying OP for 4 days!! :cp: I knew you could do it!! Watch out for the weekend trap though. The sugar monster hides everywhere!! LOL Good luck on your Monday weigh-in!! :crossed:

Dee....Please be careful this weekend and don't over do it. I'm sure Dez would have understood if you changed the plans, but maybe getting out of the house will help your spirits. I'm sure the 3 hour ride will be hard for you though.

Gayle....Will you post the link again where we can look at your most recent paintings. Have you painted any barns or old house lately?

Shelley....I hope your daughter gets her money back. Is she going to the prom this year? My niece is going tonight, they grow up way to fast.

Vicki...Sorry about the problems with your sister. Wouldn't it be nice to choose our family like we do our friends. Cara is beautiful, I know you are so proud of her.

Wanda....WELCOME BACK!! Of course you can rejoin us!! Silly girl! I have thought about you everyday and wondered how you were. I have even tried emailing you but it would always come back. I am going to PM you later today. Love ya!!

Doni...Hope you had a Happy Anniversary!! Did you and hubby go out a celebrate?

Cheryl: WTG!! on your loss!!! You are doing great!!

Jennelle.....Are you busy closing school like me? I'm getting excited about the summer.

got to run now...hope I didn't miss anyone.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

05-08-2004, 10:39 AM
Debbie-Please fill us in!! Are you leaving the school system, or trying to transfer????

05-08-2004, 10:59 AM
I have been struggling with my OA abstinence but am fine now. Food holds so many issues and keys and deep dark secrets for me...

Sherry, we have nine more days of school! :cb: Normally, I wouldn't have to do much - just weed out the stuff in my room that I don't need and box up the papers. (I like to keep students' work for a year after they leave, just in case any issues arise.) This summer, though, they're taking out the ratty indoor/outdoor carpet in my class (it was once a music room) and laying tile. I have a HUMONGOUS bookcase in my room that they will have to move, so I need to pack up everything in it.

For everyone else...if you have any children's books between 3rd and 7th grade level that your kids no longer read, please PM me. I would like to buy them from you. (Of course, if you'd like to make them a donation to my classroom library, I would be more than willing to pay for the shipping!)

Jennelle :)

05-09-2004, 10:45 AM

I read something the other day which is so true...
"If we are looking for it, we can find someone that needs mothering everyday" Strange but my Mom needs it from me today.

Hope everyone has a great day.

~74 DAYS DOWN~~22 to go~

05-09-2004, 12:08 PM
Hello

I just have time to welcome Wanda back with us (I sure have missed you!) I will post to you later. And...

To wish everyone a very happy Mother's Day!!! :D I love you all and I hope your day is extra special!! :grouphug:

05-09-2004, 05:24 PM
Happy Mother's Day to all of my Floozie friends!

I know it's unusually for me to post on Sunday, but I had to run to the office to do some mothering to the five kittens we're (I'm) taking care of here! There so cute!

Anyway, while I was here, wanted to drop in and say hey to all of you!

I hope it you're a mother you're properly appreciated today and everyday, and I hope that we who have our mothers show them all the love and appreciation they deserve (for giving birth to such wonderful gals as ourselves :D )

And, for those of you who are being mothers to your own mothers, or that only have memories to cherish, know that my heart goes out to you......

05-09-2004, 05:37 PM
happy, Happy Mothers Day To My Floozie Friends! Enjoy The Day!

05-09-2004, 05:45 PM
Cheryl, you posted such a beautiful message!

05-10-2004, 01:01 PM
yeee-gads!!!!!! Did all my floozie friends run away? I'm getting a new addition to our family, I'll post to you later with all the details!

05-10-2004, 01:15 PM
Larry believes that I have a VIRUS!!!! Anyone on my mailing list do not open an attatchment with the subject heading thank you. I never sent it so beware.

I just checked in for a few minutes to let you know.

05-10-2004, 03:50 PM
Where's everybody today!?

05-10-2004, 07:02 PM
Gayle-Are you getting another pooch, kitty or rodent??

05-11-2004, 06:28 AM
Wow, I woke up this morning, and nobody else has posted!! It's getting spooky in here!

You should see Becky's car. Mike did an absolute gorgeous job on it. I'll post a picture when it is completely finished. She is thrilled. I posted over at the challenge thread that I am very frustrated. Only 1 lb. in 3 weeks! I know that I am the first one to say it doesn't matter what the scale says, but gee whiz!! I want to show some poundage lost for my work!

05-11-2004, 09:50 AM
Shelley, you probably hae so much muscle, you won't show a huge loss on the scale. Can you tell a difference in how your clothees are fitting? You are an inspiration to me, so remember that on your down days.

My new baby is a parrotlet, the smallest species of parrot in the world. He is only about the size of an outdoor sparrow, but loaded with huge personality and attitude. He wants to be with us all the time, he's sitting here on my shoulder this morning. For such a little bird with big attitude, the name Bosco seemed fitting. ;-]

05-11-2004, 02:03 PM
Gayle--congratulations on the bird! My cat would probably really like it if I got a bird.... ;)

Shelley--What did Mike do to Becky's car? Is school finished for you yet?

Where is everyone? I miss you guys!

I lost 4 more lbs. at weigh-in this morning. I'm back to the weight I was when I originally joined 3FC back in '02. I'm glad. I was beginning to get pretty disgusted with myself. I had actually gotten up to 252 at one point and knew I HAD to DO SOMETHING!!! Anyway, I hope this downward trend lasts through my vacation next week....Mom and I are going to Branson for 2-3 days and I'm so excited!!

05-11-2004, 06:15 PM
Cheryl-WTG!!! You are doing absolutely fantastic!!

Gayle-Please post a pix of Bosco. If you need to know anything, let me know. Just remember to be careful and don't feed many sunflower seeds!!

Cheryl-School is not out for the kids until the 26th. Mike has been working on Becky's old Honda 1987 CRX to get it looking good. It needed lots of TLC, and he certainly has given it even though it was at the last minute!

The days at school seem to go on forever right now. I can't believe it's only Tuesday! Do all of you that work in schools feel the same way, now that summer is near?

05-11-2004, 06:15 PM
You are never going to guess what???? We are in the middle of a SNOW STORM!!! It was 86 here sunday and now it is snowing. It is going to continue til thursday. We have about 6 inches already. The only nice things I have to say about it is I won't have to water my flowers and I can stay in the house!

Cheryl you are doing great! Enjoy your time in Branson. Do lots of walking and you will do fine. Are you going to see any shows?

Gayle your a new mommy again! What color is he? I have seen some before and they are so cute!

Shelley your body fat is on the lower side now so it always take a lot longer to lose weight. Just keep doing what you are doing, the scale will move. You are doing the right things, like exercise and journaling. I know that it is discouraging when you work so hard and lose only one pound but I am sure that you would rather lose than gain that pound.

Sherry are you feeling ok? Where have you been. I hope that you are just busy with your mom and dad.

Ramona I pray for you and your family every day.

I enjoyed our trip down to the States. I shopped til I dropped and that didn't take to much but then Larry pushed me around in a wheel chair. I actually had less pain on the weekend than I have had in awhile. A lot of prayers must have gone my way. Please don't forget me now, today is a bad day and my morphine was even upped yesterday. When I went to see my doctor yesterday he noticed that I have nerve damage in my foot. I was wondering why I was always tripping on my foot and wrecking my shoes. He is going to send another letter to the surgeon and let him know that he is concerned of more permanent damage happenning. Maybe I will get to see the surgeon after all. I have been nauseated for the last few weeks. I can only tolerate so much morphine and that is it. They keep upping it and I feel sidker. The good news is I am losing weight. I have lost 10 pounds since March 1. Right on track for where I wanted to be with Debbie's summer count down. Thanks Debbie for inspiring me!

05-11-2004, 06:18 PM
Dee-How much morphine are you taking in a day? Mike takes the timed release type.

05-11-2004, 06:25 PM
Howdy

Where is everyone? Looks like I'm not the only one who's MIA! I've been so busy working everyday, painting, moving and going, going, going!! I'm really tired & sore and can't wait until it's all over!!

We got all of Mom & Dad's painting done and ALL of the big furniture in. All we have left is several small loads to move. With 40 years of accumulation, it takes forver!!

We are going to start painting & cleaning Mom & Dad's old house in the next week so hopefully we'll be moved in there by the end of the month.

WTG on the 4 lbs!!!! :cp: I know how happy you must be! Have a great time in Branson with your Mom!! Post when you get home and tell us all about the trip.

How do you feel? How's your back? Did you have any problems on the trip? Did you have a good time? Please post soon and let us know how you are.

I know how happy you are that the pool is opened and the deck is all done. Now you can lay around the pool & relax and enjoy all your hard work that was put into it. I'm so proud of you for still staying OP and working out!! You'll be one hot mama in the pool this year!! :D

I bet Becky's car looks great!! Hurry and post a picture!!! Don't worry about only loosing 1 lb. That's how I'm doing too. But I guess it's because we are working out so much that our fat is turning into muscle. I think you've done great and you give me so much motivation!!

I bet your little bird is so cute!! Can you post a picture of him sitting on Mom's shoulders? (Hint-Hint!) I've been meaning to ask you...Are you still keeping those kids through the week? If so, with your classes and keeping them, you are staying busy!!!

Vicki & Ramona,
How is your Mom? I'm still including them in my prayers. Please post soon and tell us how they are.Ramona...Is your Mom still not eating???

Are you still doing WW? Did you have a lost this week? BTW: How is your Mom?

Doni, Wanda,Tina & Jennelle....Where are you???? Hope to see a post from you soon!!! Love Ya!!!!

How was everyone's Mother's Day? What did you get? Chris is broke so I got a very pretty card with a real sweet letter.Drew gave me beautiful flowers.

Better get busy on my laundry. I love you guys!!

05-11-2004, 06:33 PM
I was posting the same time as Shelley & Dee!!!!!

Shelley....Yes! The school days are soooooo long!!! I don't think the 20th will ever get here!!!!!

Dee....I'm so glad you posted!! I'm so sorry that you're still in pain and having to take so much morphine.I wish I could take away all your pain.Hopefully you'll be able to see a surgeon soon!! I can't believe you have snow!!!! That is so wild! I hope it doesn't kill your flowers. Thanks for asking about me. Yes, just busy with moving Mom & Dad. This bod is wearing down fast. I don't know how much more I can go. I love you Dee!! :grouphug:

05-11-2004, 06:44 PM
Shelley I am taking 50 mg time released and 3 short acting morphine pills. Not sure what the dose is on them. Plus I am on 3 arthrotec which are anti-inflamitories and 10mg of amitriplyline for pain and to help me sleep, it is also a mild anti depresent. I am not depressed though. How much morphine is Mike on? Is he nauseated too? I am going to start taking gravol for it.

Debbie glad that your pool is open. Our's is open for skating!

05-11-2004, 06:55 PM
I'm going to be off work from this Thursday until Monday the 24th. A loooonnnng vacation--which I am so needing. If I'm able to remember how to log onto the computer when I get back, I'll update everyone. Not sure which shows we're going to see yet, I know we'll go to at least two. And, of course, we'll hit all the outlet malls.

I'm trying to figure out how much heavier my suitcase will be if I take my scales along with me!

Dee-I can't believe you're having a snowstorm! It's almost June-is this normal for y'all's weather? Your back problem sounds very similar to what happened to an ex-boyfriend's dad several years back. He was on tons of meds, too. One day, he could barely get around, he had surgery, three weeks later he was back to normal--hunkey dorey!

Sherry--glad you're getting things moved into your "new" house. Does it give you a sense of comfort to move into your parents' former house?

Gayle, my basset hound's name is Bosco.

05-11-2004, 08:42 PM
Hello All:

I am alive and well. Not staying OP though. I did great for about 4 days and then I don't know what happened. I am so disgusted with myself. How can I let myself gain this weight back after I worked so hard to lose it last year. I am up 20 of the original 60 lbs I had lost! :censored:  :stress: :yikes:

Enough of that!!

Gayle: It sounds like Mama has a lovely new addition to her family. I remember when I was a little girl, my Mom had a parakeet that just adored her. It was great! Enjoy that lovely bird and so send a pic soon.

Debbie; Cheryl; Shelley; Sherry; Congrats to all of you for staying OP and losing that weight and/or inches. Your doing wonderful. It doesn't matter if it is a small loss or a large one, all of them count!! Keep up the great job your doing. I love you all!!

Sherry: Boy you sure are one busy gal. I bet you can hardly wait until all the moving is done and you can relax and reap the rewards of all your hard work!!

Dee: So glad you are posting, but so sad you have to be so drugged to keep the pain away. I hope they finally get things decided so you can get done whatever is needed so that you can return to a normal life!!! I am praying for you. SNOW OMG!!!

Ramona & Vicki: How are you doing? How are your Moms doing? Are you remembering to take a little time for you too!!

Shelley: Sounds like Becky is going to have one hot vehicle!!!

Debbie: Can I come get in your pool too???? Sounds just heavenly!! How is your mom? How is your job search coming? Bring me up to date girl!!

Doni, Wanda,Tina & Jennelle.... Come post.... miss you...

Sherry: Thanks for asking about my Mom. She is tired, but holding her own. She started her chemo 2 weeks ago again, with every other week getting the medicine called Astravin. The best we can hope for with the new med. is that it will keep the cancer at bay. It won't cure it, but hopefully it will keep it from growing. She may have to have this medication indefinately if it works. Please pray it works!!!

Dad is getting weaker every week. I can see it. He complains of being weaker and he never did that before. I don't know how long he will be able to get around with his walker but I hope at least for the summer so he can get out and enjoy the sunshine. He has had a few spells where he gets so weak he almost falls, so we worry about that too. He has so many things wrong with him it is a guessing game which is going to flare up next. Mom and Dad won't let us get them any help yet, so I worry about Mom handing all the day to day things when we are all at work.

I don't like to complain about things to all of you. We all have things going on in our lives that drag us down. I like to come here and find out all the fun and happy things that are going on. But I don't mind hearing about other peoples' problems either because it makes mine seem more bearable. Does that make sense??

Oh well, enough.

I better go now. I will check in with you all tomorrow. I will also try to start on WW again tomorrow!!

Hello strangers! It sounds like everyone is staying busy! I'm hopping try to stay up on the everyday stuff, plus get ready for a rummage sale in a few weeks. Oh, joy! this is my MIL's idea, I dread it every year.

Bosco is adjusting wonderfully! He enjoys nothing more then to sit on a shoulder or cuddle up on my lower neck. I can't believe how tame he is! He will actually listen and come right to you. he's a tiny little guy, green with touches of blue, only about the size of a sparrow or small canary. I've never really been around birds before, so this is a new experience.

Dee, when will you see the surgeon? YOU POOR DEAR! Don't worry about getting addicted to the morphine. It works differently on someone in pain compared to a person out on the street using it for recreation. Someone taking it just for the kicks will get a "high" compared to someone in pain, then the drug will search out the pain and be used right in that area for relief.

Cheryl, you are doing SUPER! Congrats on the pounds lost!

Ramona, I'm praying your mom will have some relief soon. I had a feeling all weekend that the time is getting closer. I love you dearly and if you need anything at all, I'm here.

Carol, I am struggling too with the weight loss. I know if I shut my mouth all would be better. I start out the day saying I'm going to stay OP, but by the end of the day I'm back to eating everything and anything. I wish both of us could find that special moment when it just "clicks" again and we get back into the weight loss mode.

Shelley, can you post a pic of the car? Did you get your transaction taken care of with the guy that was trying to screw you over?

Sherry, when you get done painting there in TN, I need some painting done here! I HATE to paint! UGH! I end up with more of the paint on me then the walls!

Well, dearies, I need to go, but before I do, will you say prayers again for my friend? This is the same one suffering from cancer. They just found some more tumors this past week and they are also worried the tumors on her brain are growing again. This poor lady has been through so much. She has had breast cancer twice, liver, lung, brain cancer and now tumors on her hip, leg and tailbone. She is a strong willed, spirited person, but I wonder how much more she can take. She actually was my babysitter with Liz several years ago. liz thinks of her as a second mom and I can't thank her enough for being there with Liz during my divorce and years as a single parent.

To all the Floozies I didn't write a personal note to, know I'm thinking of each and every one of you each and every day!

I'm sorry, Carol! I'm guilty of scanning the messages, I didn't realize your mom is doing chemo again. You probably really thought I was selfish for asking for prayers of a friend when I didn't even aknowledge the problems your parents are facing. Where is your moms cancer, if I may ask? Prayers are sent your direction and please keep us updated.

Gayle-More prayers coming for your friend. BTW, Mike keeps telling me the same thing that you are telling Dee about the morphine, but after so many years, I know that he is addicted even though he is in pain.

Carol-You will get back OP when you are ready. Even part of the day is good! Look how you were able to stay OP for a few days. If I were you, I would journal all the food even if you are eating wrong. It shows you in black and white just what you need to do to improve on the days when you think that you can make it through OP!! Also, I am sending many prayers to your parents. It is so heartbreaking listening to all the sadness going on with our elderly parents. Mine are still in good health, knock on wood. Even though they are both 80, they are doing wonderful. It is so hard watching our parents age, as I'm sure it will be for our children watching us grow old.

Get this, the lady next door has banned her daughter from seeing Patty. I'm not sure what Patty has done. She tells me that she said some mean things to a friend of the girl online because she kept IMing her. I'm not sure how to take it. They are teenagers, and after seeing the really bad things that kids do, I really am not making a big deal of it, but the neighbor is homeschooled and has not been out there amongst all the real world of school. Do you think that I should be harder on Patty? She knows she did wrong, but the way I look at it, she gets good grades, has tons of friends, is a good kid. The mom went so far as to say that Patty needs therapy! She hasn't come and talk to me yet, but according to Becky she has said that she will be. I'm not sure what to say to her, because we have very different views of the way that we raise our children. She grounds Nicole for every little thing. I know some of you are from strong Catholic backgrounds. Tell me what you think.

On to work.......
Have a great day!
