Carb Counters - Uncle Butchy's Gathering!

I thought I'd give us our own thread to figure out the details. Anyone else interested in coming out?

Currently, it's either going to be a Saturday evening dinner on May 29th or a Sunday champagne brunch on the 30th.

At any rate.... I'm broke. Come to IL. We've got cows and corn.!!!! :P

Better yet, come to Palm Springs. We' ll wonder down the strip, shop, have lunch at a sidewalk cafe and watch the people, go dancing that night then come home and bubble in the hot tub and look out at our beautiful view at night.

Star, I would love to drive down, but the 30th is dh's and my 6th anniversary. That, and he works both Saturday and Sunday... BUMMER!!!

We'll have to do something another time, though, I'm only 2.5 hours away!!

Oh yeah, I wanted to add that we have a place here called Kristen's LoKarb Kafe and it's supposed to be opening up a 5 Star gourmet restaurant that is completely low carb! :cheer: Even there little cafe's have awesome food. I had a chocolate-banana shake, and a steak burger w/ chips & pickle tonight for under 14 carbs. Not bad for a full meal with a treat. I don't usually let my carb count get that high for one meal, but I barely ate today so I indulged a tiny bit. :o :lol:

Heck, Dale and I have a vacation time-sharey kind of thing that gives you a week in a 3 bedroom condo at many, many locations around the world! Bet we could find a centrally located one :)
