Good Morning Everyone,
Weigh In day wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be and I came out with a 1.5 pound loss. I will need to lose 2 pounds a week to make my end of May Goal and that has me a tad concerned but I know I can do it. So I have to promise myself to eat well, get in my water and keep up with my daily walks. I want nothing more then to be under 200lbs by my birthday! So yes I'm going to attempt stict induction once more.
Today it's looking pretty gloomy out, it really zaps all ambition out of me. Hopefully by the time I'm off from work it will be a sun shining day and I can enjoy it a bit.
I still have this cold I can't seem to get rid of. It's driving me nuts.. stuffy nose and a cough. My tummy's been doing flips too.. oye. It will be nice the day I wake and feel good again. Ok enough whining...
Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

Good morning Trazzie. We are the early birds today.
Congrats on your weigh in. I am in the same boat as you....in order to make my End of May goal I will have to lose 2 a week also....don't think that is going to happen no matter how good I am. But I will keep on pluggin along. Any loss is good.
Sorry you aren't feeling well. Get better soon.
Fit into the linen dress just fine.....top a little tight. Don't think I can wear a bra :o Not a problem....not like they are big and need to be controled.
Trying to decide if I want to do the bare legs thing......I was asking my husband about it last night....would my legs look thinner with dark nylons on? He of course had NO advise! Men!
So help me out here ladies.......bare legs or nylons (remember nylons give us some control)

Two things I forgot to tell you.
1. I brought some strawberries in today for after lunch. I am so excited. Haven't had them in ages. It's like having a little bit of gold in my lunch box. :D
2. I just discovered something in FitDay.....I went into yesterday to log in my walk and found out I burned the same number of calories that I took in. Geez do you think that is why I am not losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to have to bump up the exercise or take down the calories. I will watch this for the next week and see how it goes.

Ugh, just lost my post.
I will now paraphrase:
Sinuses are gonna be the death of me.
I too am gonna have to work my butt off to make end of May goal.
My only criterion for nylons is not with sandals.
Have a good day.

Trazzie: Congrats on the weight loss & sorry you're not feeling better. Could it be allergies? Things are blooming all over!
Jane: Congrats on fitting into the dress. I've not ever tried going w/out nylons so I can't help you there. I'm never tan enough to. And did you really think DH would be of decent help?
Ok. I'm feeling better today. Not as tired (Surprisingly I slept through most of the night). I've stayed OP for 2 days now (going for 3. lol). I don't have any chocolate in the house, but I do have frozen muffins that I'll work on staying away from. I need to get these 2 pounds off to make my end of May challenge. I'm to the point my body's resisting letting go of this fat. ARGH!! I'm hoping to get some exercise in today seeing how I'm feeling better! That would be good too.

Trazzie - Congrats on the loss!!!! Hope you are feeling better really soon too!!
Jane - I usually opt for the nylons. but I have to admit that is my line of thinking because I always needed them to HIDE things. Now, I would be toying with the idea of bare legs too. Acutally I'd probably go witht he bare legs!!! (I'm a lot of help aren't I!)
Shimma - hope your sinuses improve!
Brenda - I think I was a little ambitious with my EOM challenge. My body is having the same fits letting go of the fat. I just wants to continue to STICK to my butt and thighs (uuuggghhh!)
I actually lost a pound on vacation...I still can't believe this. Probably becuase this lost pound represents the reaching of my first mini goal. It was 145!!! Reason: it's the first weight for my height that is in "normal" BMI. I'm not in the overweight category anymore!!!! Wooooohooooo!!!!! I still have 20 more to lose, but just hitting that first goal feels so good!!!!

Good Morning
WTG on the loss Lori!!! :bravo: I cant wait until Im in the normal weight zone for my height....its been way too many years since I was there.
Jane...no nylons, and you can wear a control top panty if you need to. Show off them skinny legs!!!
Well, Ive been trying to attach my kitchen photos, but I cant seem to get them small enough......any suggestions?
Im doing good and sticking to my plan.......Have a great day everyone!!

Robin: I usually resize my pictures to 800x600. That makes them small enough for the web. If you can't get that to work you can email them to me and I will see if I can fix for you.

Thanks Robin. I never thought I would make it. Putting in your weight and height on the BMI calculator is very enlightening. I know I'm just "barely there", but I plan on getting below the mid-way point and staying there!!! The range is quite amazing.

GOod morning ladies
Jane no nylons is good!
LOri CONGRATS!!!!!
Shimma sorry about the sinuses
HI Brenda!!
Sorry so short this moring ladies, I have been up all night with sick DS, Both boys in the past week have gotten hit with the stomach flu, it lasts only 1 day (THANK GOD!!) they get a fever and then they throw up once and then it leaves just as fast as it came! Myles had his during the day, but in typical Jonah fashion it hit during the night so I have had zero sleep! DH came home at about 2am from work and stayed up with him too and we are just zonked.
Needless to say I missed the gym yesterday cause of the stomach flu thing. And then this week is gonna get busy, my mom is coming from California for a visit so I have ALOT of cleaning to do and then we will be doing lotsa stuff so I doubt I will make it to the gym to much next week, she is leaving on Thursday so after that I guess. Oh well now I have to decide if I should go to work or not today.
Have a great day!!

Trazzie: Congrats on the loss! :cb:
Jane: I vote for bare legs and sandals. I can't remember the last time I actually wore nylons... I always opt for sandals! Also, enjoy the bit o' gold in your lunch box! :D
Shimma: Hope the sinuses are feeling better soon! Congrats to the BF on the internship!
Brenda: Congrats for staying OP!
Lori: Congrats on your healthy BMI! Daytona is a beautiful area. I think you will definitely love it if you move to Florida. And, housing is surprisingly cheap -- as long as you're not right on the water. There are so many good things here, I could just go on and on... :D
Robin: Looking forward to those photos!
TG: Hope your family all gets to feeling better soon!
After a mess-up this weekend, I've been back on track and feeling great. I think I just went through a lazy, unmotivated period. I'm back to wanting to lose weight, eat right and exercise. Hopefully, I'll keep feeling like this! :crossed:
Yesterday, I went with a friend to play baseball. He got a pitching machine, so we were hitting and chasing balls all afternoon -- it was so much fun and a great workout. I am so sore today! I need some variety in my exercise routine, so that was great.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Wednesday!
Take care,
Jina

OMG, that's too funny! I had a bosses boss run-in today. I was in my office with my boss and another person, having a "budget meeting" (yeah, right...) Anyway, one of the guys is really funny and he starting doing this weird voice impression of someone and it was sooo loud my boss's boss called to "make sure everything was okay up here". Her office is right below mine. She said she was hearing strange noises and a lot of loundness and just wanted to make sure everything was alright. Bull - we were just having too much fun! Can't fun be recognized as a good thing at work? My boss can, but she sure can't. Not getting enough lately? Ooh, did I really say that! Sooo sorry...

 Nice Move Jane! How funny is that, I hope your boss has a sense of humor and just snickered about it.
Brenda - No allergies just a common cold. Maybe a touch of a stomach flu, my tummy hasn't been feeling to well lately and thats ALOT of sick tummy
Love - Bosses always have to ruin all the fun, I think a little laughter at work is always good for spirits, but then again I've been known to get a little out of hand
Jdogg - Sounds like a great time playing. A change in activity is always nice expecially when you can have such fun at it. Happy to hear your back on track now and feeling better now.
Theo - I hope your DS is feeling better. I think I would rather have caught what he had and be over it.. this thing of mine is dragging on and on and on..
Shimma - I hope your sinuses clear up soon.. it sounds like your in such misery.
Lori - YEAH! I'm so happy for you. Losing a pound on vacation and being in a "normal" bmi range! You must be so excited! Great Job!
Robin - Cant wait to see the pictures, I can't give you any advice on how to post them tho, I always just throw things up on a different website to avoid the hassle of trying to figure it out.
Well I'm poooooooooped. I had a stressful day at work, I seemed to have aquired a coworker who likes to go out of her way to irk me. When I confronted her on if she was just trying to get a response out of me she laughed. I was SO upset, but it's over and I took out all my pent up aggression out on a workout and it felt GREAT! Now I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open  However I must.. there are dishes to be done.. DD to be picked up from guitar lessons.. DH to be picked up from work.. and then another battle with the laundry demon in the basement. Then maybe I can think of a hot shower and bed :)
Have a great night Ladies!
