100 lb. Club - Weekly weigh-in May 3-9

View Full Version : Weekly weigh-in May 3-9

I didn't see one for this week so I figured I'd start it.

Nothing to brag about. I'm the same as last week but it goes to show me what happens when I don't journal like I should (I kept a mental note of what I ate but didn't take the time to actually write it down.) I'm going to be doing much better at it this week though. I'll check my inches next Monday. My clothes are still fitting me looser so that's a good sign.

2lbs this week..

Dawnyal, You maintained, that is good. So much better than a gain. :) :) I have to keep a food journal also. I did not do it hardly at all last week, so I think I am probably going to be in the same boat with you.

Gretchen, Wonderful!! Keep up the good work. :flow1:

I weighed today. 3 lbs gone!!!! I am on cloud nine! :hyper:

I had fast food 3 times last week in moderation. I thought for sure that I was not going to see a loss this week. I guess I balanced it all well with moderation and exercise. I'm really proud of myself having the self control when having fast food. I used to have no self control. :)

Congratulations Dawnyal, Gretchen & Tammy!! Good work!

I lost 2#s this week....which means that I got my 75# magnet at WW (I'm such a GEEK!). I am relieved to have finally broken the 75 pound barrier and to have escaped the 180s! Phew!

05-04-2004, 08:31 PM
Kris, Way to go!! You are doing so well. Congrats on that magnet!! It was well deserved. :) :)

Hey, well done guys, we are really going down! Congrats on the 1/3 of goal, 10% of weight achievement, Amy Jo!

Me, I am happy to report I am down 1.5 lbs this week......which included a very nice meal cooked by my (very) new boyfriend, and dinner at my parents.....its good to know I can live a little and still lose weight!

Look at all the losses this week. Yay us. :cheer:

I am just so excited I have to post. I am finally under 270. I have hovered around this number for months despite lots of hard work and careful eating. So I am thrilled. I am down five pounds in two weeks. I hope getting through the 260's won't be as hard as the 270's were! The other fun thing is that I now have less than 100 pounds to lose and I haven't been able to say that for years!

Thanks for letting me share...

Everyone's doing so well!!! It's really heartening to see that the newcomers, the returnees and the "bin hangin' in there" crowd is having equally successful weigh-ins. Mine's tomorrow morning at 8:30am - hoping to keep the ball rolling here!

WOW - I'm out of town for a week and all I see are a bunch of losers! Dawnyal, it's great that you've realized the importance of journaling - I'm sure you'll have a great WI next week and everything said and done, a maintain is soooo much better than a gain! Kris - I'm the Queen of Geekness when it comes to the WW magnets! Congrats to all the losers!

I'm actually down 3.8 lbs which put my "official" weight loss at 102.2 lbs. Woo Hoo!

05-09-2004, 12:47 PM
Way to go Mel!! Congrats on the 3.8 lbs lost. Your weight loss total of 102 pounds is so impressive!!! You are doing so well. Keep it up!

Go Mel! Go Mel! Go Mel!

I'm so excited for you!!!!!!!! You need to give yourself the biggest pat on the back!!! Great job! Really. :bravo: Psst....look for your name in a recent announcement....

05-09-2004, 11:21 PM
Well, I've made my first goal of 255! That met my first goal of 29 pounds, and more than 10% of my body weight. I've got a long way to go, but I'm really happy to have made it this far, and I feel like I'm on my way!

From here on out, I think my goals will each be for another 20 pounds. With that said, my second goal is for 235. A moment of silence, please......;) Nah, just kidding....I have no doubt I'll do it. (It probably won't happen as quickly as I'd wish, but I guess I'll just take a breath and ride it out!)

Anyway, I'm happy with my first almost-thirty-pounds!

05-10-2004, 12:57 AM
Way to go Sarah. You will be at your goal before you know it. Just think of how fast time flys instead of how much weight you have to lose.

05-10-2004, 12:02 PM
Wow! Some very significant milestones this week for people!

Congrats on reaching your 100#s Mel!! Did WW give you another magnet? ;)

Sarah - WTG on 10%!

05-10-2004, 12:49 PM
Woo hoooo Sarah!! You are doing beautifully. The hard work really pays off!! :) :)

05-11-2004, 04:39 AM
hey sarah, way to go girl. You are doing brilliantly.....congrats on that 10%!

05-11-2004, 02:21 PM
Thank you, Howie, Kris, Tammy and Claire!!! It means so much to get the support and encouragement here, doesn't it?? :goodvibe::goodvibe::goodvibe:

05-11-2004, 06:49 PM
I think support and encouragement make a world of difference. It definately keeps me motivated when I see all the weight loss going on here. It gives me the, "If they can do it, I can do it too!" attitude. "goodvibes" Sarah!
