Greetings from a happy person. :):):)
we just returned from a week of vacation. I'm exhausted but happy.
I think I'll get on the scales in the morning just to see how much damage was done.

I see no one missed me. :(

Susan, I wonder why you aren't losing too?

Hey Susan! Didn't there used to be a gal that posted here named Tina? Wonder what ever happened to her? She was a great incentive for all of us. Pretty upbeat kind of gal. Maybe she'll start posting again someday, what do you think?????? (Pretend that this is a face winking because I don't know how to do that)

Very funny, Tammy    :dizzy: :D
I'm glad to get back online but not glad to get back to the daily grind. I miss all that relaxing and goofing off. We had a super, terrific time.

How is everyone doing????? I really do miss all our members who are not posting. Hint Hint Hint---that means, Please Post.
If you are new to this thread, we would love you to come join us. It may seem like a very close knit group---and you would be correct- HOWEVER---we would love more members!!!!!

I'm going back to a WW meeting tomorrow morning. I need to be around others and to see fi there's something new going on with WW. I'll let y'all know what I find out.

LOL I giggled when I typed that Tina. I'm glad you had a good time. It is wonderful to be away from that daily grind, isn't it? I'm ready for summer, that's for sure.

I wish more people were posting too. Wonder what's up with everyone?

Let us know about the WW meeting. I've considered going back, but I don't know if I'm ready to pay for the meetings again. I've seriously thought about TOPS. There is a chapter that meets in the Family Center of our church on Tuesday nights. I could do the WW plan, and attend the TOPS meetings. Much cheaper and I would be getting that support. Not sure what to do. Maybe I should go on Tuesday and see what I think of it.

Heading for bed very soon. Have a great week everyone!!

I am a little disappointed in the WW meetings as well, we had two guest speakers in the last four weeks that were pretty good but the regular leader starts the meeting at 6;35 and we are done by 7;00. I just paid for 12 weeks, but I am going to be scouting out some other locations where they are meeting.
I didn't have to worry about the restaurant meal at the place that my son will be working. He took his girlfriend to the opening day instead of me ;)

Howdy,

I went to my brother's house in Kilgore this weekend. It was so much fun! :) It always is, then my other brother came up. We went over to the boats but none of us came back winners. :(

Welcome home Tina!! Glad that you had a great time!!!! I'm going back to ww meetings as soon as the baby is born.

Tammy, are you counting those days yet? I know I am!! We have 17 days left.

Mimi, how are you doing?

It would be great if everyone posted! We miss you when you don't post.

Happy Tuesday night!!!!!

I went to the WW meeting yesterday. It was good to be back. However, the subject wasn't for me. She talked about having meatless dishes, using tofu and 3 other things that I'd never heard of.
I'm not "into" tofu or anything like that. I will go back next week, though.

Susan and Tammy, I'm so sure y'all are ready for the summer.
Okay, everyone else is missed and urged to say "hi" some time. :)

I feel like I have jet lag. at least today I was more awake. I emptied one case but have the BIG ONE to get to tomorrow. It's so much easier to put things in than take them out and wash. Don't y'all agree!
Tina

auntie
05-04-2004, 09:18 PM
Hi,
Tina, I'm sure that you have jet lag. What is the time difference between here and the Grand Cayman's. Take it easy, those suitcases will be there when you are ready. :) Oh and that WW topic would not be for me either.

Susan

Tammy
05-04-2004, 09:42 PM
Mimi, I had to laugh about your son taking his girlfriend. My son would do the same thing, I'm sure!

Susan, we have 18 days left. Yes, I'm counting!!! 3 years, 18 days to be exact. lol

Tina, I'm not into Tofu either. Just looking at it makes me nauseous. Is that spelled right?

When we go on a trip, I'm always tempted to throw things away when we get home and just go out and buy new stuff. Make sense?

I just read my last message that said that I might check out TOPS at our church tonight. It started at 6 or 6:30. It is 9:40. Do you think they'd still be there???

Maybe I'll look into it this summer. Things have been going really well for me in that area. I'm losing very slowly, but I'm able to tell a difference in my clothing. In Nov. 2003 I was at my highest. That's when I joined Curves. Stopped going there last August, and I've tried to do things on my own. I'm right at 33 pounds gone in that time, so that makes me happy.

Tina

Good evening,
Tammy, I'd say you really missed that meeting tonight. :o

Mimi, I hope you find a meeting that interests you. It's so important to like the leader.

Susan, GC is Eastern Standard time. So, that made it the same time as TX. Weird, I know. However, my body just knew it was an hour different.
Also, we did a lot of physical activity, besides goofing off on the beach. Now, I have to recover.
How are you feeling????

Maureen, how are your jobs?

Sis, where are you friend????? I miss you a lot!

Greetings and Salutations!
I just spent almost $90.00 restocking my pantry and frig. Before the trip, I'd let it go. Now, I have food to eat. There's no excuse to eat out.
That is except for Mother's Day, of course. We are all going to a Mexican restaurant. My Mother used to like it and so we're taking her there. There should be 10 of us. That will be fun.

What is everyone else doing on Mother's Day? Or, is it a surprise for you?
(My sister and I always plan where we're going.)

Be proud, I got so much healthy food. :) Tonight will be easy. I bought some WW meat lasagna. I'm making a huge salad. And, I'll take some reduced cal. bread and put a smidgen of marg. and some garlic powder on it and place in the oven for a minute. Voila---yummy bread!
:flow1:

Tammy

Could we meet you at the Mexican restaurant? sounds great! Hope you and your family enjoy it. I can understand how easy it is to spend $90!!! Sometimes we go too long between stocking up on things.

Not sure what's happening this weekend. My birthday is Saturday. Bob works until 4, and Tim goes to work at 4. I don't think either one of them is working on Sunday, but we don't know for sure.

Your supper sounds great! I had broiled fish and the guys had pork chops. We had green bean casserole. They also had mashed potatoes and gravy.

That's all for now!

Well we went to the race track for our free buffet last night and it was great! We also got $20 in betting vouchers and $20 in Casino money but only my son's girlfriend won. GRRRR. I didn't overdo it too much on the buffet, I was really craving meat so I had roast beef, shrimp, and dessert. Not too balanced but wasn't going to worry about it. I also decided that playing slot machines in the most boring activity (?) I have ever participated in, no mental effort at all required. That mexican restaurant sounds good, we don't have any in town except Taco Bell (no thanks). I will be working most of Sunday, maybe we will do the dinner thing Saturday night. A juicy steak on the BBQ sounds about right.
Speaking of Tofu I used to have a really great recipe with tofu instead of meat and cottage cheese in a lasagna recipe. It really was good.

Hi Ya'll,
Hope everyone is having a great day.

Tina, I don't mind the shopping, it's the putting up that I could do without. Mexican food sounds yummy!!

Tammy, Hope your family surprises you and are all off on your birthday!!!

Mimi, I went to the Casino on Sunday night with my brothers. We only fed the machines. I like winning much better. :)

I have a headache tonight. I was hoping it would go away but I think I might have to break down and take something. I'm sure it's allergies. My eyes seem to have sprung a leak today. :)

Have a relaxing evening.

Evening,
Oh Tammy, I'm glad you told us it was going to be your birthday. :hb: Now you're going to get to hear us sing. :o

Mimi, I haven't had a juicy steak in a long time. That sounds so good.

Susan, take care of yourself. I hope you feel better tomorrow. Is it okay to take Tylenol?

Where is everyone else??????? Please post .....

Our supper was really good. I love that WW lasagna.
Take care tomorrow.

Bob and I talked last night about the trip we took to Vegas back in 87. We had so much fun. There are some casino boats a few hours from here. He mentioned going there sometime this summer. I agree that winning is much more fun.

Mimi, I think I like the slot machines because I don't have to think. lol I get too confused doing other things. Bob won $1000 when we went to Vegas by doing a slot machine. THAT was great!!

Susan, hope your headache is gone.

Hi all. I hope everyone is well. I have been lurking now and then but usually just a quick peek and then trying to catch up on my other things around the house. Like that happens. :) I haven't been doing very well. I can't seem to get it together. I haven't lost anything, in fact I probably have gained a lb or two. I have to get myself together. I just have to figure out how. I think changing jobs kind of messed me up a bit with how I am eating. Oh well I will do this. Hope everyone has a great week. Take care.....Sis

Hi Sis!!!!
Okay, girl, you can do this. I just know you can. You've come so far that it's time to get into gear.
Let's get you down 9 pounds....okay!
Take it 3 at a time. That sounds do-able, doesn't it???

Thanks so much for the encouragement Tina. I needed that. I know I can do it to. I just have to get myself motivated. I didn't eat at the cafateria yesterday for lunch, that was a start. I only eat salads but I think I don't count them right and I probably have to much stuff on them. Even though its a little of this and a little of that it adds up and I think I was fooling myself. Anyways, I will do my best to get back on the wagon so to speak. Thanks again. Have a wonderful week end.....Sis :D

Sis, I agree with Tammy and Tina!! You can do it!!! Hang in there!

I'm so glad it's the weekend. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!! Next week I'm working only 2 days. I'll have a Monday and Friday. I have doctor apppintments Wed. & Fri. and I just decided to take off on Thurs.

Susan

Tammy

Weekends are wonderful!!!
I stayed home on Wednesday. The aches and pains have been pretty bad, and I had cramps on top of that. I went for some blood tests on Wed. afternoon. Thought I'd get the results today, but the doctor is out until Monday!!!! He's trying to figure out why my entire body is aching. I know it can't be from that fall I had in March. This has gone on too long. He mentioned rhematoid (sp?) arthritis, lupus, and something else. Hopefully the blood tests will show something. I am taking Celebrex once a day, and Vicodin when I have pain. (all the time? ) I've tried not to take the pain med. during the day. I have taken 1/2 of a pill to help me get through the day at school.

I've been losing weight pretty steadily, and I really don't feel like I am trying that hard, so I wonder if that is associated with whatever is going on with my body. I know I have Bob worried sick. He and Tim had a long talk the other night about them taking over on some of the things that I do around the house. Our laundry is in the basement. I am NOT to go to the basement. It does hurt to go up and down the stairs. I started down there this afternoon when no one was home. I was on the 2nd step and I saw Bob pulling in the drive. Glad he didn't catch me down there!!!

I can't believe that it's 10:30 and I'm still awake. I need to get some sleep. I'm going to the chiropractor in the morning. Hope that helps get rid of some of the pain. It can't hurt worse, that's for sure.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

auntie
05-07-2004, 10:43 PM
Tammy,

I'm so sorry that you have been in so much pain!!! I sure hope they find out what is causing it along with something that will help you. Keep taking your medicine. I'm sure the pain is part of the reason that you are losing so much weight. I'll say an extra prayer for you!!

Happy Saturday to everyone,

Tammy-- I am so sorry you are having all that pain and trouble. If Bob is worried sick then I am worried sick. (It usually takes quite a bit for men to worry.)
Please take it easy this weekend. Being pampered is always nice and especially when you feel bad.
Let us know what the doctor has to say. We are all here for you, friend.

Just got home from the chiropractor. He said that I have a couple discs in the lower back that are jammed. He worked on that. He also worked on my neck for quite a while. They did a heated ultrasound thing on the lower back. Boy did that feel good! I'm sore from going there, but maybe I'll feel better later.

Finals are in 2 weeks and I'll have to turn it in to the office before I leave for summer. It will be nice to have it out of the way.

It's another beautiful Monday!
I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. Did you call your mother/give her a gift??? We (me & my sister and families) took ours to a Mexican restaurant. She didn't even remember we'd told her it was Mother's Day. It is so sad. :(
Anyway, I gave her a framed photo and some body powder.
My fantastic son gave me a gift card to Best Buy. Next week, the second season of West Wing comes out on DVD. He gave me the card so I could go buy it. :D :D I'm so happy!!!!!

I really overate this weekend. Today, it's back to reality.

I wish I could sent y'all some pictures from our trip. Unfortunately, my scanner "bit the dust." Some day, we'll buy another but I don't know when that'll be.
Okay, I've talked and talked. Now it's time for everyone else to post. :)

Hi ya'll,

Hope things are going good in your neck of the woods! It was a beautiful day here too. I love this weather. :)

Tina, that was so sweet of your son. I'm so sorry about your mom, I know it's really hard.

Tammy, are your students ready for school to be out. I had to lecture mine today that we still have 3 weeks left. Ugh!!

I ended up having to go into the doctor today. My blood pressure was a little up and I have a lovely yeast infection. He said my blood pressure is still ok but wants to keep monitoring it. Then he gave me some medicine for the yeast infection. Baby's heart beat was strong at 153 beats a minute. I go back to him in 2 weeks.

My ole dog Bettye is feeling bad. Not sure exactly what is wrong but she has no energy and is only eating chicken and rice (of course I make it when she won't eat anything else. Pat's going to take her to the vet tomorrow.

Have a relaxing evening.

Tina

Oh Susan,
I'm so sorry Bettye is not feeling well. I hope it's nothing serious.
I know all about cooking for our animals. Smokey (cat) has been having-or rather not having- a hairball. He has felt so very bad. I was so scared Saturday night. Today he seems to be better and has been eating. The hairball medicine seems to be taking affect now.

Sorry about that yucky yeast infection. There's not much of anything worse. At least it's not in the dead of hot summer. That's when I seem to get one.

Tammy, how are you feeling today, girl?
Mimi, how are you doing?
Sis, are you exercising and eating healthier??????
Maureen, stop looking and start posting. :)

I am feeling great, I had a BIG bowl of strawberries for dessert tonight.mmmmmmm
My neighbours came over this evening when I was out and offered to help with the yard, they are new on the block, thats the first time I have ever had anyone offer help. I need all I can get.
My brother brought up some of my Mom's furniture on the weekend and the house is all turned upside down, getting rid of some old stuff and squeezing the new in.
I also bought a new TV and sofa with some of my inheritance money, the first new furniture in over 20 years. I put in a custom order so I will be at least a few more weeks coming.
My son's girlfriend painted a picture for me for Mother's Day. I was shocked, maybe it is more serious than I thought.
Hope everone, and pets are feeling better.

Howdy,

Well it's Friday for me. I think I like 2 day work weeks. :D Actually as I was leaving school at 4:30, I thought I should be staying later and doing more work. I'll get it all done next week. Finals are the next week. Oh my gosh!!!! :dizzy:

Tina, don't beat yourself up over your points just get back on track tomorrow.

Hi Mimi, that was so sweet of your neighbor to come help. You've had a busy weekend. What was your picture of?

Tammy, how is that back? Have you been back to the chiropractor?

Bettye is a little better. She has a little more energy. She finally pooped last night. We think maybe she was just really plugged up. Pat said let's see how she does today, so he didn't take her to the vet. Thanks for asking. I wonder how she & the cats will react when the baby comes. She is definitely my dog and follows me around the house watching my every move.

Greetings for Wednesday!
Susan, I'm so glad Bettye is better. Smokey used his bathroom the other night after I gave Hairball medicine all that day and the day before. He is shedding so much. He didn't get combed the whole week I was gone. I'm sure that was his problem. He's eating more yesterday and this morning.

Tammy, where are you girl?
Mimi, I too want to know about that picture. :)

Hi gang. Sorry I haven't posted. I skimmed through messages, sorry for not responding. this is going to be about it for tonight. I'm hurting. I had blood work done last week, he thinks it's a form of arthritis, but not ruling out other things. Going for more blood work on Sat. morning. Have to fast for 12 hours.

My kids are so worried because it's about all I can do to get around the room. My whole body aches, and I hate this. The pain medicine isn't helping much at all. Sorry to be so moody. Love you guys! I'll try to post when I'm not hurting so bad.

Mimi, the picture sounds very special. That was so nice of her.

We have 11 days of school left counting today. I'll be glad when it's done. I go for more bloodwork in the morning. We have to figure out something soon. I don't know how much more of this I can handle. I don't like pain. I think I'm going to have to call for a sub for our field trip on Tuesday. I can't imagine riding on a bus and walking all day. I hate to miss is, but I wouldn't be much good for anybody.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

It's Friday and that's wondeful :cp: :cb:
I'm surprised that I can write this. :) The house should be floating out to sea by now. We've had so much bad rainy weather. It rained most of yesterday and all last night. :rain:

Susan, how were your tests? Tell us how you are doing.
Mimi, can you walk in your house yet (with all the extra pieces of furniture)?
Sis, is your weather bad? Have you and husband been able to get outside and walk. Okay, girl, I want a report on how you are doing. Are you journaling everything you eat? Remember, that always helps.

Tammy, I think getting a substitute for that field trip is an excellent idea. Good luck tomorrow.

Tina, we had some rain last night and earlier this evening. Not as much as you though.

There was a sub at school today who just retired from teaching 3rd grade last year. She is going to be my sub on Tuesday. I'm very relieved that I made the decision.

Went to town earlier. Now my arms hurt from holding on to the steering wheel! Is this crazy or what?

auntie
05-14-2004, 11:26 PM
Hey there,

Tammy, have they checked your thyroid? Silly question I know, but when my thyroid was too low, everything hurt. Glad you got a sub. Take as many days as you need.

Tina, did you get a bunch of rain? How is your mom doing?

Mimi, how are you doing?

Good news, we went to the dr. He said, little man's heart, lungs, skull and spine all look good. He has all of his fingers and toes too. So now, I have an MRI next week. The following week, I'll meet with a pediatric cardiologist just to double check his heart and for a fetal echo cardiogram. Then at 30 weeks, we'll meet with the surgeon. The doctor said "everything is looking really good" This appointment was so much bettter than last month.

Well, off to bed. I'm getting tired.

Tammy, I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. I hope you find out what it is and you can take care of it. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take it easy girl! Definately let the guys take care of more around the house. I'm sure that they love you and won't mind. Take care....Sis

Tammy
05-15-2004, 12:52 PM
Susan, the doctor has never mentioned the thyroid. Maybe that's one of the things he is checking. There were so many things marked on the paper that I took to the hospital this morning, and I had no clue what most of them are.

Glad things are going well with Bubba!!! You have to feel better knowing all of this. Did you sleep better?

Sis, I was tempted to do laundry while Bob and Tim are at work. I went to WalMart after I had the bloodtests done this morning. Bob informed me that I should not be planning to go to the basement to do the laundry. I think he's on to me. lol I just took some medicine, so I'm going to go take a nap while the house is quiet. I'm worn out from going for the blood tests, to breakfast at McDonalds with Tim, and the trip to Wal Mart.

It's raining again today. The band is supposed to be playing at a racetrack about 30 miles north of here tonight. I think they'll get rained out. I was supposed to chaperone, but called and cancelled.

auntie
05-15-2004, 04:19 PM
Hi Friends,

Hope all is well with you! Yes, I did sleep good last night! :) Thanks!!

Tammy, How long did the dr. say it would take to get the results back? I just want you to start feeling like yourself again. I know you feel awful!! So take it easy and try not to do anything. I'm glad that you cancelled the racetrack. You need to take care of yourself right now.

Tina, How are you?
Sis, What's new with you?

Pat's gone to practice and then to play. I might go out there for a little while tonight but don't really want to be around smoke. We went to a wedding this morning and my eyes have been running since. I just might go pick up some chinese food and then stay in for the evening.

Afternoon all,
Ooooh, Chinese food sounds very good, Susan.

Tammy, I'm glad Bob is "on to you." You do not need to be going up and down those stairs. So there! :)

Sis, are y'all having rain now?

It's been such a beautiful day. Unfortunately, we have these yellowish/gold mushrooms growing in the front yard. I went out and used a stick to poke them out of the ground. I don't like those things!!!!!
I was doing so good OP until Larry took me to Starbucks a few minutes ago. We were going to share a pumpkin scone but they didn't have any. He got a fudge brownie and I got a small piece of caramel cheesecake. There went my flex points .  It was sooooo good that I'm trying not to feel bad about it. :D
Mimi, what are you doing today??
Anyone new to this thread? We'd love you to join in!

Susan, staying home with Chinese sounds great! I'm home and planning to grade some papers. Oh boy! I graded a few last night, but I haven't touched the math yet.

Tina, I think you called Bob and told him that I planned to do laundry!!!! lol

It has rained most of the day. It has stopped now. I'm glad for the band to be dry at the races. Feels funny not being with them tonight. I chaperone so often.

That's all for now. Need to get some grading done before I fall asleep.

Hi,
How was everyone's Sunday? We had a good day and both stayed OP.
Does anyone eat that Special K Vanilla Almond cereal? If you haven't tried it, I recommend it. We had that for breakfast. Then, we went to a cafeteria for lunch. We each had some kind of fish and 2 veggies.
For supper, I splurged and had a burger from a local shop. Larry had a chicken sandwich. Then, I had some ice cream. I have blood tests tomorrow and thought that might "up" my calcium level. :D It was good, too.

Everyone else talk now.

I haven't tried the Sp K V A cereal. Maybe I'll have to give it a try. Ice cream is good for the soul. I love that stuff. I bought some Blue Bunny Sugar Free Fudge Bars. Yummy!!!!!!!

Another Monday. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I slept late. didn't make it to church. We had sandwiches for lunch, and for supper we just grabbed whatever we felt like out of the fridge. No one felt like cooking, so it was a strange combination of foods. lol Bob said he had trouble sleeping last night because of the foods that he ate. He also ate popcorn about 10:00, so that may have been part of the problem.

Need to get ready for school.

Hi there,
Well I ended up getting my Chinese food but went to see Pat play for one set. It was fun but I was ready to come home. I paid for the Chinese food with LOTS of swelling in my feet and hands. I hate it!!

The cereal sounds good. I love cereal and can eat it for just about any meal.

Tammy, I'm glad that you got some rest!! You need to get lots of it. When will your results come back.

I go on Thursday for my MRI and next Friday to the pedriatic cardiologist. Glad those things will be behind me.

Have a great evening.

Susan, swelling in hands and feet is not good. No more Chinese food for you.

The nurse called yesterday afternoon. She said my glucose level was 107! It was 130 in December. Apparently I'm doing something right. Another test should that my enzyme levels that were elevated are now in the normal range. She asked if I was feeling better. I told her that I hurt as bad or possibly worse than I did when I was in the office a couple weeks ago. I have an appointment at noon today. I'm so glad that I got a sub to cover me on the field trip.

Let us know (I'm sure you will) about the MRI and appointment.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Hi,

Tammy, I'm glad your glucose levels are down. So that is wonderful!!! I just wish you weren't hurting!!

My dad took the wrong insulin the other nignt and fell broke 2 ribs. They ( my mom and sister) gave him 2 large glasses of OJ and 8 tablespoons of Karo to get he back to normal. It's pretty scary!!!!

It's a beautiful day here in north Texas. Glad there is only 1 week and 1/2 of school left.

Hi all,

Susan, I'm so sorry about your dad. That was scarey, I'm sure.

Tammy, I hope they find out what is causing the pain.

Sis, Maureen, and Mimi----what's going on?????

I had a very hard day emotionally. It has been almost one year since my father-in-law was found dead in his home. (They called me on my birthday!) My cat has been throwing up all his food with hairballs. He doesn't feel well tonight. My mother is so "out of it" that she was so ugly to me today. I usually don't let it hit me as hard as it did today.

On a bright note.....I stayed within my points today. :D

I'll be cheerier tomorrow.

Here I am, your little ray of sunshine! Not today.
I'm so upset tonight. I took my cat to the vet. She felt something large in his stomach. Hopefully, it's just a hairball. I take him back tomorrow for an x-ray.
I haven't eaten much today.

Hope everyone else is fine.
Susan, how are you and the baby?

Susan, how awful for your dad! Hope he will be on the mend very soon.

The doctor has definitely ruled out lupus, rhematoid arthritis, and some kind of muscle thing. He switched my medicine, and I am feeling a little better. Hope it continues to get better.

Tina, I can't believe that it's been almost a year since your FIL passed away. Ummm, just when is your birthday sweetie???

Hope things go well at the vet.

We're supposed to have Field Day this afternoon. I hope it rains. Isn't that terrible? I'd rather stay in the building with the kids and work. I don't feel like traipsing around behind the school for all of the activities. Maybe I should have called in sick.

7 days of school counting today.

Wow, our thread is getting very, very long. :)

Some good news---the x-rays of my cat did not show any cancer. The vet thinks that what she feels is a giant hairball. She has sent his blood work out for testing. She'll call me tomorrow around noon with results. It could be his thyroid or nothing. Poor kitty, came home and ate and went to sleep. He had a traumatic morning.
Thanks for all your thoughts.
Today, I had hot tea and lite fruit cocktail for breakfast. Then, I had a Subway turkey sandwich for lunch. I have lots of points for supper, if I want to use them.

Hi,

Oh Tina, You've not had a very good week. Bless your heart!! Hopefully your cat is just has a hairball. Poor kitty. Did you get to bring him home? Make sure you eat something to keep up your strength up.

Tammy, how are you feeling?

I had my MRI today. It was the harderst thing I've ever done. I was in there 40 minutes. I don't think I could have gone a minute longer. The baby's liver is outside along with some of the small intestines. He might have to have 2 surgeries to repair it. Hopefully it will only be one! He kicked me for the first time that I felt it while I was laying there. One the pictures his little leg is straight out. It's pretty funny! :D

Only 6 more days!!!! Until Freedom (not like I'm excited or anything)

Thank you for your words of support.

Susan, I'm so glad you made it through that MRI. I've heard of them and don't think I could stand it!!!!! Your little baby was telling you it was time for you to get up.
Have a good day tomorrow.

Hi all,
We found out today that our cat has hyperthyroidism. That is causing him to have a heart murmur. The heart murmur makes him so weak. On Monday, I call the vet to find out details of his treatment. She didn't want to start anything on Saturday.
Larry and I have been nervous wrecks this week. This afternoon, we've been "chillin out."
I've done farily well OP today. As soon as our cat gets on the medication, I'll feel better. (That will be on Monday.)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

HI Everyone,

Tina, glad they found out what was wrong with your kitty. I had hyperthyroidism about 6 years ago. I ended up taking radioactive iodine. It really makes you feel horrible. Let us know what they deceide to do. I know you are anxious to get him taken care of.

My finger tips are numb from swelling. They aren't too bad but I don't like the feeling of it. I took a bath tonight and it was so relaxing.

Pat's playing in Fort Worth so I'm just chillin too. I walked my dog and worked in the garden. Looks like I'll have a jillion tomatoes again this year. YUM!!!

Hi Ya'll,

Hope you had a great Sunday! I pulled weeds. I seem to have a knack this year for growing them. If you would like some, I'd be more than happy to share! :D

I just made the best supper. I took chicken tenders and grilled them in the George Foreman grill. I made Pat honey mustard for his and I had bbq sauce for mine. Then put them on hamburger buns. It was so good. Maybe I was just hungry. The baby liked it because he started moving around afterwards.

Well, I don't want to go to school tomorrow but only have 1 week left so I can't complain.

Have a great evening.
