Carb Counters - I want to stay fat because......

Ok so Brenda's thread got me thinking this might be a good motivator. I got it from another thread of the same that I participated on. You list all the things you hate, or hated about being fat. ;)


I want to stay fat because.........

*I love being intimate.........but only in the dark

* I love it when people tell me how pretty my "face" is.

* I love being able to wear my maternity clothes....2 years AFTER the birth of my son

* I love it when my thighs rub together and burn holes in my pants :lol:

* I love it when I go to a restaurant and am totally afraid of people noticing me when I eat because I shouldn't be eating THAT.

*Because I didn't want to go to prom........really. :(

*Because I like not facing the real reasons why I am fat.

I also want to stay fat so i can go buy t-shirts that are a 3 XL cause I just like the number 3, and I really would like to experience what is beyond the size 26!

I love to have my favorite pants wear out in the legs becasue they have rubbed together so much.

I like having a tummy big enough to set my plate on like a table.

PLUS I love to shop at the fat girl stores!!!

I love it when people come up and ask me when the baby it due or when the say "boy you look umh .....healthy"

I love not being able to bend OVER to see my toes (squatting is SUCH fun *sarcasm*)

I love it when twiggy people say "you're not that fat"

I love having people tell me "well, have you tried portion controls? It's all in portion control"

I love not being able to run, jump and play with my children because I get out of breath (and once again can't bend over)

I love sitting on my DH's lap and feeling like I'm gonna crush him (or prevent him from breathing)

Movies seats are so damn comfy when my butt is crammed in!
I love seeing photos of myself, and my face belongs to the Pilsbury Doughboy!

1. I love the red ring around my stomach. Kind of devides me in half so I know where the lower part starts.

* I love that my jeans always wear out between the thighs in an embarrassingly short amount of time, like in a few months. I also love when people tell me how they still wear their favourite jeans from grade 8.

* I love that shopping is so easy ... "Oh this is the only shirt that fits? The one in the polyester floral print? I'll take it!"

* I loved last season when the fad seemed to be 'short-length' tank tops, even in the plus sized stores, because I was so thinking about how much I wanted to show off my belly to the world. :)

* I also love the fact that by being 'top heavy' my center of mass is rather high and creates lots of interesting balance issues when skating or trying to run fast when playing baseball. Face plants are fun! ;)

* I love being fat because it completely hides that fact that I am actually a well-coordinated person and could actually be not-so-bad at sports. Wouldn't want that information getting out.

I get a free seatbelt extender from the airlines when I fly - and the attendant makes me feel so important when she yells out "Now WHO needed the extender?"

I get a better deal on clothing - I get more fabric for the same price as a size 5 woman.

I love the challenge of trying to sit in church and hold my thighs together without having them shake as my muscles strain.

I get to use an expensive handheld shower massage ..... it's the only way to rinse under my hanging belly!

I enjoy watching the high school kids at the amusement park try to lock the metal seat bar over my belly - it gives them a good workout.

the idea of getting into a swimsuit that exposes skin really picks up my spirits.

I have a BAAAAD high school story for you guys. There was a guy in my english class (mind you I have been fat all my life) I had kinda a thing with him, he would call me and come over after school and stuff but when we were at school he never paid attention to me, he sat with all his guy friends in english. Well one day he asked me in class if he could borrow my book, so of course I said yes and let him have it. When I got it back from him he had put the word "PIG" in huge letters on the inside cover. Of course he gave it back to me in front of all his friends and I saw the writing and I just wanted to cry and run away, I was so hurt. Well of course instead I beat the crap outta him in front of all his friends. BUT he actually had the balls to call that night and think he was gonna come over.....what an idiot, I never talked to him again...so Fugi Sandoval if you are out there somewhere, I would kick your a** again if I saw you right in front of all your friends you big sissy-la-la!!! hahahahaa :lol:

The other day I was reading a story on another website where this grown woman about 300 lbs was walking down the street and there were 5 grown adults behind her, 3 men and 2 ladies, all dressed up in suits. They were mooooooooing her so she turned to see if they were doing it at her (she was praying they werent) but they were, when they passed her on the street the one guy said "those aren't earings in your ear, they're ear tags."

Riding on the lawn mower is such a joy when all the rolls join in to jiggle my spine out of whack.

I like not knowing what color my toenail polish is when my girls paint them.

I want to stay fat because I love having my father give me photos of me and his wife he takes when I'm tired and uncomfortable to be there, but mostly I love cutting my face/body out of the picture. I love how I make lots of little shreds of black paper because that's the only color I'll wear . But mostly I love when I do get my picture taken with this women, I always think of her and love her kind words as she handed me stack of photos while telling me I look like I'm ready to have triplets in one of the pics. Thankfully, she was in a kind mood when she said this. :p

I love being fat because when security guards at the airport "pat me down" for nail clippers and explosives I can harvest their rings and watches in my rolls.

I love being fat because my boy when he was little could say to me "Mom, there is a (insert name of school function here) tonight, and all the parents are going, but you don't have to".

I love being fat because when I am looking over the flavor selections at Baskin-Robbins I can scare the **** out of people just coming in - suddenly they don't want ice cream anymore.

I love being fat because it is so much easier than doing the right thing and changing my life.

I've thought of more - who knew morbid obesity could be this much fun?!?

I love it when I stand up and the armchair comes with me.

I love it when I have to sit backwards at the type of picnic table where the bench is attached to the table and can't be moved waaaay back.

I love getting in the car and pulling the seatbelt out ...and out....and out before I can buckle it around myself.

I love looking at my skinny clothes every year since 1985 and thinking "Oh, yeah, by this time next year..."

I love looking at clothing catalogs, finding something non-ugly, and finding out that it does indeed come in plus-size, but not quadruple-extra-voluminous-why-don't-you-just-stay-home size.

I loved being the center of attention when people asked when I was due (and I wasn't pregnant)

I never had to worry about what to wear because I only have one pair of jeans and 3 rotating shirts that fit.

All the plus-sized fashions are just like the thin ones, because everybody knows plus-sized women are just like thin women, only bigger. Especially bridesmaid's dresses.

I love having months on end of potential energy with me at all times - just in case I end up starving in the desert somewhere.

I love going through chairs at work faster than anyone else in my department.

I wouldn't know what to do when someone says, "Nice body!" anyway.

This trend is so funny even though, so much of it is so true for me too :)) One thing i love about being skinny, is having to walk to the end of the store to find the "cool" fat clothes!!!

And then went on to offer added advice I didn't ask for by saying, "We're sorry, but there are no clothes in this dressing room that will fit you." I want to stay fat because I wouldn't know what to do with all the spare time I WASN'T spending tugging at my clothing to hide various parts, or re-applying deodorant because I sweat too much. Also, I love spending extra time in the bath because there's so much to wash!

I would also miss wearing Lycra shorts under all my skirts to keep away the heat rash produced by my thighs rubbing together.

And how could I abandon those swimsuits with the adorable little skirts? They bring back so many fond memories of Grandma.

I love the sound of hysterical laughter comming from my husband as he is watching me try to get 3X panty hose up my huge thighs and but with out cutting of my circulation, or him asking when I try to get them off if I need a knife! :rolleyes:

at the first sign of nice days I would dread having to take the kids to the pool

being the fattest wife at work parties was always so embarrasing and made me feel bad for dh

my 12 year old was embarrased to claim me at school or be seen with me in public places

it was always my fat chins that people noticed and judged.

I only had 1 pair of jeans to wear and the thighs on them were wearing thin

When I had gas in bed, he was able to tell everyone that I blew his leg off of me. 3. When I turned over in bed one night, I broke his toe. 4. He got a hernia by lifting me out of bed when I had hernia surgery.

1) It was fun squeezing into the tiny airplane seat and having my size 22 crop jeans cut into my stomach.

2) I like having to use a mirror to shave my bikini area, then running out of breath and getting light headed when I bent over to shave my legs in the shower.

3) I enjoyed shopping for hours to find a sexy little size 22 baiting suite that I could wear on the beach next to all the skinny girls! Woo Hoo Sexy me!!!

4) It was comforting knowing that I had built in size 44DD floatation devises in case the plane went down in the ocean.

5) I loved the way my legs painfully rubbed together while taking a romantic walk on the beach with my DH.

6) I loved going snorkeling and then having to be pulled back in the boat by two guys, when all of the other girls only need one to pull them up. I'm sure my husband didn't notice. Yea right!

7) Most of all, I think I enjoyed looking at all of the pictures of my bloated up face, and fat rolls! I can't wait to show all of our friends and family our vacation pictures. :o

I just loved it when those hospital gowns wouldn't fit all the way around me and the nurses made a big production of trying to find an extra large gown for me and usually ended up bringing 2 gowns, 1 for the front and 1 for the back. Also when they'd say they couldn't find a vein because they were "too deep". Why didn't they just say, you're too darn FAT.

One reason I love being fat is that even when my son wont, I still have something sitting in my lap (my tummy).

I love being fat because I would hate it if I caught my DH looking at me like he does some of the women on TV.

Lol, my favorite reason for being fat was I never had to paint my own toenails. My DH or DD did it for me. LOL

And finally I loved being fat because I just felt good about myself and had so many friends.

It has been a few years and I am thankful that these reasons and my daughters needing a mom that could keep up with them motivated me to change, but it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. ( worth it though)
