Hope that you have a great day also! Well....Thursday is finally here. It's my day off and one more day closer to the weekend ;) Got a lot planned for the day today. Need to get vehicle cleaned up, do some housework, and pack a few things for the beach trip. Unfortunately we have a meeting this afternoon at work. I hate it when I have to go in for a meeting on my day off, really screws up my day. After the meeting, it's off to the nephews baseball game. I have to go today, as I missed last weeks games! Was wondering...has anyone seen Tummy Girl, Southern Girl, or Froufy? Maybe I've just missed their posts, but was thinking I haven't seen them lately. Hope everything is OK with them! And hope you both have a good day :) Lisa: I haven't seen a post by any of them. Wonder where they went. Maybe computer/internet trouble like I had. Hope nothing else. Why can't they schedule your meetings for when you're there?? lol :D Well, only 4 hours today and then 4 tomorrow and the weekend will be here!! And luckily DH gets paid tomorrow so we can go get some food. I made pumpkin bars last night.....ate 2 of them. Then proceeded to eat 1/2 the bag of pistacchios. Dang it I'm gonna have to tell DH to help me not buy them anymore. The good thing is (and weird) is that the scale (yup, I'm back to stepping on it daily again) says I'm down another pound. Saturday it'll be official and I figure I'll be happy if it's just 1 pound (1 pound a week would be cool!!!!!). Maybe this exercise stuff DOES have something to do with it :lol: Shimma 04-22-2004, 09:27 AM Morning all you fat-melting people! It's a beautiful morning here and thank goodness for that. I haven't been able to walk all week because of the crappy weather. On a positive note, I have deep cleaned the apartment. I get to see the BF tomorrow and I weighed in to see if that other pound was still gone.... and I'm down another pound! It must be the results of coming of TOM. I usually drop 3-5 lbs after it hits. I'm still reluctant to post the pound and I'm FAR from posting the pound I was down today. Ok, I just confused myself :P I had to put a belt on this morning so my jeans wouldn't fall down at work.... and I pushed the belt to where I needed it to be.... and had to make a HOLE!!!! It was way past all the holes on the belt and this is the very same belt that used to feel too tight if it was on the second hole. So, I'm pretty happy this morning. Another thing that's fabulous was this past weekend I dug out the ARMY shirt I had stolen off an ex bf that was super skinny. Now, this shirt was skin tight on him and before when I wore it my belly was soooo gross in it. This past weekend I wore it to a bonfire with my boyfriend and that shirt made my tummy look so flat (it isn't) and made my boobs look huge (they aren't). Well, I finally got the courage up to step on the scale and as I expected it is up....quite a bit.....but still, I deserve this. I changed my signature weight to reflect this disaster! I don't think I have ever had pistachios- but I love me some almonds. I've got a recipe I want to try for cinnamon muffins. They're only supposed to be like 1.5 grams of carbs (gonna check it on THAT one for sure!!) or something like that. The witch is away doing errands (yes, she SHOULD be in the office working but she does this a lot) so I'm boss-free for a while. I'm feeling fine this morning but my poor friend D is terribly hung over. Note: do not drink when you've had very little food all day! Other than that, not much new. I'm down a pound - yippee! I'm only 4 pounds away from my all-time lowest adult weight. I'm 11 pounds LESS than what I weighed in high school. It's terribly exciting :D Fullfig - I'm still just so dang happy that you're back! Mrs H - I've seen Froufy, but not the other two. Hmmmmmmmm..... Have fun at the game today! Brenda - WTG on the pound! I'm getting that recipe and trying them tonight. I can't wait! With the wedding last weekend I feel like I haven't gotten time to relax in weeks.. well um I haven't.. and I'm CRYING out for a weekend to do absolutly nothing. Today it was simply gorgeous out, I got home from work, ate a little, donned the headsets and went for a wonderful walk. I actually caught myself smiling on a few occassions. I'm guessing it to be about 2.5 miles, but I really have no clue. How do you girls estimate how far you've walked? Brenda - All this talk about pumpkin bars.. can you say drool.. after posting I'm going to go dig up your recipe and give em a whirl. I've also found that adding more foods I'm losing weight more quickly. Must be the fiber :lol: Shimma - Great news about the belt! I was just thinking today as I was walking and my pants were nearing my knees that I need to invest in one. I've never had reason to own one before, my pants were always a tad tight.. but now.. geesh I'm drowning in em. Jane - Don't beat yourself up... a few pounds is no biggie.. I don't usually rotate but we have had some people out on vacation and I am just the most likely candidate to pull to different shift because I don't complain. I usually work 3p-3a.... so no Brenda I hit the bed about 9AM my time and am up now to do my afternoon running for the kiddos prior to going to work to night. Yep.. I know it... On Monday, I was offered a position... a CONTRACT POsition to be the Crochet/Knit Coordinator for a Craft Publisher. I accepted it! It is soooo cool because I can work from home and I will be incharge of all production from Finding patterns and designers to creating the schedule to laying out the books to print! So needless to say I have been swamped and will be for a few days. once I get everything set up and my office set up.. I will be ready to go again! Eating and exercise have been good. I still am getting up early to work out. Had a problem yesterday with my asthma so I had to stop mid run. But I am trying again tomorrow. Hope all are well and I will try to get on early tomorrow! Chiro appt., etc) in the afternoon I don't get my exercise in. So looks like I don't make my goal of exercising 4 days this week. GRRR. I also have to stay away from those pistacchios if I'm not going to be exercising. I've gotta admit I feel guilty for not exercising. It's not like the WATP takes forever to do. And even though taebo is more energetic it doesn't take long either.
