Good morning. Hope everyone had a great night. I filled Easter eggs last night and did not eat a single piece of candy. Afterwards, I ate an orange. :D We'll just see how today goes. I think I had a better night last night, except those danged dogs, well the male, barked all night. Didn't bother me too bad, but the female, as smart as she is, just stayed in her little dog house, I'm sure rolling her eyes at that male, thinking to herself how stupid he was, standing in the cold wind, and rain barking at nothing. I tried to tell her yesterday, her name is Avry, and I told her that those males are just stupid and there's nothing we can do about it.

Spryng - does your dh come home this weekend? Sure hate it if he's not. Does your family live close so you have somewhere to spend Easter? Hope so.

We are not currently involved in church right now, because I can't find one I like. They're either too small, too big, not enough kids or something. So instead, we are having church here today. After breakfast, we are all getting our Easter clothes on and sitting around the table to say a prayer, read the Easter Story, read some passages in the bible and color some Easter pictures. I thought my kids will get more out of that than if they were in church and bored like most kids are. Besides, my dh wasn't going to church, so this way, he'll be home and maybe join in with us. I think it'll be fun.
I wish everyone a great, safe and Happy Easter. I won't be back on to check in until late, then my Alias comes on but not til 9pm tonight.

My daughter had her egg hunt this morning in our living room and just went wild!! And We are going to my sisters for dinner but all I can eat is the Ham lol oh well. Well I just thought I would come post a quick hello. Have a great day!

Woo Hooooo Guys!!! I lost 4 more lbs!!!!!!! 4 lbs since I started Atkins 4 days ago, 7lbs since Ive been dieting!!! Im sooo excited Im actually gonna make it this time I just know it :D Yayyyyy!!!! Just thought I would come share my news!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Ours was very nice...too bad it wasn't warmer. Will went out with Dh while he did some preliminary work on the deck and he had to have his winter hat and coat on. I was going to take Tony, but decided he didn't need to be out in the cold. Don't know what the high was but wasn't expected to get out of the 30's today. :( It'll warm up in a couple of days.

Our date last night was a lot of fun. Next time we'll forgo the hotel room 'cause it's expensive and we really missed the boys this morning. Dinner was wonderful and then we went to the casino...came out about even. Dh is good at keeping me in control :lol: or we would have been down money. Someone asked how old the boys are...Will's almost 3 and Tony's almost 1. Grandma just eats it up when she stays over. She always says they're such good boys....hmmm where are those boys when I'm alone with them :devil: :devil: ??

Well, I'm getting ready to hit the exercise for me tonight...I'll hit the 3 mile walk with extra energy tomorrow morning. I had my Recess egg and it was... orgasmic :o ;) :D I could eat all 6 of them.

okay, that's better. Now then, how is everyone? I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC EASTER. I'll tell you, I have no idea how many points I had becuase I don't have a list of all the points and I haven't figured them out just yet through fitday and then the calculator. I didn't do great, but I don't think I made all the way through my flex points too, I had more of the desserts than I should have. You know, though, I've learned over the years, that one day off plan like that does NOT mess everything up. I did great most of last week and I intend on doing great this week so that was just one day, and I'll jump back on board.

Michelle, hooray for you. That is AWESOME. So proud of you.

Well, my TOM is ALWAYS screwed up, and I mean always, but out of the clear blue this morning it snuck up. Glad to know I'm not pregnant and figured out that maybe why I couldn't take the temptation yesterday.

You are doing awesome! You can lose a great bit of weight if you just stick with it! My cousin has lost 70 pounds on Atkins!

Here are seven simple get-that-excess-weight-off ideas :

A spoonful of sugar can add up over the course of a year. Add one less teaspoon sugar (15 calories) to your cup of morning and afternoon coffee each day and you'll save about 10,000 calories the equivalent of about 3 pounds per year.

Slim down that bowl of cereal: Switch from 1 cup regular whole milk to 1% milk (about 50 calories less per cup) every day. Once your taste buds adjust, you'll be thrilled! That's a tad more than 5 pounds lost by this same time next year.

Take the scenic route. Park your car as far as possible from the entrance to your office, the shopping mall or a restaurant and get those legs pumping. Ten minutes of daily moderate paced walking (five minutes each way burns about 20 calories) can take off four-plus pounds a year*.

Get your vitamin C boost with a whole orange (60 calories) instead of a cup of juice (110 calories) each day. Ka-ching, ka-ching! Your 12-month savings: 5 1/4 pounds.

Go calorie-free by switching from regular to diet soda (150 versus 0 calories per can). If you drink one can per day, that's nearly 16 pounds lost in a year.

Flavor-up your sandwiches with very low-cal condiments like mustard or vinegar instead of calorie-packed butter. Leave off 1 tablespoon (100 calories) every day and you're looking at close to 10 1/2 pounds a year.

Downsize, don't super-size, fast food meals. Opt for a small McDonald's French fries (210 calories) instead of a large order (450 calories) at your weekly fast-food meal. You'll enjoy the same great taste all year long but with an added bonus: 3 1/2 pounds lost.

Penny, thanks for the's amazing how a little change can add up to so much. I know I have been doing really well with my exercise but I'm trying to make it a normal part of life so when I skip a day I feel a bit guilty (guilt...story of my life :lol: )....especially at Easter when I was eating some chocolate. Oh well, this holiday is over and almost all the candy is gone because we didn't buy much at all. Are you back on plan now? Sure hope so becuase you were doing great and I know you can continue!! :coach: :cheer:

Crystal...better TOM than pregnancy :p unless of course you want to be pregnant! Hope you get over it quickly and it doesn't give you too many cravings. You're right about one day not ruining your whole's way to easy to give in after one day though!

Tonight is my WI. I think I will lose but sure wish I could get over the night time snacking. It was so much better this week but I need to get totally away from it again. Thursday was the worst because I was watching ER upstairs way too close to the kitchen. My goal for this week is NO SNACKING!! Check on me everyday and make me report in please ladies!!

Well I did post yesterday on the old thread... I had no idea a new one had been started. So if I may, Michelle thanks for starting the new thread but when you do can you tell us on the old thread that a new one has been started? I go by email notification so I don't search the forums anymore to see if a new one had been started. Thanks so much, it would be appreciated.

Well, I'm kinda out of it right now. Couldn't figure out why no one was posting and now I found the new thread and am way behind on posts so I'll post later.

I think late night snacking is the worse (on me too) That is when your body holds on to the excess food.

I am back on plan and Yes still on SB. I have never made it over to ww. I just keep dreading all that planning. So I have to do what I am comfortable with and white carbs I can limit and not have a problem.

Anyhow! Have a great on plan day!

:) Hi everyone, I hope the day after Easter is much easier than Easter itself!

Crystal-I can understand your relief at TOM rather than pregnancy. Isn't funny that when you're trying for a baby you are so disappointed with TOM, but when you aren't ready yet it is quite the opposite! Last month I was afraid I was pregnant and with an 8 month old, I am just not ready for that yet!!!!

Michelle :D Congratulations! I was so happy to hear about your success. It must be nice to see that, especially at the beginning when it can be pretty dang hard to stick to the plan.

Geri-I'm with you on the nightime snacking. It is hard for me too. Maybe we can check on eachother this week.

Penny-Thanks for posting that list. It is true that small changes make a difference, I think what would make the biggest difference for me is if I can conquer my addiction to sweets!!!

Well, I wish I could say that my Easter was super virtuous, but I'm afraid not. But I'm ready to get the show on gear today, and I plan on reporting tonight that things have gone well, and that I have stuck with my alloted amount of points. I'll catch up with everyone later.

Penny, thanks for those tips, it's funny I do or don't do most of those now. I only use mustard, I drink coffee black, I only drink diet soda and only once or twice a week. I guess my problems lye elsewhere.

Geri, it's funny I don't have a tough time snacking at night. The other night, my dh sat down with a pint of Rocky Road ice cream, while I had an orange. Wasn't bad. In fact, most of my night snacking is on fruit or a few sugar free cookies. I guess my problem is still elsewhere, huh.

Jessi, I found out I was pregnant with my third when my second was 9 months old. I cried at first, but it was okay. And I do NOT want to be pregnant. My TOM is NEVER regular so I like never know if I am or what's up with my body. Nonetheless, I'm not.

You know usually after being off plan one day it does screw you up, but for some reason, I didn't have a single problem going off plan yesterday and jumping right back in today. Oh well, I won't complain.

Crystal - Aren't those desserts a killer? Man my sister had easter cupcakes set out and I was almost drooling, I never used to think much of sweets until I couldnt have them lol.

I managed not to go off plan too much yesterday, I only had a brownie for dessert and no more than I ate throughout the day, I may have not been off my target at all. Ya know, that brownie wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be.

I am going to work on a more formal exercise routine starting this week. I think I can do my WATP 3 mile without much difficulty, so I will start there. I'd love to say I will do it first thing in the AM, but I never seem to get with it quickly enough. Either way I need to set aside a time for it.

Love to see all the progress and all the winning attitudes from everyone. what a great group!

I haven't posted in a couple of days. I get these migraines and I just have to stay off the computer for awhile.
Glad to hear everyone had a good Easter.
I cheated over the weekend. I stayed at my Moms Saturday. She has a big backyard and the kids love it. We all had Mexican takeout. But I knew I could get back on the wagon Monday. Used to if I did that, I would just figure what the hay, I messed up and and I would just give up, but I'm learning. :D
I just got back from the gym and my house is always a wreck after the weekend, so I got work to do. :(
I'll post more later when I have time to read all the posts I've missed. I just wanted to say hi since its been awhile.

Mary, so glad your migraines are better today. Do you take something for them? Don't worry about being off plan a couple of days... aslong as you are OP today and the rest of the week you should be fine! :)
Cindi, sounds like you did great over the weekend! I'm looking forward to this new week also.
Michelle, hope you got that walk in! It's been cold here the past couple of days but thurs through next week we are getting a real warm up! Maybe I'll get brave and take my kids for a walk too! And congrats on that 4 lbs gone!!!! Seeing that scale move down will definitely keep you motivated.
Crystal, glad you were able to get right back OP today too. I am like that too... I can go off on the weekend (even though I did great this past weekend) and come monday I'm right back OP.
Jessi, I got pregnant with my 2nd baby when Ava was only 2 months old... so I know the shock that can come with an unexpected pregnancy. I have Mirena now and even though it's 99% effective I'm still relieved to see TOM every month. :) And I hope you are able to stay OP today too and report a good day tonight! We are here for you!

Geri, when you started Dr.Phil what kept you from snacking then?? What has changed? I know you can do it!!! And yes we can keep you accountable. :)

Well, my day is getting better. My LTT (lateral thigh trainer) broke yesterday so now I have to send it back. Where the peddle was atached it cracked in two and now it hits the floor and is hard to steady yourself on. So that really sucked. Who knows how long it will take to get another one in. Maybe I'll just get a refund and do pilates and The Firm again. Then this morning it was just one thing after another happening. Had an argument with DH which upset me alot. We hardly ever fight and I was already having a bad day and something he said sent me over the edge. I am so sick of going out of my way for his family and it never being reciprocated. I get WIC, which is very handy for Tanner since formula is so expensive. Well it was time to recertify Ava and Joseph and that takes hours at our stupid health department. Joseph is my monster and he never cooperates so they can weigh him and all that and usually my SIL will go with me to help but this time she couldn't and didn't want to go, but her name is on my vouchers I get so she can take several of my vouchers for my in-laws even though she gets her own vouchers too for her kids. Ok, long story short... I didn't want to get Ava and Joseph recertified for several reasons... 1. it's a hassle and I only go through maybe a gallon and half of milk a MONTH! so I can buy it myself really. 2. It would have been too hard for me to do it by myself. 3. If I took DH's current pay stub (which I have to do) they would see we make too much to get WIC for them anyway. So since I missed my appointment I called them to see when I can get Tanner's vouchers for formula, which is all I need help with anyway and he's not due to be recertified until he turns one, in which case he won't need formula anymore, he'll be on milk. And just took Ava and Bubba off the account. When I told DH this is told me how selfish I am because his parents really wanted those vouchers. But I was so mad because they never call me or check in on me unless they want those stupid vouchers!!!!! They aren't low income so technically they can buy their own milk!!! They always take advantage of the system so they get stuff handed to them and I'm sick of it. They aren't going to do it through me anymore. But it hurt my feelings that he felt that way. He always takes their side when it comes to this issue (because I've been wanting to do this for quite some time now) and it irritates me. Well anyway... I'm ranting and I'll stop now. It just really hurt. But since then he called and apologized to me about it all and realized that all his parents were doing was using me. And said he understood. So we made up and I feel much better now. Just a crazy morning. Sorry for going on and on about it, just needed to vent.
But anyway, I think I'll go do some crunches. TTYL!

Mary - Sorry to hear about your migraines I can sympathize I get them 2-3 times a week and take imitrex and blood pressure meds to help stop them, if you aren't treated for them you may want to talk to your family physician :D

Hmmmm dinner tonight? I think I'll have some scrambled eggs and bacon, man oh man though today I am craving a big glass of cold milk, maybe the first day after induction I'll treat myself to one :)

Wow, everyone must be busy tonight. Hope to see more posts tomorrow. :) Did everyone end the day like they wanted to? Geri? Late night snacking?
Michelle, I think after induction you will deserve a big glass of milk!! You are doing great so far! How is your Dh doing? Has he peeked at the scale too?

My evening has been great. The kids were just great today. I needed that. Dinner was pretty good. Very filling. During naptime I did get in a small workout, mostly crunches but at least it is something. I'm going to try to get a little bit of exercise in everyday instead of just 3 times a week. Did anyone watch The Swan tonight? That woman's belly (the dark headed one) is alot like mine. Mine doesn't sag as much as that but it has the same belly button folds and stretch marks, yuck. I can't afford a tummy tuck so lets pray exercise will help me!!!!! I wanted the blonde to make it into the pageant though, she was really great with the whole thing, such a great attitude. I did think she was pretty before the plastic surgery though... I don't know why no one else did.
Well, now I am just decompressing from the day. *deep breath in.... release.... * feels good, lol. Ok, guess I'll get off here. Hope everyone had a great OP day!!! Hey does anyone want to start a new challenge? TTYL!

Spryng, so glad your evening went better than your day! Don't apologize for venting...that's one of the things we're here for! So do you have to pay to ship your LTT back or did it come with a label in case you had to return it? I'm not going to say anything about your ILs as I don't know them...OK, I'll just say "Thank God they're not mine" ;) Sorry you have to deal with that.
Can you post the beef tips recipe? Sounds good even though I'm not wild about beef in the're thinking, what do I like in the crock pot?? I like pork :) )

Michelle, too funny that you're having something like bacon for dinner but craving milk!! Usually it's the other way around. :lol: Glad you're doing so well OP.

Hi Ginny!

Cindi, I usually don't do the WATP until after I and the boys have had breakfast so often it's betw 8:30 and 9 before I get started. Luckily, I rarely have to get out of the house very early. If I have to make appointments I try to get them in the early afternoon. Once I'm dressed I don't want to get all sweated up again. Doesn't always work that way but does the majority of the time.

I didn't snack about everyone else? I did eat a very late dinner though. The afternoon got away from me and if I would have eaten before my TOPS meeting I would have had to wolf something down so I opted to eat afterward. I had a big salad, a whole wheat muffin with light cheese on it and some s/f jello with f/f cool whip for dessert. I'm full and ready to read and hit the sack.

I lost 3.5 pounds this week! I knew I was bloated last week when I weighed in...I did snack too much also but I should have lost some so it caught up with me this week. I'm motivated to not snack this week so keep me honest...I'll do the same for all of you who have the same problem as I do!!
I am down a size in jeans also!! Yippee!!

Spryng-Hubby checked the scale today but we dont know what he weighed when we started lol, I was trying to get him to join 3fc in the mens corner but he's not much of a know men.....*sigh* I think since Im craving milk that I may need to take a calcium supplement or a daily vitamin, I was told once by a doctor that if your craving something its usually your body telling you that you need some sort of mineral or vitamin besides, that doesnt include our sugar/sweet cravings those are just plain ol addictions.
Well for dinner I had cheese quesadillas on the low carb tortillas and a glass of Iced tea, Ive only eaten twice today, I really wasnt hungry at breakfast time so I just ate lunch and dinner. But I feel pretty good except Im a little tired still, it will pass though.

Spryng- so sorry to hear about your day. You know, though, you were beginning to sound too together if you know what I mean. Glad to know that you have those days too, although I'm not glad you did. I hope you understand that.

Michelle- doing great.

Well, my dinner was chicken and vegetables over brown rice with Feta sauce. I won't be making that one again. I've been on plan today, my snack was a WW giant ice cream sundae, only 2 pts. That was good. Didn't get to exercise, it's been cold and rainy here, but with TOM I don't feel like it. The first day of TOM is always tough on me. The weather will be getting better everyday. I hope everyone has a great night and a good tomorrow. I'll check in then.

Congrats Geri!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic WI and two NSV's!! (non-scale victories) 1 fornot snacking tonight and 2 for going down a jeans size!!!!!! That is wonderful. You are going all the way this time!! I don't think I have to pay the shipping because it did come with return sticker thingies. But I'll know when I call UPS. But I'm not going to let this affect my workouts, I'm going to exercise regardless of what I have around the house. Like today I didn't even do a video, I just did my own thing and it felt good. A little combination of pilates and old fashioned crunches. That was funny about you and the crock pot.... but I think you can use pork instead of beef in this recipe. It's very onion-y... so if you like onions (which I love them in recipes just not plain) then you should like this one. I'll post it on the mom's losing weight website though so it doesn't take up so much room here.
Michelle, do you eat much cheese? Because that has calcium too. Do you take a multivitamin? I take one a day weight smart and usually have one of the kids chewable vitamins too. Really keeps me feeling good physically. I haven't been sick in over a year (knock on wood) and I think it's because of the vitamins. Quesadillas sound so good. I may have to look into that :) You must be in full fledge ketosis if you aren't hungry anymore. Doesn't that feel great!! And you are losing weight really fast so that is why you feel tired. You are right though, it will pass once you are off induction.

Crystal you snuck in on me, lol. That sundae sounds good!!! How giant is it?? Any chocolate on it?? I may have to get some. :) Can't beat 2 pts for icecream!! I do understand what you meant about me... proves we all have bad days huh? :) When I have a bad day it is a very very bad day so thankfully I don't get too many of them. I feel too together sometimes too and when something bad happens I realize I am very fragile and have to be careful with my emotions or someday I'll be in the looney bin, LOL. Sad but true. But I know you all understand because that is part of not only being a woman but a mother and wife. We have to be so strong and so independant and at the same time we are very weak sometimes and need someone to carry us. Such is life. But you ladies are so great just for putting up with me! ;) BTW, my Dh was in Texas two days ago and it was very warm where he was. What kind of weather are you getting now? Right now he is in Pennsilvania getting lots of rain.

Crystal - sorry to hear that your chicken didnt turn out as well as you would have liked. I have a recipe for these great mandarin orange/ginger pork chops and you can server them over rice, my whole family likes them if you like I can send you the recipe. :D

Geri - I didn't end up having the bacon I actually made cheese quesadillas on low carb tortillas only 4 net carbs per tortilla, so I used my carbs on supper. WTG on the 3.5 lb loss :cheer: :balloons:

I made some strawberry sugar free jello so I could have something sweet tomorrow :) and I may make some whipped cream with splenda so I can have a topper :D kind of a treat for doing so good :).

I have a question...How often do you guys weigh yourselves? Once a week or so? I can't wait til I can go into a smaller size jeans :D

Good night everyone,

Thought I would just post before going to bed. Things went quite well today. I stuck to my WW points and didn't feel too deprived at all!!! I had a really yummy dinner, pork chops with onion gravy, mashed potatoes, and asparagus with mushrooms, also made low-fat pumpkin muffins and had one for dessert (yum!!) I didn't get a full workout because I was doing laundry and taxes today, so that and a baby who wants to be held all the time kinda kept me busy. I got in a quick but intense 15 minutes. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Mary- I'm sorry to hear you were suffering with migraine, that would put a damper on anyone's weekend.

Spryng-Sounds like you had a very stressful day. It sounds like it picked up toward the end though. I can't believe you found out you were pregnant when you had a 2 month old, you must have been one worn-out woman for awhile. I think Crystal said she became pregnant with her 3 when her 2 was 9 months old. I don't know how you ladies did it. With this pregnancy I threw up 4-5 times a day for 4 months, so that is part of my motivation for wanting to wait awhile for number 2. I watched the first episode of the Swan, but did not see it tonight. I find it pretty interesting though.

Cindi-I'm glad you did so well on Easter! That's great! Isn't funny that sometimes something so sweet and decadent as a brownie doesn't taste as good once you actually eat it.

Geri-Good job not snacking tonight. I have a goal of stopping my eating at 8:30 and tonight I achieved that, so I was happy too.

Michelle-I'm really amazed how well you are doing with Atkins, especially with Easter! Keep up that good work, you are inspiring.

Crystal-You said you had a giant WW Sundae, what is that? It sounds fabulous...Let me know, I'm always looking for low point WW desserts.

Okay, Good Morning. I had a great night. Didn't get to exercise yesterday but still feel good. Looks as though everyone came back for posting last night. Still haven't heard much from Ricci, Ginny, Penny...

Spryng- your dinner sounded pretty good. I love cooking things in oven or crockpot that just cooks all day. Those make the best meals. This WW giant ice cream sundae was vanilla ice cream swirled in chocolate syrup. Very Good, it was 8 oz. :D Found with other ice cream snacks. I've had a couple of the kinds of WW frozen snacks, they are all good. You dh came to Texas when it was feeling great. Over Easter it started to rain and dropped to the 50's. Can you believe that? It's slowly creeping back up this week and I think that was our last cold snap. I hope so. We want to all get out and play with our new dogs but it's too cold for us.

You can see the pen with the dogs from my girls' room, so yesterday they sat in there and watched dh work with the dogs and then they would run back in the dining room and look out the door when he was on this side of the house, then they would run back to their room, it was funny watching every move he made. The other day he built the pen for them and Alisa, my oldest, watched him out the window like all day and I asked her why. She said so when he builds another fence she'll know how and can help him. Wasn't that too cute.

Michelle- you are doing so good. Sorry you're having to deal with the bad times too like miagrains. But I think all that will pass soon.

Jessi- you are doing good. I think 15 minutes of intensity is great.

Well, I have to go pack my dh's lunch for the day. Everyone have a good one and TTYL.

Penny - I know where you are with wanting to wean. I so want to get this weight off, but I want JW to get all the benefits.

Crystal - TOM hit me hard. First one since the baby, but it only lasted 3 days.

Started SB with dh yesterday, he is doing better than me. I had a reese egg with skim milk, took 15 min to eat so that I could savor every bite. Sneaked on the scale today and the pms weight is gone, so hopefully more by the end of the week. I will be off and on today. It is raining, so I don't think we will go out today.

Crystal, cute story about the girls watching Daddy. Will does that with Dh too. It's fun to watch.

Jessi & others (sorry I have to take some good notes one of these days so I can keep straight who is on what plan!! :lol: )...good that WW is working for you. It's a great plan and allows you to cave into cravings once in a while so you should never feel deprived. I love chocolate so I used to keep the Hershey's miniatures in the freezer...1 pt each so I could have some everyday. Even 1 or 2 will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Cindi...boy I never met a brownie I could pass on :D ! The sweet taste of the Recess Easter treat I had still keeps me going :smug: . You should have seen how long it took to eat! I had a cup of decaf with it and savored every single bite! Thankfully, they're no longer in the house! My mom got 2, I had 1, and dh ate the rest so that they wouldn't tempt me ;) what a sacrifice for him!

Mary, hope you're feeling better! Never had a migrane so I have no idea how it feels. :(

Ginny, Penny, Melinda, Ricci, and everyone else out there....hope you have an OP day. Don't know how much I'll be on today. Mom's coming over again today, tomorrow and Thursday. We're going to plant a veggie garden this year and it needs a lot of prep work. She loves working in the yard and since she lives in an apartment, she works in mine! Works for me :D

Melinda, that is so sweet of you to say that. I may submit my story once I reach my goal weight. I just don't really have any before pictures because I refused to take any when I started because I hated what I looked like them, but now I wish I had! You all should definitely take some before pictures, especially you Geri, we'd all love to see what you look like when you hit your goal!! I'm glad you savored that reese egg! Sounds like something I would do.
Crystal, was that ice cream sundae a smart ones dessert?? Sounds like something I would love. Dairy Queen has low fat ice cream and their choclate is very good and only 2 pts for a cup. I get that every now and then as a treat, but very seldom do I have 2 pts to spare after dinner.
Jessi, that is so great that WW is fitting into your life. That is what I love about it, I never really feel deprived. For every high fat food out there there is something you can make or buy that is pts friendly, and for those certain things you only want full of fat you have flex points for! So it always works out. 15 min of exercise is great! You probably earned 1 AP for that!! And yes, finding out I was pregnant while already taking care of an infant was stressful. But now I wouldn't change it for anything. They are so close (11 months apart) that sometimes they act like twins. People always think they are twins because my son an inch taller than my daughter (my firstborn) and a little heavier. But they are both small for their age. Ava is 4 and only weighs 25 lbs. Joseph is 3 and weighs about 27 lbs, they are both in 2T clothes still. :) Small. (Ava has such a little waist that I still have to pin the 2T pants, but they fit her in length.) but anyway... she was already walking by the time Jospeh arrived so it made it a little easier to care for another newborn. That year went by so fast.
Michelle, I weigh myself once a week. Friday is my official WI day. I may peek at the scale during the week (rare) but I won't post anything until I WI on fridays. What is your WI day?

Did I tell you all Tanner is starting to walk? He took his first steps on saturday!!!! I was so excited. I can't remember if I told you all or not. He's 9 1/2 months old and now every day is takes several steps before sitting or falling down. Too cute. My DH can't wait to see him do it. But he does things out of order. Like he started crawling before he could even sit up by himself, so he would crawl and then have to lay down because he couldn't sit up, after a couple weeks he was able to sit up. Now he is starting to walk but he can't really stand alone! So he will take several steps and then quickly sit down or fall because he can't keep his balance and just stand alone. Weird huh? :) I can't wait until he is walking well so we can take them all to the zoo!
What does everyone have planned for today? I'm just going to start getting this house in order before Dh comes in on friday. So cleaning for me. I'm making pork chops for dinner tonight. Not sure about sides yet. What are you making? This saturday is our city wide yard sale so I can't wait to get up early and go do that! Then that afternoon we plan on taking the kids to the big park and fish and bbq!! Maybe we can call the rest of the family and see if they want to come too. It's suppose to be 80 degrees that day, perfect for being outside! :cool: OK, guess I'll get off here. Hope everyone is having a great tuesday!!!

Geri, you snuck in on me!! I will take you up on that phone call!! :) I love talking to you! Have fun planting your veggie garden. I'm thinking of getting a few tomato plants myself, but keeping them in buckets, not in the ground. Can I do that? if I put them in the back yard they wouldn't have a chance with my kids, lol, so I need to plan them in planters and put them in the front yard somewhere. But I love home grown tomatoes sliced with a little salt on them, yum! Ok, I do have to get started on this house or I never will today... TTYL!
