Carb Counters - Rewards?

Do you have a reward (big or small) that you have promised yourself if you reach your goal(s)?


DH and I promised each other that if we lose the weight we want by New Years of next year that we would have a huge night out. I mean like prom again. :lol: I get to buy a new dress, get my hair and makeup done and get completely dolled up. He gets to buy a new outfit and whatever. Then we are going to go out to the infamous Ghost Bar at the Palms Casino and strut our stuff! :devil: I have never been to a club, much less one with a dress code like that. The club is actually at the top of the casino (I don't know how many stories) and has a big deck with a glass bottom that extends out over the pool down below on the first floor.

I am also going to buy myself a new cute and fashionable wardrobe that following spring/summer.

It would be amazing if I could get one of those complete make overs where you just walk in and say "This is me" and you can actually TRUST them to let you walk out ok. :lol: I just can't justify (at least right now) spending that kind of money for my hair and makeup. Plus they always color it and you have to keep it up.

My reward (if my belly gets flat) is to get my bellybutton pierced. Not cuz I wanna show it off but cuz I think it looks cool (or neat. Depends on the word you wanna use :lol: ).

I'm getting a backless shirt and going clubbing when I get to goal.

I'm also going to buy myself a free standing full length mirror :D

My reward will be playing with my little 2 1/2 year old w/out getting tired :D

My Mom is getting me a Leather jacket... (That was a promise she made me at 18.. and I still havent gotten it yet!)

When I hit goal, I am getting a new wardrobe... and I want a full spa day!!

oh!!! I wish I still had my leather jacket!!! :lol: I think the belly ring, tattoos and a leather jacket might give the wrong impression of me :rofl:

By next summer, I want to be able to wear a bathing suit with out a huge t-shirt to cover up my flab!

Thanks for starting this thread...You just reminded me that I need to tell my darling hubby to start saving up for my NEW WARDROBE. I plan on HIM getting me a gift card to the mall with a very sizeable amount on it and HIM keeping the kids so I can shop ALL DAY!!!

Yes, My reward is a new wardrobe and a bunch of lingerie! I have never been able to wear lingerie, so I'm really looking forward to it!

oh!! I keep looking at that stuff. Trying to figure out if the bottoms come in tummy control!! lol. I won't be buying stuff like that either for a while. But it sure sounds like fun!

Well, for my reward I'm not going to say clothes because I consider them a necessity! I am, however, aiming for a new Lazy Boy recliner in leather that has a massage feature. I figured out that if I take all the money I would have spent on Ben & Jerry's on a regular basis (I was eating at least 4 pints a week), and add just a tad to that stash, I've got enough to spoil myself rotten!!!! You're all welcome to drop by and try it out this summer!

I plan to buy a really short skirt or dress (not sleazy though) and wear it out on the town. I'm tall with very long legs, and have never been able to show them off. I'm single, but I have a handful of male friends who said they would love to be my escort when I go out on the town lol.

Well at this point.... my reward will probably be looking fanTABulous in my wedding dress. ;)

Well I think i would like to buy a whole new wardrobe too, and take a vacation by a pool somewhere and wear a bathing suit, MAYBE a cruise WOW that would be fun!!!!!:)

Well, when the only other girl there is only an inch taller and has over 100 pounds on you, it's not so bad. ;)

Most of the people I hang around with is family--and my sisters are stick thin. So is my neighbor (who I also hang with). So I'm the fat chick in that bunch.

I won't go into all the details out of respect of those with a greater sense of propriety than I have, but I had an outrageous night at a gay bar last night :D

Gay bars are the funnest by far!! Although I can't remember the last time I went to one I am sucha old mother now! OH I guess that would be my bachlorette party at Darcelles!

Darcelle's is wonderful! I have a blast there!

For those who aren't in Portland, Darcelle's is a little establishment that puts on big ol' drag queen shows. It's great! They also have an all-male review, but I've never stuck around for that part ;)

HA HA :lol: My reward is boring compared to a drag queen show! ha ha ha :lol: Since both DH and I are on Atkins' Diet, we're going to reward ourselves by going to take our trailer on at least a two week vacation up the Oregon Coast and go shopping at outdoor type stores, starting in Bandon at the Cobbler's Bench. (love that little city and store) We'll each buy a jacket and shoes and a few other things. Then head up to Florence and go rent a dune buggy. DH has always wanted to do that. The last time I lost a bunch of weight, we went to Florence and stayed at a resort on the beach and cooked lobster. We went to the dunes, and there was a man with a camel. It was "Laurence of Florence." :lol: I was going to take a camel ride, but luckily at that moment, my problem of always thinking I'm fat kicked in...I still thought I was too fat for the camel at 135 lbs. Then I pictured myself on a run away camel in the huge dunes trying to hang on for dear life, never to be seen again. LOL :lol: So no camel rides are planned for this reward. :lol:

OK gang -- as a closet bad girl... I dont mind if you put the posts up! I read the racy novels (Harlquin "Blaze" series is among my favorites...;) ) and Now I am dying to hear everones "stories" . I have actively become a fuddy duddy in the last few years.. but that is changing! .. just ask DH...
