Does everyone have their Easter bonnet and dress? I'm actually going out and look for that bonnet. Really, Larry found me one while we were in San Antonio but I wouldn't buy it. Now I wish I had. It was really cute.
I couldn't believe he thought I should have a hat. I haven't worn a hat since I was in 7th or 8th grade.
I don't know about y'all, but I had to re-enter my name and password to get into the board today. I wonder what happened. Did anyone else have to do that?
How is everyone doing? Is everyone journaling? I'm not and I better start again.
Please post-----let's talk.

Tina, I didn't have any problems getting in here tonight. Maybe something was going on earlier.
Nope. Not journaling, but I know that I should.
Tim starts at Arby's on Thursday.

Hey, where is everyone????
I don't know what's going on - yesterday and this morning, I had to log in my name and password again, even though I'd checked for them to be remembered. If this happens again tomorrow, I'll write Suzanne.
How is everyone doing? Is everyone cooking dinner on Easter Sunday? My whole family gathers at my sister's home. We each take things. I am to take rolls, cherry sauce for the ham and cheese grits. I'm the only one in the family (now that my mother doesn't do anything) who knows how to cook grits.
I buy the Lite cherry pie filling and don't eat the rolls. Someone else makes the relish tray.
Last night, I fixed some shell pasta and added 1 cup of green peas, 1/2 an onion (chopped & sauteed) and 4 oz. chicken breast, stir-fried. It was a great one-dish meal.

Tina, I haven't had any problems logging in here. Wonder what's going on?
My brothers and their families usually go to their in-laws on Easter. We haven't gotten together since my parents passed away. Sad. The three of us will probably just eat a simple meal after church. Tim may be working that day. When he goes to work on Thursday, he'll find out the rest of his schedule for the next week. Hope they don't have him down for anything on Tuesday. We go to visit a college that day.
Your meal from last night sounds great! I should try that. I think we all would like it.

I hope y'all have a good Easter.

Greetings,
Whatever was going on when I logged on, is fixed now. Yeah!!!!! :D
I didn't have any problems today.
Well, I went out yesterday and bought a hat. Yep, I did. When I told our son, he asked if I was really going to wear it to church on Sunday. He might sit on the far side of the auditorium from me. It's an understated (I guess) tan with a simple pink flower. I love it! It might be too much trouble to wear it again. I've been trying it on. Now I know why my grandmother had those hat pins. I surely wish I'd kept one of them when we cleaned out Mother's house.
Everyone have a great day. It's almost Easter. Is anyone saving their flex points for that meal?

Hi Everyone,
I can't believe that Easter is just around the corner. Wow, I thought I had posted on this thread but haven't! Sorry! Bad me :) We don't have any plans. Maybe I'll see if Pat will take me out to eat. Who knows maybe I'll just cook since everything will be crowded.
We get out of school on Friday. I took Tuesday off as well. It's been a short week for me! I like it. I could get use to a 3 day week. I'll have one next week too. I have my amnio.
It's rained off and on here today. We needed it.
Tammy, I love Arby's. Tim will love that paycheck.
Tina, how is life in your neck of the woods?
Off to take Betty (the dog) out. She is whining so she needs out.

We're visiting Urbana University. It's a small school about an hour away. My sil got her teaching degree there recently. We've heard that they have a great education program and Tim would like to teach.
Tina, I have a hat pin!! It's in this room in a vase that belonged to my great-grandmother.
Susan, he will definitely love that paycheck! 1/2 of each one is going into his college savings account. The rest will be for gas and hanging out with Jessica.

I'm getting ready to exercise. Larry has gone to buy another lawn mower blade---how exciting!
I was a bad girl last night. Not only did I have pizza, I had a piece of Dutch apple pie with ice cream. I total blew all my points out of the water. I guess you just have to do that sometimes. So, it's off to excercise now. :D

Ditton to the happy Easter!
We could use some new lawn mower blades or to get these sharpened. Tim is at my aunt's house mowing. I've been working on the back yard. The mower needs help. lol
Dutch apple pie is one of my favorites! I want some right now!!!
BUT I need to go get shirts out of the dryer. Bummer.

Today I am drinking lots of water. My eyes were puffy when I got up this morning. I've got to get rid of that!
Susan, I see that it's 59 degrees in Dallas right now!!!!! Brrr..... We are to have thunderstorms tonight. The Easter Bunny better carry un umbrella!
Tammy, I hope you can get online here, soon.
Sis, are you doing something special for Easter? Do you still fix your daughter an Easter basket? I still fix one for our 30 yr. old son. He'd have a fit if I didn't. :)

Happy Easter!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :)
Tina, It is cold here! It's been raining and now it's cold! Boo!!! I like a warm spring much better. My mom sent me my Easter goodies. I'm 41 and she still does it for all of us. I love it!!
Tammy, how are you feeling? I know that ya'll will be SO glad to get the birdhouses complete. Did Tim get the Arby's job?
Sis, What do you have planned for your 3 day weekend? Something good I hope!
We cleaned out the closets today. I gave away tons of clothes & jackets. It felt good getting that accomplished.
I'm really tired today. I've just gotten up from a short nap and feel like i need another one. I think I'll go to bed early, Pat's band is playing tonight so I won't feel quilty.
Have a great evening..

Well, we went to my neices house for a family get together cookout last night. I made it a "blow it " night as far as my diet but today I am right back with it. I hope I can do this combining the 2. I think it will work pretty well.
Tina, yep, I still make my dd an easter basket. Although I left out that fake grass this year and just put it in a pretty summer hat with clothes underneath. I hate cleaning up that grass for a year afterwards. :) And she gets summer clothes now instead of so much candy. Hope everyone has a great Easter.....Sis :D

I WAS ABLE TO GET ON HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonder what was happening yesterday?
yes, Tim got the job at Arby's. Thursday night he was the fry guy. He was off Friday. Last night, they had him working the drive-through window! he had to collect $, give change, and give them their food. On the job training!! He doesn't work again until Tuesday.
We are off of school until Wed. I am so glad. I can't believe how much we've gotten accomplished this weekend. Tim is writing a book report right now. I told him I'd type it when he gets finished. I type MUCH faster than he does.
That's all for now. This was a pretty good weekend for food. I didn't totally blow it at all. I wore a dress to church this morning and it fit a lot better than it used to!! Yay!

Tina, What's th weather like down there? It's rainy and coo actually down right cold here. I like spring much better.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Tammy, I'm glad you're back online today. Doesn't it feel great to get into something that was too tight!!!!! :D
Susan, we had a bad storm last night. We were afraid a tornado was going to hit our area. Fortunately, it passed us by. And, yes , it's getting very cold here. I want my 80 degree weather back. :^:
Sis, I agree with you about that Easter grass. I keep finding it everywhere in the house and I don't know how it got there. :)
Take care everyone. Stay dry and warm tomorrow.

Wearing that dress and having it fit better made me realize that I really have lost weight! lol I know the scales show a lower number, but when I look at myself I really don't see a change.
80's would be nice. If we get up to 60 right now, it's wonderful! It was almost 70 a couple days last week. We've had a couple days when I thought there might be a tornado watch out, but nothing. Our town was hit by one back in the early 90's, so it really makes you pay more attention to the weather. Hope it's nice on Wed. We're supposed to work at the estate and hopefully get the purple martin houses up. The end of the project is near!!!!! lol
I keep thinking this is Saturday! I'm meeting Carol and Melissa (my shopping buddies) for breakfast at 9:30. Tim has drum lessons at 10. Then we are free for the rest of the day. I'm sure I'll be typing his report. He needs to update some things for me to type into his Eagle information on the computer. That should keep us busy for a while. Then, Maybe a nap!!!!! I just got up and I'm thinking about a nap already. Silly me.
Susan, I'll be thinking of you Th. and F. Not that I don't always think about you guys! lol

Rain, rain, go away! 'don't come again another day--any time soon! :)
We had to go out and pick up little limbs and leaves in our front yard yesterday evening. Larry had just mowed and trimmed and it had looked so nice!
It's raining again this morning. At least it's not coming down hard and it is supposed to stop soon.....for the rest of the week.
I took our cat in to get his cyst drained and nails trimmed. When I made the appt., I didn't realize that school was out today and the vet wouldn't be taking clients. There was some sub there with her assistant. Smokey was not amused . At least, we don't have to go back for a month. Then, I'll make sure we get the vet we want.
Susan, how is your cat, Betty?
Tammy, have a great day doing as little as possible.
Sis, I wish you had the day off to goof off.
I'm going to get to the store for some groceries. I'm eating as little as possible today. So far, I've had hot tea and 1/2 c. of applesauce. Oh, and my Diet Coke. :D

How is everyone doing today?
It was cool this morning, but, it actually felt kinda good.
My mother is having more health problems. She is very hard of hearing and wears an aid. Yesterday after breakfast, she just couldn't hear anymore. I took her to check the hearing aid and it was working fine. They sent us to an ENT dr. who looked at her, took some wax out of her ear and did a hearing test. (I wasn't impressed.) He said he couldn't do anything.
I'm trying to get her an appt. with the neurologist. This is not easy. I'm waiting for a cancelation. Her heart dr. doesn't think it's stroke-related and is sending her to a "good" ear dr. We shall see. So, that's what I've been doing and worrying about for a day and a half. :(
I did pretty good OP yesterday and so far today.

Tammy, did you enjoy your break? Did Tim get all of the bird feeders up?
Tina, You and your mom are in my prayers. Hopefully there will be a cancellation tomorrow!!
I'm doing good. One my day til my amnio. I'll be glad when it's over. I know ya'll are tired of hearing me say something bout it. I had my observation today at school. Glad that's over with too. One of my friends gave me the heads up that the principal was coming.
Have a relaxing evening.

Break was wonderful!!! Too short of course!
The bases of the martin houses are on the poles, and the poles are now in cement that is hardening as we speak. lol We need to go back and put the top sections and the roof sections on after the cement hardens. Feels great having that much finished. The caretakers are hilarious. We've had a great time working with them.
Susan, we're not sick of hearing about anything!!!! You just keep right on talking to us, you hear me???????
I think since this principal has been at our school (6 years), he has only observed me twice. (if that)

Hi everyone,
Hope you are having a restful Saturday. I'm doing very little but trying to keep my mind busy. So far it doesn't seem to be working.
They caught the 3 guys that committed 4 murders 5 weeks ago. The scary thing is one is a former student. He used to be such a good kid, played football, etc. He is 22, and the others were in their late 20's and 30's. I'm just glad they have been caught.
Susan
Tammy
04-17-2004, 02:08 PM
I'm glad they caught those guys. How awful for everyone, but at least they are caught. There was a case near here recently where a man was finally arrested for a murder from 2-3 years ago. A guy killed his best friend. Not sure why.
Keeping busy is good. Read a good book, play some music, go for a walk, call a friend, and on and on.
I've been working on laundry so far today. Tim and I went out for lunch between doing different chores. He has to work from 4-8:30 today. Need to figure out what Bob and I are having for supper and run to the store.
Tina

It's Saturday afternoon and it's beautiful weather here! I'd like to share it with everyone.
I've been taking it pretty easy today. I thought I was catching a cold when I woke up. My throat was scratchy and my ears were stopped up. I'm fine now. Stress does that to me sometimes.
I went to see about my mother. She can hear sounds that her hearing aid make but can't hear voices and words. Because of her stroke, she is confused a lot. I feel really sorry for her. At least she doesn't realize that she's confused. (If that makes any sense.)
My sister is taking a half day off from school so she can go with us on Wednesday to the ear doctor. I'm glad so I don't have all the responsibility.
Susan, get outside some. Do something with your hands. That keeps your mind busy on other things.

It's beautiful here too! I just came in from being outside for about an hour. I sat watching Pat work on his new chain saw, watered the flowers and sat in my swing. I love to swing, as my mom and I saw "sitting and popping grapes." We did it alot growing up and still is my favorite thing to do with her.
Tina, I'm so glad your sister is going with you on Wed. You need the support!! Wish I was closer to you. I remember when my grandmother was confused, at least she could tell bits and pieces of a story (ones that we had heard a dozen of times so we could fill in the blanks. Ya'll are in my prayers.
Well, off to see what else I can do outside or find to do in here. All of the clothes are clean. Lesson plans are done. Even my checkbook is balanced :)
You guys are the best!!!! You are true friends!!! I am thankful I have you!
Susan
Tammy
04-17-2004, 08:42 PM
Crap. Why did you mention balancing the checkbook? I knew there was something else that I wanted to get done today!!! I also haven't finished grading some math papers. I think Kramer and I will go sit on the glider on the porch and get the papers graded. The checkbook just might have to wait until tomorrow.
It was even beautiful in Ohio today! At least at our house! Sunshine, light breeze. Tim and I worked outside after we took K to the vet. I also took a nice nap. I put the screens in today, so I have all of the windows open. Haven't done the family room yet. Those windows are HUGE and I don't think my arms are strong enough right now to carry them. I'm a wimp lately.
Susan, we are thankful that we have you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:coffee: Good Morning :coffee:
Its wonderful to have a day off. I was planning to do some outside work today but when I woke up at 8:00 it was so dark out I thought it was 4:00.
It rained very hard for a few hours now there are mucky puddles everywhere. Thank goodness for the rain though, they have been putting in a new sewer line in behind our house and the dust was unbearable. My tulips are starting to bloom and the grass can wait to be fertilized.
I work as a personal support worker in home care, mostly with seniors. I am separated and have two great boys. My oldest Mike decided after a year at college that he wanted to try working, and he just got a job working at a nearby restaurant that is opening up. He will be able to walk to and from work. Dan is going into grade 12, he will be in high school for two more years, then off to do who knows what. I am patiently waiting for him to reinstall the program on the computer for downloading his digital camera. We had to reformat a couple of weeks ago, and not everything is reinstalled yet.
I have been reading the messages trying to get to know you all. I'm looking forward to it. Talk to you soon.

Mimi, our tulips are blooming too! Last year all we had was the green parts of them, no pretty flowers. Don't know what was up with that. We have red and yellow ones, plus some that are red/yellow mixed. My dad planted them ages ago. I just keep letting them do their thing. We've lived here since '99, so they are pretty old. My parents passed away in 97 and 98.
That's great about Mike being able to walk to his job. We live in a very small town, so there aren't many jobs available here. Tim has to drive about 8-9 miles to another town to the Arby's there. He is in 10th grade right now.
We are wonderful people here. (hee - hee) Aren't you glad you got to know us? lol
This really is a fun and supportive group for EVERYTHING, not just weight loss.
It's beautiful again today. Supposed to rain most of the week off and on though. I need to head for Wal Mart to stock up on lunch supplies. Tim needs the van when he gets off work. He and Jessica have plans.
What is a personal support worker exactly? I'm the dense one in the crowd. I am finishing up my 27th year of teaching. I have second graders. Kids are great, but the principal is a twit. lol

A personal Support Worker is like a nurses aide, we work in nursing homes, home care and private care, mostly seniors but some younger people as well.
My Dad died in summer 2000 and my Mom the beginning of last December. I have a brother who lives about 200 miles from here, and apart from that just me and my boys.
Kitchener and the towns which surround it, Waterloo, Guelph, and Cambridge as well as dozens of smaller towns total about 1/2 a million people. Toronto is about an hours drive from here. The area is really booming right now, and lots of jobs to be found.
Ohio isn't that far from here. We went on a vacation to Cleveland about 8 years ago, it was about an eight hour drive. We have a lot of Mennonites (Amish) in this part of the world like the area south of Cleveland.
Are you going to be able to retire from teaching at 30 years? Most of the teachers around here do.
Have a great Sunday!

A good Sunday to everyone,
Sis, how are you this weekend????? How's your weather? Have you and hubby been walking more? I bet your daughter enjoyed her Spring Break.
It's a beautiful day here in South Texas. I wish we all could be together to enjoy the sunshine here.
Tammy, how is Kramer doing? You haven't mentioned him lately.
Susan, how is your cat, Betty, doing?
My cat, Smokey, is running around the house today. He gets spurts of energy. He won't do it when I try to play. It must be on his terms. I'm so disappointed that his vet left town. She and her husband bought a practice in Seattle. A "substitute" vet drained his cyst last week. He wasn't too happy, neither was I.
I wonder if BJ will ever post again. I'm sure she'd busy with two jobs.
Maureen, how are you , girl?
Lynnie, you've been quiet.
Mini, it's nice to know more about you.
Everyone visit the Photo Thread. I just added a pic of Mini. You can "see" our newest member.

Mimi, thanks for the info about your job. I have 2 brothers who live about 2-3 miles from me in different directions. My mom had 12 brothers and sisters, and those that are still living are close. My dad had 6 b and s and those that are living are close. Lots of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Are you near Brampton, ON? I have an e-mail friend there. She and I have talked about getting together sometime. My friends Carol, Melissa, and I have travelled to Holmes County in Ohio to the Amish country a couple of times. We have so much fun.
Yes I plan to retire after 30 years. The state has come up with a better benefit plan to stay 35 years. No way! I'm out of there.
Tina, it is sunny and gorgeous again! The wind is picking up though. Bob told Tim to take his car instead of the van because of the wind. Bob just left in my van. If I plan to go anywhere, I have to hunt up Tim's car keys. As far as I know, I'm in for the night though.
Started a book, Alibi, by Sandra Brown last night. Good book!!! I love to read.
Kramer is doing OK. We took him to the vet on Tuesday because the cyst on his face was swollen, and so was his cheek, and neck. He has been on antibiotics all week and is doing better. Took him for a shot in the behind yesterday. Sometimes he still has problems walking, but nothing like it was back in February. Thank goodness!!
I got papers graded, but I still haven't balanced the checkbook. Too bad. lol

Howdy ya'll,
Man did I miss a bunch today!!! :)
Mimi, welcome to our group. Yes, this is the GREATEST group! and extremely supportive. Wow, you live in Canada! I'm just a good ole Texas girl.
Tammy, you sure you don't want to teach until you reach 35 years? I can't believe that, down here new teachers pay goes up and us veteran teachers don't see much of a raise. I'm so glad Tim likes his job! He is such a good kid.
Tina, it's a beautiful day here too. Pat is out mowing again. With 11 acres it's normally an all day 2 person project. So he has been doing it alone.
I planted tulips when we first moved in out here. They came up the first year and that's it. I love them. There is a little old house down the road and it has tons. No one lives there.
You will be proud of me. I got out today. I went downtown Dallas to meet my brother for a crawfish boil. It was a lot of fun. I stayed for about 3 hours and was ready to come home. This sure has been a long week.
Thanks for always being there!!!!

Tammy; Brampton is close about 45 minutes from here close to Toronto.
All the cat talk is making me lonesome. My eldest wants to get another cat as we have been without one for about 7 years. Last summer we had to have our much loved mini schnauzer put down, and the house isn't the same without a pet. Friday night my oldest Mike took Dan and me out for dinner and we went to PetSmart afterwards and looked at the adoptable cats. He wants to get a kitten though, so that we can train it to stay inside, as we lost our last one to (cars, coyotes, creeps?)
who knows. I'm off to Home Free........Bye

Good morning everyone
Sorry I haven't been posting I have been lurking though. Susan, how are you doing? Tammy, nice to see your boy being able to get himself a parttime job. Do all you teachers take the summer off? Tina, sorry about your mom. My parents live in Ottawa(about 1500 miles away from me) and my Dad's not doing too well and my mom has Allzheimers(the beginning anyway). Thank God my sister lives near them and is a real big help to them. I'm hoping to go for a week in June.
The weather here was great for the weekend but no flowers yet.
I've been pretty low lately since I quit smoking I've gained at least 8 lbs. Bought a bike last weekend but the weather was so ugly last week I couldn't ride it to work.. Still doing a lot of walking though. I'm on day 78 of not smoking and I'm determined to get back on the horse and watch what I eat.
So rah rah for us and here's to another day

HI there,
Hi Maureen, it's good to hear from you!!! I'm sorry about your mom. I know it's hard especially with your mom having Alzheimers. My grandmother had it. They will be in my prayers. Don't beat yourself up on your gain. Quitting smoking is a big thing.
It's gloomy and overcast here today. I went and got a manicure after school. It was very nice. Other than that not much has happened. Pat's working a little late so I quess I'll go find me something to eat.

:D Hello, hello, hello---
It's such a nice day here.
I just returned from taking Mother for her monthly blood test. Poor Mother, she can't hear a thing and is so disoriented. Some of that may be due to not hearing. However, I think she might have suffered a mild stroke. She does not recognize friends that come to visit her--she thinks they want to move into her apartment and throw her out. :(
Today, she didn't remember anything about the blood test. I'm very worried about her.
Tomorrow, my sister and I are taking her to an ear dr. that the cardiologist recommends.
Thanks for letting me talk about this to y'all.
Maureen, don't be down. Please don't be down. You are to be congratulated for not smoking. You can lose that extra weight. I just know you can!!!!
Tammy, how is that crazy principal? Does Tim like working? Do his feet get tired? :)
Susan, I think I'll go get a manicure, too. That sounds very relaxing. This place I go some time has vibrating chairs. I might turn it on this time.
I'm doing good staying within my points. How is everyone else doing this week?????

Maureen, my first few years of teaching I had summer jobs. After those years, I took classes or workshops every summer. I haven't take anything the past few years. I've just spent time doing things here at the house or running around with family and friends.
Don't worry about those pounds! Think how much healthier you are and will continue to be without smoking.
The crazy principal is an idiot. lol We have a boy in 2nd grade who has bitten people, hit people, and kicked people. The principal has made him miss 2 recesses for all of it. He met with the parents and told them that suspension is being considered. Other kids have been suspended for less!!! I just don't understand.
I think I need to go get ready for school! I'm sitting here in my gown and I have to leave in about 5 minutes. Packed my lunch already, so the important thing is finished!!
Have a great day!!

Can anyone send me a few thousand dollars so I can escape to a deserted island!!!!! I've had about all the stress I can take.
The new ear dr. didn't have a clue why Mother's hearing suddenly stopped. I really wasn't very impressed with him, inspite of all his creditials.
The hearing aid center is ordering an aid that should be stronger than hers. Hopefully, it will help her. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
One thing about all this, I haven't been hungry today. I splurged on Diet Cokes yesterday ...... bad idea. However, I tried on my new skirt and it still fits. Yea!!!!!!! I guess I'll be okay, weight-wise.
Mimi, how are you doing? You've been quiet for a few days.
Everyone, please post!!!!

Hey, where is everyone????? Is there some Friday night party and no one invited me? :D
I've been so good OP today. It's sickening. I didn't get in enough water but I'll forgive myself that.
Did I tell y'all that I bought myself a new pair of shoes? I'd promised myself if/when I lost 10 pounds, I go find a sexy pair of heels. Well, I don't know how often I'll get to wear these, but they are perfect.
They are by Naturalizer and have an ankle strap. Go to Naturalizer online and you might see them. They have a pom pom-looking thing on top. They come in baby blue, pink and black. I was conservative and got black.
Hope everyone has a great OP weekend. Any plans? We're going to get out of town.

LOL No party for me. I worked on grading papers last night. Seems like that's all that I do sometimes.
I like Naturalizer shoes. I'll have to check out the site sometime. I was looking there not long ago. I wear Birkenstocks most of the time.
Plans for the weekend? Laundry, mowing, napping (lol), trying not to eat too much, etc.

Hi there ya'll,
Nothing going on here. Last night was our Relay for Life walk from 7pm - 7 am. We ended up with a forecast of severe storms so I choose not to go at the very last minute. I was actually 1/2 way there. It started raining and storming about 44 min - 1 hour later. We had major storms last night. I don't know who was more scared.... the dog or me! :)
I'm feeling good. I went to Curves 5 days this week. I like going in the morning better than I do after school.
Tina, I'm so sorry that you didn't like the doctor and he didn't have anything to tell you. What did the cardiologist say? Remember you are in my prayers. GOOD FOR YOU!!! on those shoes!!!!! You deserve them!!!! :bravo:
Tammy, I can't believe the school board hasn't gotten rid of the principal. Something is going to happen and then it will be too late. He is definately an idiot!! When do you get out of school? Our last day is May 28. I have to make sure that I have 6 hours of comp time so I don't have to go back the Tuesday after Memorial day. I have NO plans of doing that. I'll be in San Antonio for my niece's graduation.
Well, off to find something for breakfast. I wish it was cooked and waiting on me but it isn't!
Have a great day.

It stormed here late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Pretty nasty.
Our last day is May 28 also. We have an early dismissal at 1:00. Teachers can stay until 6:00, and that will count as our work day. I will never be ready in 5 hours to check out unless I start working on my room right now. lol
Good for you Susan on going to Curves.

It rained here really bad Friday night and then some storms on Saturday. Sunday was nice.
We have to work 6 extra hours sometime before the last day of school so we don't have to go back after Memorial day. We have exams that last week. Luckily my last class is my planning period. I won't have many taking the final so I'll have them to help me pack up. I'm going to tell my students after they take the TAKS test this week. It's our big standardized test.
The dr. office didn't call so I hope they do tomorrow with my test results. I'll keep you posted.
Hope everyone is doing well.

I hate testing week!
Glad tomorrow is Thursday. At least I'll have a break. I don't have any breaks on Tues. and Wed. Long days.
Tim and Bob just went to pick up Tim's tux for the prom on Saturday. He and Jessica will look so cute together. She's wearing a light pink dress. It is beautiful.
