:D Hey, this looks like a cool thing we could do! Go to http://www.presidentschallenge.com and check it out, there's a fitness log, a plan, all this cool stuff. Let's do it!!! ;) ;)

Wow, that is totally cool! Thanks for the great info -- I signed up as an individual but if we start a group, I would love to be in that!

Wow...that is so cool....Apryl, how did you find this? I am up for it....you wanna sign up as a group.

03-31-2004, 05:03 AM
I don't know if I'd trust our president to wash my dog, let alone pick out a fitness plan for me. Sorry, didn't mean to be political, or negative.

It does look like something we might want to try. What does everyone else think?

Well, I'm absolutely with justaprettyface on the whole George W as our leader thang, but the program does sound interesting, and I'd be happy to be a part of this motley crew in participating! Increasing my exercise is definitely a current focus for me, so the timing's right, and it seems completely manageable. Why don't we set a deadline for getting started, post it in a separate thread devoted specifically to enrollment, and then go ahead and do it?

03-31-2004, 02:16 PM
Sounds like a great idea. Just let me know what thread you want made a sticky!

I'll be right there with you!!!

03-31-2004, 02:57 PM
Apryl, you want to take the lead on this since you came up with this fabu idea? If you need any help, just let me know! :)

03-31-2004, 06:26 PM
Looks like a great thing. Count me in. FYI--> I think this program's been around for years regardless of who's been the Prez. ;) I seem to recall them giving out these Presidential Fitness Awards back in high school

03-31-2004, 08:08 PM
Yea, Dawnyal is right, they give 'em out in middle school :)

Soo..... are your screen names there going to be the same as they are here?

03-31-2004, 08:23 PM
For me, yes.

04-01-2004, 12:16 AM
mine is

04-01-2004, 09:59 AM
Yup, same here.

04-01-2004, 02:04 PM
Apryl -

did you start a group out there? My name will be the same.

04-01-2004, 06:41 PM
My screen name is the same too! ;)

04-01-2004, 11:08 PM
YOUR GROUP NAME IS: 100lb. Clubbers

OK.... let's see how this goes. :) So far I'm the only one in the group:D:D

04-02-2004, 01:04 AM
o.k...I joined...same screen name...but, I can't "see" or view our current members
What am I doing wrong???

04-03-2004, 10:13 PM
Same here. I joined our group, with this screen name, but I don't know how to access anything related to our group. Apryl, I know the password is 3fc, but where can I use that?

Thanks in advance for the help! :dizzy:

04-03-2004, 11:47 PM
I can't see anyone either but once you type in your activity, you can click on compare with others at the top and then check the box by group and highlight our group and see how many of us exercised that day and how many points on average was listed.

04-04-2004, 01:32 AM
Yep, what Dawnyal said.

I don't have too much figured out yet....

04-04-2004, 10:53 PM
I have made this a sticky for now...but we have WAY too many sticky's. Maybe we will keep it up for a month and they Apryl can "bump" it back up every once in a while. Does that sound OK???

04-04-2004, 11:13 PM
Sounds good to me....I agree about the stickies!

04-07-2004, 07:12 PM
Yeah, me too.... blech. Delete this one NOW if you want to Sandi :-)

I was JUST thinking about the over-done stickies, lol.

04-09-2004, 12:37 PM
Hey Apryl - I tried to log in and join and can't figure it out. Help!

06-01-2004, 08:48 PM
Thought I would bring this back up to the top. I don't know if it ever got off the ground or not, but I would certainly be interested in the group thing. Anyone else?

Ok, I added all the information for the group. I'm not sure I understand the point of it yet. I'm not sure yet how user friendly it is. I guess with a little more looking around it might fall into place.

Oh, I have it figured out now. I see seven of us in the group. Well, it seems pretty neat. I am going to start tracking my exercise there.
