hi everybody. I have a few questions for ya. I've been reading the book (on about pg 80 :p ) and i've looked at the FAQ's that ppl have posted. It's all been very helpful. I know what I can and cannot have on phase 1, but do i need to count the carbs and fat content in the things i can eat? if so is there a certain number i should be at or under? Because on Atkins you had to stay under 20g of carbs a day. I know SB isn't quite like that, or is it? day 1 (which was today) went very well for me i thought. No cravings for chocolates after lunch like i usually have. so thats a plus, and i've felt very satisfied with what i've eaten. everything that i ate today was on the list. and i've had more than enough water for the day. but i don't want to ruin the plan already if i should be counting certain things and i'm not. i use fitday as well, and the carb ration seems a bit high, but i haven't had anything that is real high in carbs.
sorry for the long post lol. just got kinda confused. thanks for the help in advance ;)

Don't worry about counting carbs. This is not a low carb diet. It is a good carb diet!

There are restrictions on some types of food (milk, nuts etc) but generally speaking you eat until you are satisfied at meal times, remember to eat your snacks and drink your water and eat loads of vegies. You will find that your protein (meat, chicken etc) consumption is pretty high in the first few days but by the end of two weeks you will be having more normal sized portions.
