100 lb. Club - Weekly weigh in March 22nd - March 28th!

Well....how did everyone do for this week? I actually did quite well, but I am not suprized....because I was detrmined to up the intake of fruits and veggies, and increase my physical activity, and by numbers it actually worked....well what do you know??? :lol: So, for this week, I have lost 3 pounds!!!!! I have met my April fools goal of 10% loss of my starting body weight!!! So I am siked....O.k....I want to know how everyone did this past week?

well .. once again.. I am the same weight. And I am happy with that. Gina.. you have inspired me.. I am going to do fitday.com this week. I am going to limit myself to 2100 calories. I know this seems high - but trust me, it's alot better then what I have been doing.

I lost 5 lbs this week.. an inch around the waist and an inch around the bust! Life is good.. I just need to keep the momentum up!

Dana (slimdown) hang in there.
I stayed the same. I didn't stick to plan as well as I should have ... I did some stress eating, dh was out of town for 5 consecutive nights last week and the kids didn't handle it too well. Also, although I didn't realize it until after the fact, it was the 2yr anniversary of my Mom's death, and I think it affected me more than I realized.
BUT ... today is a new week, a fresh start and so far, so good!

Well, after some discrepancies between my home scale and the scale at the doctor's office, I have some final numbers. I've modified my signature below to give the accurate numbers, but it's a total lost of 15 pounds since March 1. (3 pounds last week.)
It was confusing and disappointing, since the confusion did NOT work in my favor, but all in all, I'm very happy with my results! (As well as my 122/70 blood pressure results! Now I just need to go in to get my bloodwork done, and I'll have a much better sense of where I am at this point, healthwise.)

CONGRATS to you bunch of losers. my wi was this morning and i am pleased to say i lost the lb. i gained last week plus 3 more. that puts me at my 50 lb. mark, well actually 50.5lbs. total lost. hope everyone has a wonderful week.

:cp: Congratulations everybody on having good week. I lost 2.5 pounds this week. Not bad considering I was half on :strong: /half off :corn: my plan. But all in all I ended up a loser :D (yeah me!).

Yeah everyone....I am so proud of everyone!!!
And Step...we are entitled to have an off week...and I can totally relate to the emotional eating. When I cave in to the emotional urge to eat....I grab 2 sugar free fugicals....they are so chocolatey and creamy and only 45 calories for 2...so it is a guiltless pleasure!
And Dana, I am glad that I have insired you!!!
We are doing this ladies...because next month is gonna come reguardless if we get healthy and serious about ourselves or not....so let's stay committed for ourselves!!!

Boo....I had a half pound GAIN!! Was quite annoyed as I had eaten ON PLAN and had walked/run 40 km. this week. Doesn't seem fair. hmph.
Ah well....half a pound...you can gain that if the wind blows the wrong way. I am going to chalk it up to lactic acid (my muscles were pretty sore yesterday from my run on Sunday), also TOM. I am sure that if I stick with it this week, I will see some results on the scale by next Monday. I have signed up for the 10 week running course...so I will stick with the extra exercise for at least that long.
Just moaning....only half a pound...shouldn't really matter! But ladies, I refuse to change my signature to show the half pound gain....only because I am certain that it will be gone by next week! ;)

I weighed myself yesterday and am now down to 219.5 My lowest in quite awhile! I believe I was 221 last week, it has been so hectic, I do not even remember!

CONGRATS jolee. you are doing great. i know what you mean by hectic. i was so tired yesterday, that at 8:30 last night i was already sound asleep for the night. i even fell asleep on my dh side of the bed and he couldn't even wake me to swap sides with me, needless to say my little dog was thoroughly confused and didn't know where she was supposed to sleep.

WOW!! There were some great loses this week! Congrats to all losers!
As far as those that maintained or gained...great job! Maintaining is the hardest part of weight loss. And the gains - shoot, a good sneeze will get ya'll back on track!
Extra congratulations go out to Audrey for hitting the 50 lb. mark, and Gina for reaching her April Fools Challenge goal!
As for me I get to post another 1.8 lb loss this week ~ which put my 2004 total weight loss at 30.6!! :goodscale

In the weekly weigh in you mention Lactad Acid? Please explain what this is exactly. I do know that if you are breastfeeding and working out...a woman's milk may taste different after working out because of the lactad acid in it.....I just don't know what this is, and how this would impact weight. Thanks!

Lactic acid is a chemical produced by our bodies that accumulates in the muscles once you start working at about 85% of your maximum heartrate. There's quite a bit of controversy about whether or not lactic acid causes muscle burn after high intensity exercise (like lots of situps, running sprints, etc.).

Even after having a perfect OP week, my body decided to be stubborn and hang on to those pounds. Must be because I said I was going to make the April Fool's challenge. It's showing me who's boss! I was most annoyed because I thought I was going to get my next 5 lb. star (I live for those gold stars!) and be at 70 lbs. total lost by today. But, no, here I am stuck at 69.
