Dee-I am a very slow runner. It takes me anywhere from 10 to 11 minutes to run a mile.

Weigh-in....I lost 3 POUNDS this week!!! :cb:

I finally found something that keeps me from eating...grief!!!
But still happy about the weghtloss!!

Debbie you are doing great. You have lost a lot in less than a month.

Shelley running 1 mile in 10-11 minutes is pretty good. If we work to hard it doesn't burn fat.

Sherry did you get to go to the Y yet?

Thanks for asking, I wasn't sure if anyone read my post on the main thread when I wrote that I was waiting for a Dr. referral.
Yep...I got my clerance today! :) I'm about to leave to have my 1st work-out!! :tread: The Dr. told me to take it slow until my b/p gets under control.
I'll let you know how it went!! ;)

I worked out on several machines (don't know what they're called) and walked 1 mile on the indoor track (20 laps).

Most of the ladies had on cute spandex outfits or shorts with tanned legs.I looked frumpy in my sweat pants and oversized T-shirt. Oh well....not going to a fashion show...just trying to get in shape and lose weight! :lol:

I'm going to work out 3-4 times per week.

Sherry!!! WTG!!! ON your first workout!!! I'm so happy for you, getting your release from the doctor!!

I usually walk on the threadmill, it paces me better than the track. Working forward a 12 minute mile. It takes me about 18 minutes now.
But anyway didn't get to the Y today, had too much work to do here. I'm going in the morning...early!!! :faint:

BTW...Had Sherry going earlier.....I told her I was eating ice cream right out of the carton....IT was carb-smart!!! :lol:

I so glad that everyone here is active. Keep up the good work. Shelley make sure that no one slacks off when I am sitting by the pool being served pina coladas by our pool boy. :-)

I worked out for an hour this afteroon at the Y . That threadmill :tread: was whipping me hard, but I made it!! I can even begin to feel a little more :strong: tone already!!

Didn't get to the Y today but worked out yesterday for an hour. Today I know I walked over 3 miles on the farm. I'm counting that too!!!

I worked out at the Y for an hour this morning, then swam a few laps in the {heated} pool. It was very refreshing!!

Sherry....Didn't make it to the water aerobics class this morning, 8am was just too early for me. I still want to go but having trouble with thier schedule and mine.

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day :goodscale and to measure up!!!

Saturday..... I finally went to the Water Aerobics class at the Y yesterday morning. What a workout!!! I loved it! I'm going to go to the Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning class.

For the month of March so far....We have walked 250.65 PLUS have done biking,lifting weights, working out, water aerboics, etc.!!!!!!!!!

I'm so impressed!! Are we good or what?! Now let's get those other floozie's motivated to join us! :)

Sunday...... I decided to skip the church {Y} today...LOL.

I DID work on the deck for about 6 hours. Up and down the ladder then up and down again. Lifting boards then lifting more boards. SO I did have my workout today!!! Also got some sun for a bonus!!! :cool:

Total mileage for the month of march is 190 miles. Many of those miles w climbing up the mountain or walking on the beach.

Sherry I love the spring banner. Thanks for keeping track of this months mileage. It is inspiring to see that.

Sherry... You are doing great with the Water Aerobics. Going to work at least two sessions in for me next week.

Shelley.... Don't worry about being short 2 miles. 98 miles is GREAT!!!

Weigh in for today....I LOST 1 POUND!!! I am thrilled with any lost. After all a pound is a pound ...right? I must be turning this fat into muscle...LOL.

MY GOAL for April is to continue working out 3 or 4 times a week at the Y!!

And to loss 10 pounds.
