I have not posted here in a VERY long time, but I am happy to report that I am back on track & making progress.

We joined the health club last week, DH & I. Last Monday I walked 1 mile, 30 min on the TM.
skipped Tues, Wed walked 1.5 miles on TM.
Thurs, walked 1.25 miles.
Sat & again Sun, Lyn & I got out & walked 30 min, good pace, approx 3mph, so about 1.5 miles.
This morning I was really hurting & we were trying to beat the rain, so we only did about 20 min at a slower pace.

So I am proud of myself & plan to continie the progress!

Monday: gym - 5 minutes eliptical, upper body workout, 30 minutes treadmill.

Monday- my "own" workout. 45 minutes aerobic activity(using WATP moves and the step). Then did some arm/chest with 8 # weights and some situps. The whole workout was a little over an hour.

1 mile WATP.....does this ever get easier?? I feel like a pansy still doing the 1 mile but with the weights my upper body just isnt ready for more yet. My arms kill me when im done.

I added about 10 or so minutes of ab work. OUCH! It may not sound like much but it has my muscles SCREAMING!! lol :lol:

I did the 3 mile tape again. I had to bribe myself to get through...I would say, "I only have to do a mile"..."okay another half mile." I even wanted to cheat and put the weights down at the end but I picked them back up. Not sure what it is with me this week but it's a tough one.


Vmoore..hello!!! You are doing GREAT!!! Don't let numbers or weights get you down. 1 mile full out is better than a half hinney attempt at 3. You are getting stronger every day.

Tuesday-- 10 minutes stretches, 38 minutes lower body TBT.

Monday: Ab scissor - 2 minutes, 40 seconds

Wednesday: Gym - 5 minutes eliptical, lower body, 30 minutes treadmill, 2 min. 40 sec - Ab scissor.

I am interested in the AB Scissor...have you had it long? Did you see the results it promised? I want to know more before I invest in yet another exercise machine.

Wed: walked 2 miles on the treadmill, still not feeling well, this stomach/intestinal thing really hangs on....

Hi there:

I haven't owned it very long, so it's too soon to say. Today is just my 5th time on it, but I do feel as if my abs are getting tighter already. I really think it will work! I did before/after pics. & measurements. I am going to re-measure and take other pics. the end of March, if you want to check back. I will either be complaining about it or bragging about it (ha).

2 mile WATP tape with 1 lb weights instead of 2. This is my first time doing the 2 mile...whew!!! Its not as easy as walking around the neigborhood!!

Well, I posted earlier today, or so I thought..but I don't see it!

Here's my recap

Monday- already posted
Tuesday-35 minute workout at home and then a great workout at class
Wednesday- only 28 minutes step aerobics
Thursday- 4 mile WATP tape and class, which was only "okay"
Friday-Nothing
Saturday- Does rollerskating count,lol?
Sunday- 45 minutes of my "own"(cardio) workout followed by some hand weight(8 #'s) moves and situps
