Default new on the beach
hello everyone!!
wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. i am new to 3fc just joined today but i have been shamelessly lurking around since november 2003. when i finally got up the nerve to tell myself i don't want to live like this anymore. i have read about so many diet plans over the last few months my head is spinning! but i keep coming back to the south beach diet plan so again i got up my nerve and went to the store and bought the book today. i will be starting the plan tomorrow and looking forward to the new me!!
i started in november 2003 at 271lbs . a friend from work and i both started watching fat and sugar etc and it has helped i am at 255 today. looking forward to getting a lot of support and hopefully meeting a few friends along the way.

Hey Jodi welcome to the beach! Glad you decided to join us. This is the best place for info and support. Everyone here is great. Great loss already started. Can't wait to see your continued sucess. There is alot of info in Q&A section. Good thing about this forum is even if our buddie falls off the wagon there is someone here who is still on to help! Pull up a chair and don't forget your sunscreen cause your on the beach now! Oh one more thing make sure you join our Monday Morning (day) weigh in. And Stay In It! Bamiegirl (Kellie)

I have recently started SBD and just finished by first two weeks.
Really easy to follow plus, I have felt great during the whole time.

Hi Jodi! that is great to have lost so much already, watching fat and sugar. Really that is a summary of SBD I would say, although it is nice to have more structure to fall back on too. Looking forward to getting to know you.
