So... I think as a group we could lose "a ton" (2000lbs) in 2004. But honestly.. how many are there of us?

Do you consider yourself a regular? If there are 20 of us we would need to lose an little less then 2 lbs a week for the year to lose a ton!

When I read the subject line real quick I thought you were asking if we were "regular" you know, as in pooping. And, well, I have not been lately....I know, TMI!!!!!! I just don't get it....I am taking daily fiber supplements....go figure

Count me in....I am a regular, and I would love to loose a ton!!!!!

I check in every day....does that count as "regular"? I am only looking to loose about 30 more pounds total, though. 2 pounds a week in 104 pounds in the year, which could be pretty high.....Maybe we could count total weight lost if we don't have at least 30-40 people???

I feel like I am a regular ~ I come here every day ~ a few times a day. I don't always have anything to share or say ~ often times someone else has already said it way better than I could, or I am just at a loss for words as to what to say or how to help.

Anyway, I have been coming here since Feb of 2000 ~ I am hooked, I can't help myself. (Poor self control ~ food, computer ~ self control is not my best thing ~ LOL.)

I'm semi-regular, popping in and out, but my weight is pretty much lost. I'm just fluctuating close to my goal weight.

i'll partner with kris, cuz i also have about 35 pounds to go. maybe 45. together we'll lost our share of the ton!

well, THIS is a strange thing to say, but i'm not sure i have enough weight left to help this along.. but if you're willing to count whatever comes off with the plastic surgery, then i'm in!!!!!!

if you're willing to count only what i lose without it, then will the 20 pounds or so really help the effort????

I think we could lose a ton in 2004. And then maybe if we don't we can see if we have lost a ton as a group.

If we try to do this, you guys will have to make sure that your numbers are right. If you lose, but then gain it back, it needs to reflect that way. I will post them, but you'll need to correct me when needed. :D

I plan to rid myself of 100 lbs this year, so put me down for 20. :D Ok, I'll be more positive, put me down for 25. ;)

I'm a regular, so count me in! I've already done my part and lost 100lb., but I still need over 20 to get to goal and really, really want to do it by June (for Chicago). Why not group me in with another couple of big losers :p, mthrgoos and looosingit? We can be make a team contribution. Okay guys, what'll we call our team? The 3 Amigos? The "Tiny" Triplets? The Evil Threesome? ;)

Jiffypop - You should definitely get to count plastic surgery loss! For the amount of work you have done to get there! Have I mentioned that your success is very inspirational??!!

Well Jo, don't fret, I gained 6lbs over Christmas and have lost less than 2lbs of it so far, so I'm up 4 this year too...but heck, there's always blips along the way, right? And hey, what's a few pounds when you've lost more than 120lbs. already Jo! Geez girl, don't be so hard on yourself!! Let's see a happy dance smilie at the end of your posts! :D

I agree with Jill and Kris, Jo. You've come so far and you'll be right back on track. It's still early this year and I'm sure you'll show big losses this year too! A lot of us have had a really hard time getting back on track after the holidays, so you're not alone. There's still plenty of time for all of us to make this a successful year!

I visit every day but, I seldom contribute. I like to think of myself as the silent support system. Although I don't have too much further to go, about 18 pounds, these are definitely the toughest and this could be a great motivator. Count me in!

I think we are trying to loase a ton in 2004. But at the end of the year if we haven't maybe we do some totals and see if we have lost a ton amongst the "active" posters.

Slimdown had calculated that if we have 20 or so regulars posting their weight loss, we would each need to loose about 2 pounds per week. This is just over 100 pounds each. There are some on the board who no longer have the full 100 pounds to shed....so we were just forming a group to come up with the hundred pounds for our contribution. I think that Holly and I each are looking to loose somewhere around 30 pounds more, and Jillegal and Mothergoose have about 20 pounds left that they would like to shed. By grouping together we manage to make our 100 pound contribution to one TON.

I kinda think that we are all each other's support buddies. Such a supportive group here at the 100lb club!

Hooray for us! Hooray for one TON gone in '04!

Well I consider myself a regular, BUT I do not weigh very often because I find it upsetting and shocking. I have lost about 40 lbs since last November and instead of the joy that is suppose to bring, it makes me cry. If you don't get enough lbs let me know and I will call my sponsor and get on the scale. ;)

i think i'm semi sorta regular. i try to get here and post as much as i can and try to post on the weekly weigh ins so i'm definitely in on this!!! i have about 125-130 pounds to lose. i'm not really sure what i want my ultimate goal to be but i figure that's probably about what i have left that i need to lose.

Well, my signature says it all. Okay, not all because I'm still trying to lose the holiday/on vacation weight. So I lost about 2/3 of the 100 I needed to lose last year. Count me in however that works.

Great idea. I am a daily visitor and appreciate any support on this long, at times lonely journey. What a struggle - or at least it is for me. Losing a ton sounds great, I have 120 lbs that is on its way out.

I check the boards daily and usually post at least once a week, so I'd say I'm a regular. And I've got about 90 pounds left to go to meet my goal, I'd like to be rid of them all by December.

I was trying to figure if there was enough of us to really lose a ton. I think 2 lbs a week all year is a really hard goal. But if there was 40 of us that it could be doable. :D

I'm in. I started this thing right on 1-1-04 and have 15lbs down so far and still have 90lbs to go, so you can for sure count me in :)

I've definitely been a regular visitor for several years now, and in the past I've posted more, but I am determined to be a much more regular poster! I used to be a regular here....and I plan on becoming a regular once again. I really want and need to lose this weight, for myself and to become a healthy individual so that I can live a long life and watch my kids grow up and such.
