Good Morning Ladies, sorry that I didn't get this up on Friday, but here we go with the February Challenge.

The Rules:

This is an open thread for anyone that would like to join. We calculate the number of minutes that we will exercise for the month and post them here. Each day (or when convenient) we deduct the number of minutes that we have exercised, leaving a new balance to be completed before the end of the month. This is a great tool to keep you motivated, if you really have a difficult time with exercise we invite you to join our group. You can chat about anything that you would like, ask questions or simply post your progress. This is your personal challenge and don't compare your minutes with others, if you haven't exercised in awhile, start with a lower number and work up.

Pledging 800 minutes this month - work is starting to get busy and I'll be putting in overtime for the next six months or so.

Well, I fell short in January by 231 minutes, so what else is there to do but up the ante for February???? :D My goal is 2175 which will be a personal best for me.

I haven't completed a challenge since the fall.....so I think i'll be lowering my minutes this month.

Oh well,

I made the effort this morning to workout but the gym did not open until 6:30 AM and I am usually at work by 7:15 AM. So no workout for me today and I was really upset about that.

So 0 exercise today.

Hi Girls, I’m turning this thread over to ya’ll. I’ve had a cold/flu going into the second week now, BIL in ICU for 11 days and just getting into a regular room on Wednesday night, plus our busy season at work has started, here comes 12 hour, seven days a week schedule. Been going to the hospital, which is an hour’s drive one way, with DH. Setting in the waiting room while he visits his brother and the nights that I didn’t go, I hit the cold medicine and the sofa. EVER HAVE A BAD DAY THAT JUST NEVER ENDS. Feeling better but still coughing my head off. Anyway, I’m looking for a little sympathy here……………….. is it working yet?

I’ll still be exercising but it will be hard to keep track of as I’ll be doing it throughout the day……… like toe touches on bathroom breaks, walking out to the back warehouse, etc. I hope you all will keep the thread going and I’ll be back when things settle down. (((Hugs to All)))

Hi Semo,

You do have a lot going on, take a break or even a rest. It seams like you need it! I've been sick for a few days myself but I'm still trying to go on. It is hard. Let us know that you're still alive even if you can't track your exercise.
