Oooooh! I love this thread! Ya'll are a bunch of exercisers after my own heart. ESPECIALLY Pebbles- I have often wondered why, with all my shopping for fitness shoes/clothes/general gear, I'm not in better shape? Hmmm :chin:

OK, here goes:

Feb 1: brisk walk home 20 blocks...ok, ok, I can't give you a minutes count because I stopped and drooled over a handbag, and then spent too much money at the L'occitane boutique. But I did walk briskly in between stops! edit- ok, let's call it 20 minutes of walking.
Feb 2: nada
Feb 3: 20 minute yoga tape; a whole lotta trudging around the city in the rain- I swear my heartrate was up, but I suppose it really doesn't "count"!
Feb 4: 60 min pilates class
Feb 5: 60 min. pilates class
Feb 6: 65 min total from 40 min yoga video, 25 min K.Smith video.
Feb 7: nada
Feb 8: 40 min brisk walk, little over 1.5 miles. Hmmm, does that sound right?

This is wonderful! I'm signing up to post my times, too!

After months of paying for and not attending my gym, DH and I went yesterday! And we plan to go today, too!

Feb. 10: 30 minutes jog/fast walk on the treadmill!
(and bells and whistles did not go off when I swiped my card to enter the gym!)
Feb. 11: 30 minutes jog/fast walk on the treadmill!
Feb. 12: 30 minutes jog/fast walk on the treadmill - with too much incline! Ug!

It's great to have you all as inspiration! Seems I need to do a little more shopping, though!

Ellis - I got myself something called "The Goddess Workout" which is mostly belly dancing. I tried it and DAMN. My hips just don't work that way! I did it once all the way through, and my lack of rhythm is astounding! I prefer going to the gym. I just thought it might be nice to learn! (And speaking as someone who would *like* to have a DH someday, I figure shaking my hips might speed the process along!)

I am also a big fan of yoga. I started it in November and have been attending weekly Power Yoga, which is a great workout. I lucked out and have a great instructor who's more into teaching us the poses and having fun than being super serious and having us find our inner whatever. :) Denise Austin has a great power yoga video, but you need to have a balance ball to do the last third of the video. (Still haven't gotten one. But soon!) I highly suggest yoga for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. It really does quiet the mind.

Otherwise, last night I did 15 minuteson the bike, did 3 sets of 12 on the ab machine, and I ran for 15 minutes at 4.8! And I didn't pass out and die (even though I felt like it)! Yay for not dying!

Okay. I'm feeling silly. Too much caffeine. Keep up the good work girls!

I've cleared out this hilarious thread for sweet Little Chick.

Darlings, PLEASE try to keep your exercise times all in one reply. Just edit the one box. You don't want Little Chick to have a nervous breakdown, do you?
Or me. It took me 10 minutes to edit this darned thing. I could have been SLEEPING! Or eating. :D
