SBD Frequently Asked Questions - Sunflower Seeds?

Does anyone know if sunflower seeds are ok? My dh loves them on his salads. I know sunflower oil is allowed and we can have nuts so I assume it is ok. Any thoughts? :?:

Hi Carolina,

I certainly hope they are....I keep a cup of them on my counter and often pop a handful in my mouth. I love them as well and also put some in my cereal. I'll be anxious to here if I have to give them up or not. :(

Well, the Guide to good carbs Good Fats (let's call it GFGCG) says sunflowers are good and lists 2 Tablespoons as a serving. I'd treat them the same as the allowed nuts.
