I have been sick all week. I get to feeling better then this dumb stuff comes back. I've done good to just work and come home and crash early every night. I'm ready to feel like Debbie again! I have slept so much this week but still feel tired most of the time. Enough whining!!

Debbie, yes I am very close to the state line. In fact i drive by a few Bingo places when I go to get my groceries in Franklin, KY. I have never played at any of them but have been wanting to.

I sell quite a bit on ebay. I take it by spells. I really get to selling when I have my eye on something I would like to have. My paypal money is kinda my "mad money". I don't feel so guilty spending it. I've sold my kids clothes, my maternity clothes, books. you are right though the shipping has gotten so high.

Sherry, Hi yes I know Parkers Chapel Rd. I used to live just down the street from it and I still am not that far from it. Do you stop at Franklin to go to Super Walmart or go on to Bowling Green? I do my grocery shopping at Franklin Walmart every monday. And we usually go to Bowling Green on the weekends to shop and eat.
Yes a TN lotto will be exciting. I am not sure if anyone will be selling them in Portland yet. Haven't seen any signs up.
I would love to get together some time.

HELLLOOOOOOO........ANYONE REMEMBER ME? hahahaha

I'm sorry i've been AWOL. I really don't have an excuse other than laziness. I know I can always find a few minutes a day to say hi to you all. I guess changing jobs after 20 years as thrown me for a bigger loop than I thought it would!

I've also been staying with my folks at night. My mom fell a few days ago. She didn't break anything, but she is black and blue. She was in the floor for 20 minutes before I could get there to help get her up. My dad is scheduled for hip replacement surgery and he is in such bad shape that he can't even try to lift her anymore. So, I went 48 hours with no sleep because my mom stays up practically around the clock and someone has to keep an eye on her at all times. Thank goodness we have a lady that comes in during the day to help.

I finally got up the nerve to get on the scale for the first time in almost 3 months. I'm 25 pounds heavier than this time last year. I refuse to stress over it though. I'm just going to do something about it.

To those of you who have been sick, I wish you a quick recovery. To those of you traveling, I wish you Godspeed, to those who have been OP and losing weight.....CONGRATS TO YOU! To those of you with teenager troubles, I can empathize and sympathize. To the newbies........A HEARTFELT WELCOME TO YOU!

Okay, it's back to the closets for me........I've been cleaning like a mad woman all day........Sherry must have finally rubbed off on me!!!! LOL.

Ramona??????? Do we KNOW a RAMONA?????? LOL!!!! Don't worry about the weight gain. It happens to the best of us. I'm right back were I started three years ago. Thank goodness I have been on plan except for one evening, since the first of the year. I have faith in you sister!

Vickster, sounds like you need to go rest instead of cleaning. Do you have sinus problems? Try to take some tylenol and go to bed. Or try my favorite stand by: A bottle of wine! Then you really won't care if your head still hurts!

The cleaning bug must of hit several of us! I have climbed step stools, did walls, ceiling fans, a little bit of everything. I had some filters in my furnace that didn't catch anything. My house is a dust pit!!!

Do any of you watch CLEAN SWEEP on the Learning Channel? That's what I feel like I've done today...clean sweep! I haven't had a garage sale in about 15 years, but I'm preparing for one now. As soon as it is warm enough, I'm putting all of this "stuff" out for someone else to take home!

By the way, Dan called tonight. We had a bad connection and I couldn't hear him. He ended up calling my dad and dad called me. He is leaving Texas now and heading to FT. Polk in Louisiana. They leave for Kuwait City on February 27 and then will convoy for 4 days into Baghdad. Hopefully he can call again soon and let me know more information. We haven't heard from Ben in a while. He is at the NCO academy right now and having to study a lot.

Well, I'm going to take some sinus medicine and tuck myself into bed. Good night ladies.

Well, I sold the 1 item I listed on Ebay! I have paypal, but it won't let me verify it with the checking account because my DH has used paypal before and his name in on the account. Anybody know how I route it to the account with his ID on it? Right now I am bidding on something else, so I can use the money in there, but I would feel safer if I could get it in the checking account. I wish I could have them place it in my credit card account, but it doesn't look like they do that.

Shelley, I'm not sure I understood the question correctly. If Mike already has a PP account, he can go into his profile and list your name also. Then people could pay you via his account. Make sense? I am officially FAT!! My weight was up to 134.5 today. I have been eating whatever I want, whenever I want. I am so mad at myself, but I don't have the motivation in me to get totally OP. I ran 18 miles this weekend, and intend to run another 8 today. My exercise isn't a problem at all. I have been craving sweets. I am going to try and start journaling today, but the motivation just isn't there, and I don't know why. My booty has gotten bigger, and my pants a bit snugger!! Okay--I got that off my chest!

Gayle-I think I can reroute the money from my account to Mike's email. I am so addicted to Ebay now. I was on the computer all day yesterday after I ran. I added a few of my collectable Steiff animals, and already have a few bids. I love it!! Of course, Mike says how much did you pay for it? What difference does it matter if I don't use it anyway. My Steiff animals have been collecting dust piled on top of one another and taking up room. He just doesn't comprehend! Maybe I'm the dummy, but I want to get rid of the stuff, and why not let a collector enjoy them? Should I be asking a higher price for my stuff? Do you think I should be asking more than I paid for them? I'm not sure what they are worth now. I have been asking about 1/2 of what I paid for them as the reserve price. Maybe I should be going higher, but I do want them to sell. What do you think?

When I read your post, It was if I typed it!!!! That's exactly how I feel!! I was doing so good staying OP until Christmas when I got off plan. I'm having the hardest time getting back 100%!! Most days I'm about 70%.Then I start pigging :ink: out on the other 30%!!!!!!!! :devil: My clothes are very snug too! I refuse to stop wearing the 14's! I WILL NOT go back into those 16's!! They will be taken out of my house ASAP!!

Today was my weigh-in. My weight was 167 which means I gained another lb.!!!!! :( I'm going to start journaling again TODAY!!!

Right now I need lots of motivation! I know we can do this because we've done it before! Today is a new day, a new week. Who's ready????????

Shelley & Sher, I do think journaling is the key. I keep a note pad on the counter and as I eat, I add to the list. It's easy to neglect something once it's eaten and not written down. You guys have done great so far and will continue to do so. As you all know, I've been in the same boat. To the point of gaining ALL of my weight back. Now how stupid is that? I was pissed because I couldn't drop the last 10 pounds so I ate to relieve my stress and in turn, I gained everything back. Something will "click" again for you guys, then you will be right back OP.

Shelley, if you want to know the demand of an item, do a search on ebay for what you have that you want to list. You can pull up current auctions or go to the right and click on completed auctions, then you can get an idea of what people are actually paying. If your happy with starting at 1/2 the value, then go for it!!! Most people will start bidding quicker when it has a low starting bid. If your doing reserve auctions, you can even go as low as a penney, because it would still need to meet the reserve price for you to be obligated to complete the transaction. Just remember, even if you start it cheap, you still pay fees at the reserve price.

ok, I'm back!!!! I just checked out the TV listings for tonight and this is a friendly reminder for the American Idol fans!!! New show starts at 7pm central on FOX. Also, directly after that is the new show, My big fat obnoxious fiance. I seen a preview for this and it looked like it might be good or at least entertaining. I really pretty girl from a nice mannered family takes home a sloppy fellow and introduces him as her fiance. He is gross mannered and the whole nine yards. See, it does'nt take much to keep me entertained!

Hope everyone has had a great day. We did have a good time visiting the great grandparents. They enjoy seeing us and the kids love seeing them. I think sometimes my 3 yr old would just move in with them LOL
As for Ebay I don't like to use reserves. I always start at a price that I could live with if it sold for. I do use Buy It Now some and have had good luck with it. Some people don't like to wait for an auction to end.
I also agree if I don't want it anymore and don't enjoy it then let someone else enjoy it and get a little (or a lot) of your money back. It beats it sitting around collecting dust or being in storage.

I love American Idol. Last years Kim Locke was the interim teacher that was in my class when I was on maternity leave. After a coulple months of Kindergarten she decided teaching wasn't her thing.
And that show about the fiance being obnoxious sounds hilarious. I think I will have to watch that one.
I feel sorry for the guys on average joe. Do any of you watch that? I don't think they all look that bad. Some are kinda cute. Maybe I'm a nerd too. I wish the average joe would have been chosen last show.
I have a question for you low carbers. Do you take any vitamin supplements or anything to keep um well "regular"?

I'm not a big fan of "reality" shows, but My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee looks HILARIOUS! :rofl: I watched "Average Joe" some, and I agree - some of those guys were pretty cute. I've always been one to choose the ones with personality, though. Like on "ER" - while everyone was going gaga for George Clooney, I LOVED Anthony Edwards. And then there's Ray Romano. hubba hubba! :love: Most people just think I'm weird when I say I find him incredibly sexy.

Tina, I don't have any problems, I have IBS. Maybe check into a fiber tab? I know they now make some sugar free ones, they might have a low carb count. I take the Walmart brand multi vitamin.

Did you guys watch American Idol and the show right after it? I can't believe some of those people actually think they sound good!!!!! Speaking of good looking guys, I think Simon is kinda hot, as long as you could tape his mouth shut!

The show directly following AI was really cute!!! I think I will plan to start watching it. Steve and I laughed and laughed when the guy was doing the "naked dance", Steve runs around here doing it all the time!

I finally got around to reading this whole thread...I'm a little behind! :dizzy: Someone was asking me if I was still OP (Shelley? Sherry? One of those "S" names! :) ) Anyhow, the answer is a resounding YES! :cb: I have been OA abstinent for 31 days today. :D That means for 31 days, I have eaten NO sweets of any kind (including cake, pie, donuts, candy, chocolate, or ice cream), NO pizza, NO American cheese by the slice. (I also recently added cappuchino and cappuchino-like drinks to my list.)

Since I began on December 21, I've lost 6 1/2 lbs. The best part, though, is that I'm no longer falling victim to 10,000 calorie binges.

I'm a happy camper. :)

Jennelle, CONGRATS on the 31 days and pounds lost!!!!! It seem's to really help getting that sugar out of the system. I find I stay on plan so much better. GREAT JOB AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Did you all catch Nashville Star last year? It was the country version of American Idol, Buddy Jewel won. I'm listening to see if a new show will be coming out. I wasn't as dedicated with it as American Idol, but it was pretty good entertainment. Everyone would sing a song that they had written plus one by a famous artist.
