I know I posted this before, but it got lost in the "Crash of '04".

I would like to put together the letter that we talked about sending to Oprah and would love to have anyone that would like to be included send me some pictures and a letter telling your weight loss story and how this site has helped you.

We just want to let them know something positive about how the internet, and this group in particular, has helped us on our journey.

Just send me a PM and I'll send you my mailing address if you're interested. I'll put them all together with a cover letter and mail it in to them.

Thank you, Mother Goose, for putting this together. You also mentioned that you'd like this by January 31 so I'll have mine to you by then--it might take me that long to repair my holiday damage.

Do you think it would be OK to submit with how it's kept from gaining and keep me from quitting all together? And *sniff* how I just love all you guys. No pictures since I've had very little success.

Sandi, I definitely think that's important and think you should include pictures too. It's not just about the amount of weight we've each lost, but about the support, encouragement, and inspiration that we gain from being here and how it keeps us going.

That is where I am ~ haven't been very successful at losing, but because of the hope and inspiration I get here and support and understanding ~ I keep trying and am not giving up (been coming here since Feb of 2000). I guess the weight might have kept going up and gotten even worse with out the help of all of you all.
