I'm reading carb counts 10-20?? It was my impression that once you had lost some weight and done 2 weeks or more, we're supposed to add carbs by blocks of 5 until we reach a level for slower weight loss. Has anyone done this? Did it just not work? Or are you all just staying in induction for now and plan to add more in the future? For me, I am on day 5 of induction, and I'm looking forward to adding in 5 more carbs of veggies (which means about 4 cups total veggies now) to total 25 carbs in week 3. Does anyone ever actually follow the 5-block adding guide? It seems like everywhere I go it's all induction, all of the time? StarPrincess 01-17-2004, 02:44 PM I'm in OWL as you can probably see from the foods I eat, but I still tend to keep my carb counts low. I want to lose abut 20-25 more pounds and I'm not ready to really slow down yet. I have my 30-ish gram days, but I'm happy with what I'm eating right now and don't see a need to go higher right now. BerkshireGrl 01-18-2004, 10:30 PM From Star's Friday post: Breakfast: Dinner: Steak - 0 Oh **** yeah - 6 Total: 21 Star, what exactly is "Oh **** yeah"? ;) It sounds tasty! StarPrincess 01-19-2004, 12:01 PM Oh **** yeah is basically spaghetti squash tossed with a whole bunch of garlic and crushed red pepper that's been sauteed in olive oil. I put the "recipe" over in the side dish section of the recipies. If you're a garlic lover, this is pretty close to heaven. Just don't breathe on anyone afterwards :D vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
