Please post any acronyms to this thread. I will edit the acronyms into the post and try to keep it in Alphabetical order. I'll delete your post when I've done so try not to say anything interesting! :lol:

ADL - activities of daily life
Aunt Flo - time of the month
BIL - Brother-in-law
CRAFT - can't remember a f***ing thing
DB - dear/darn boyfriend
DD - dear/darn daughter
DH - dear/darn hubby
DS - dear/darn son
FRASS - caterpillar poop - used instead of the F word
FIL - father-in-law
FF - fat free
HTH - hope this helps
IMHO - in my humble opinion
LC - Laughing Cow cheese
LC - Low Carb
LF - low fat
LMAO - laughing my *** off
MIL - mother-in-law
NSV - non-scale victory
OP - on program
OT - Off topic
OWL - ongoing weightloss
PITA - pain in the ***
RF - reduced fat - sometimes Red Cheese
ROFLOL - rolling on the floor laughing out loud
RU - Are you...?
SBD - South Beach Diet
SH - same as DH except he is being a jerkhead
SIL - sister-in-law
SO - significant other
SS/DD= same sh*t, different day
TIA - thanks in advance
TOM - time of the month
TTFN - ta-ta for now
TTYL - Talk to you later
WATP - Walk Away The Pounds
WOE - way of eating
WOL- way of life
WTG - way to go
WW - Weight Watchers
YKWIM? - You know what I mean?

These are great. I have one we use DNR- means Do Not Repeat, as in a bad restaurant that Dh and I wont re-visit! April, where are you in VA>???

BILL ~ Ooops! That was supposed to be SM -- or step-mother ... :lol: I always use this when referring to my step-mother (my mother passed away; and my Dad remarried). I'll go and fix that, thanks!!! :D

Well, now you have me thinking about it -- maybe I should leave SW in too, as I'm sure there are people here who have EX's who are re-married (we have some SW's in our family).

BTW, I didn't realize that a step-wife could be both of those you mentioned; we learn something here every day. ;)
