I just received a post from Labor Day Challengers.....
Instead of joining our group they want to challenge our group.... Pound for pound...every week and then a total on New Years Day! They would like to start on November 1st and work threw the rest of the year. What do you all think? I think it would be fun, encouraging and motivating! And I think we could give them a "run for their money" so to speak. I mean afterall we rock don't we? I think we are all pumped enough to take on this challenge.
**************************************************
**
Our origional post:Thought I would remind you all of my origional post:

Okay ladies..... Before you grumble that it's not even fall yet.... let me stop and remind you that I heard a million times last year (in the month of December) "If I would have only started sooner".... okay.... okay...... so here is your reminder.
Some of us have got 20 pounds to loose, some of us 40, maybe even more.... Lots of us made the commitment that "next year my New Years resolution will be Not to have to loose weight".... So it's time to get your buns in gear and make a commitment.

Anyone game for a good challenge? Threw several Holidays, cold weather, changing schedules???? Only serious loosers or looser wanna-be's need apply!

I would like to find a good group of ladies who will commit to the long haul.... sadly most will drop out!...... No shaggers please!

I promise to motivate, encourage and be accountable.....Wouldn't it be wonderful to wear that sexy Christmas dress? Even if it was just for your husband?

Here's to an excellent week ladies.... lets kick some buns!

Jenn ~ in regard to the lipo questions, the package sounds fabulous......hehe.... it is something to work towards when I'm down to a healthy weight. I realize it's not a solution but it is a helping hand in the areas untouched by weight loss and exercise, I swear I can FLY with these arms.....hehe.

Okay ladies this is it, we have to drop those chips and pick up those feet and beat the labor day ladies!!!! As nice as they all are.... we need to KICK FLAB!!!! :soap:

I am determined and ready this week, I have made an exercise schedule so HOPEFULLY I will stick to it this week!!

Burn baby burn!! :jig:

Hi Ya'll..... you know when it rains it pours and I am not talking about the weather.... It seems as if my new van is having some issues... Joy... Several of them in fact. DH will be spending the day trying to get some things fixed on it while I am at work. The only down side to this is that I have to take his old work truck in the morning and that means I can't have my morning cup of cofe because it bounces so much that it would all splash out. With him owning a tree service you can only imagine what kind of condition his little "baby" is in.... OH MY I should be a sight.... I am laughing as I am typing this because I have this vision of me in my suit and high heels hopping into his big old truck.... breif case in one hand and a towel in the other for fear of all the saw dust flying around in the cab...LOL.... Oh the dilemas of my life....
Atleast I am not having any major issues this week.
Don't know what to think about this eating issue of mine. Monday One of the girls went to the bakery and bought several fresh gormet cookies and brought them into work for breakfast. tuesday another of the girls went to McDonalds and bought everyone pancakes and biscuits for breakfast and then today the Dr. hands me his Credit card and tells me to order out for everyone in the office.... Panera Bread company.... Can anyone say Carbs????
I took a good look at my thighs tonight and I have decided I must do something and very quickly.... It takes so long to get the legs into shape but it takes only a few weeks for them to look all dimply again.... Something just doesn't seem fair about that....

The weather is supposed to take a dive into the 10's and 20's starting tomorrow evening and I am not too thrilled about that. For the last few years my way of dealing with the bad weather was to start a fire, find a good book, turn on some classical music and equip the girls with coloring books and crayons.... drink hot tea..... bask in the warmth of the fire and read.... This year... well.. I am just not sure if the trade off is worth it. Can anyone tell I am having a few issues with going back to work after all this time??? LOL....
I just don't know how women do this juggling thing... Home church, ministry, children and lets not forget the dear hubby's either.... Everyone wants my time and energy and I haven't even found a few moments to paint my nails and get a pedicure. SUGGESTIONS anyone??? With four kids.... baths and homework have to be a priority and then getting ready for the next day...so on and so forth. I have already talked to my boss about cutting back my hours but right now they really need me and my husband says we need the money since we are going into the slow season for tree work. I know that things will eventually settle down around here especially with the winter coming and all but I need a break and I mean now.LOL... Who doesn't right? Okay... ya'll can tell me to quit whining and get on with it!

How is the crew doing this week? I am so glad to see my dear friend Laurie has joined us. She and I have been heavy weight loosers over thie last year, both loosing over 60 pounds and are also determined to do this together... So please make her feel welcome!
I have been keeping an eye on the competition... I hope that some of us loose this week or we are going to be WAY behind! With as many of us that there are then we have no excuse not to take this every week.... when one of us is off then the chances are that one of us is on.... make sense?
I am going to head off to bed now. I am still nursing this darned cold and I have not been able to rest well for the past several weeks.....
My thoughts are with you all every time I eat!

I've had a good day today and even managed to 'walk' 2mls at 8pm tonight :yikes: what's up with that? i also did 3mls yesterday so i've been a good cat

Alright.... looks like I get the pleasure of two posts in a row! Christian~ What a great idea that is to take everything out of the room and then add it back, as you want it.... I have often thought about doing this myself.... mostly because I get tired of the same things being in the same place, as I am always trying to come up with new ideas.... To tell you the truth I would really like to redecorate several of the room in my house.... The problem is this...#1 My husband would have a stroke.... he is completely agains buying anything new as long as we have children....#2 I don't have the money to just empty out the room and go buy new everything that goes with one paticular style....#3 I am still trying to feel my way around the decorating world, as there are so many options in home decor and certain things flow right and others don't....
I have an idea of what I like and right now I have a paticular theme in each of my rooms, and trust me it has taken forever to sneek all that stuff in the house to make it as it is...(without hubby having a stroke)... I have spent several long hours doing different painting tecniques and papers.... flooring and tile... hardware and lighting.... just as I finish one project it seems as if the need changes or my desires change and off to home depot I go again to get some new ideas..... Maybe I will try to do as you have done..... empty and toss....empty and toss.... Atleast once a week I go around the house with a laundry basket (for things that are out of place) and a garbage bag for things that should be trashed and a box for things I am willing to give away. I am trying to train myself to get rid of as many items as I bring home that week.... so in other words if I get 2 new picture frames then 2 knick knacks should go to the thrift store..... Before I started working this was much easier to do as my job was to "keep house" and I had more time to devote to the mission.... Now I would just appreciate the time to clean off my desk, go to the drycleaner and find the floor on my side of the bed (shoes, magazines and workout clothes) .....

I am really hoping we all manage to have a good report tomorrow. It seems like this week flew and I wasn't doing so well thru Tuesday, as everyone was treating and I am not one to just say "no thanks"......
But tomorrow will be a great day.... (I have already peeked at the scale tonight and I always weigh more in the evenings.....and I weigh less already) I am going to pull my weight for the team this week! Or should I say loose the weight for my team this week! YES!YES! YES!

DewCan~ Do you think that the WW is helping? How have you been with staying on track and planning your meals??? I hope that this works for you and that you will be able to stick with this one until you loose all that you want...

Way to go with staying ontop of those work outs cat..LOL.... BTW... how's the chocolate factory coming along? Has the novelty worn off yet? How about the ladies there and their many temptations? I just don't know how you do it.....
Then again I don't know how I can work with a bunch of model thin women who are absolutely perfect and still be fat myself???

Today I went to the cosmetic clinic.... thats where they do the botox and radiance and all the permenant make-up and such... anyway the girls hooked me up with a new line of make-up samples that will last me for 2 weeks along with a skin regimine. I know that even with my employee discount the products are very expensive, however if they work...and make me feel better about my complexion (never broke out till the last 3 months or so) then they will be we worth the cost.... Also was kind of a stimulator to become more thin as I know I am beautiful and could be breathtaking if I would slim down (no! I am not vain...just painfully honest!) HAHA.... no, seriously..... I know I have all those natural qualities.... if only there wasn't this layer of blummer that covers them up and fills them out just a little too much!
Can't wait to read ya'll's post tomorrow.... Anyone thought ahead as to what we can do to avoid catastrophy over the Thanksgiving holiday??? I know we have 4 dinners in the next 2 weeks...and that doesn't include Turkey day!

Hi Girls

Christie..that sure is a lot of work but a great idea to get rid of a lot of junk :cp: I bet if i were to do it i would find a lot of things that i'd forgotten about  i bought one of those fabric defuzzers a few months ago and last week i found the 'original' one in the closet  and i don't use either of them  i thought they might come in handy at the time  don't know why.

Had another good day today but its quarter to eight and i have'nt exercised yet  i'll see if i can find the motivation to do some

Hi Ladies:(
This last week has been hectic, I usually set out one day a week to cheat, so I can be motivated through out the next week. However the weekend set the tone for the rest of the week, I gained 1 pound which I am not surprised. Sat I played football
all day, starving at the end of the day ate junk food, did the same thing on sun.Monday got called in unexpectedly to work ( I have set up a oncall basis for a salon), got home and the bf wanted to go watch monday night football at a pub, junk food again.Tuesday
(remembrance day) we helped a friend with car shopping, skipped meals again, too hungry to prepare a meal ( junk food again).

Jenn after hearing how much you have on your plate I have no
excuse, sometimes I wish I have children so I am forced to have my fridge full and have 3 full meals a day.I find being at home I am stuck to the idiot box, this time off is great, it's suppose to be my soul searching time regarding my career and too get some rest.Usually when I sabortage my eating healthy, only the bf knows, but I feel I let my mates down this time round, so I intend
to get back on track and gaurantee a loss for next week.I also know not posting regularly this week I prevented myself from getting the support from you ladies.Great going Jenn,Christie, and all those who lost weight this week!
:D
