hey, Weightylady!

Boot Camp (or Slipper Camp, as Ruth prefers. or Birkenstock Alley, as I prefer) is ummmm, just sort of a personal challenge thread. We set goals for ourselves, and post our exercise minutes every day. (if we've done any )
Franny; or in this case, Sil, adds our minutes up at the end of the week and we all go, "Wow!!"

Come and join us! We need to boost our minute count.

I walked from the clinic down to the bank in Portland with Hershey and MY POOR BLEEDING FOOT! It was 40 minutes but should count double because of the pain!

Oooh, this is a good motivation to keep me exercising. Do you want daily or weekly?

Default Boot Camp

Heh - well, I'll join if you can count as "minutes" all the many hours I spend rocking and soothing my colicky newborn. Surely, I am getting a work-out?

When I am not up all night with him, I walk for at least 30 minutes in Central Park with the stroller, but the weather has been poor for the past few days.

Oh - and I am new here. I have just read the book. Makes sense except for one thing: if you go by the serving sizes in the recipes, all of us are eating the same number of calories, regardless of our size, weight, activity level etc.

How are you all dealing with that? I am shooting for 1400-1500 calories per day. I don't want to eat a lot less than that or I know I will be too hungry.

Maybe I will duplicate this question on the FAQ board....

Thanks.

Daisy

Hi Sil: 30 minutes at Curves today. Sounds like we are all needing to get motivated more. Will check back tomorrow. Lizzie
