It would be 2 pts per cup ..... so it depends on how much actually pops up in the bag

Since its 2 points/cup it would be 2 points/bag since 1 bag is equal to 1 cup. However I don't have my points finder with me so I'm going by the above points.
The best way to figure it out is to figure out the points based on the popped serving and then determine how many servings are in the bag and multiply by that number. Your info. says 1 serving per bag.

I beg to differ the points are based on popped values of 20 calories per cup. You need to read and see how many calories it is per cup popped and multiply it by the number of cups popped. Most minibags make 6 -7 cups. And most regular popcorns are 25 cal - 35 cal per cup.

Then you need to take the fat and fiber (Amount in Unpopped As Popped,1 Cup provides 2g fat less than 1g dietary fiber) and multiple each of those by the number of popped cups.

Yes Kelly that is what I said she should do. Her nutrition label indicates that 1 serving is 1 cup and that there is only 1 serving per bag.
So to figure this out use your points finder for the following-
Calories- 35
Fat - 2
Fiber- <1

Pink I beg to differ I have never seen a mini bag that is only 1 cup in the bag. They are usually 6-7 cups per bag. I don't know the brand she is talking about but I doubt it is only 1 cup in the bag.

Since I don't have the package in front of me I can only go by the nutrition info. that is posted and that says 1 serving is 1 cup.

Yeah but the poster does not say how many servings per bag. On any of my popcorn boxes it always says serving size after popped is 1 cup.

PrettyPink you are right 1 serving of 3 tablespoons unpopped. That does not mean the serving only makes 1 cup. I am not trying to argue but I know that 3 tablespoons unpopped makes 6-7 cups.

Again, I'm just going by the nutrition info. posted and that says 3 tablespoons= 1 cup. But I'm sure by now the original poster has since eaten her popcorn and calculated whatever way makes sense for her and probably doesn't care anymore.

PrettyPink,

I see where you are getting confused:

Quote:
Amount Per Serving 3 Tbsp Unpopped 1 Cup Popped
Quote:
Calories 210 35
Quote:
Calories from Fat 120 20
When you read the package it lists the information for the unpopped "3 Tbsp Calories 210 Calories from fat 120"

Then the second column is "1 Cup Popped Calories 35 Calories from Fat"

But she never says how many cups are in the bag. Believe I have been there and I believe it is 5-6 points per bag based on the package my DH got of the ACTII Butter MiniBags last night.

To me this means that 1 serving unpopped is 3 tbsp. which is 1 cup popped and that there is about 1 serving per bag . So I really don't think I'm confused.

But again, it really doesn't matter if I know how many servings are in the bag because I told her the best way to figure it out is to figure out the points based on the popped serving information being calories, fiber and fat- and then determine how many servings are in the bag and multiply by that number. That's the way I figure out points and I know the other way is to multiply the calories by the # of servings, the fiber by the # of servings and the fat by the # of servings and then find the points that way.
I think in an effort to be correct you are arguing with me over something that really wasn't the point of the post.
