Best wishes for a complications free surgery and a speedy recovery. As a nurse here is my recommendations: don't be afraid to ask for pain medication!!! If you are in pain you are less likely to get out of bed and start moving. There's a difference between taking it slow and not moving at all. Also if you still have a catheter in when you get out of OR get that out right away. If you have to get up to get to the bathroom you'll be 100 time better than if you just lay in bed letting a tube do the work for you. Take care and let us know how it went. I'm especially curious as my husband will have to go through this soon (we hope).
Good luck Sandi you know i will be thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. I hope everything goes smoothly. What time is your surgery scheduled for? Im counting on you telling me the truth about what to expect on the 28th! LOL!
Good luck sandi, be sure to give us all the details so those of us who will be going through it soon will know what to expect. Take care of yourself first and recover, no rush here that's for sure!
Hmmmmm I wonder if they will let you keep your gallbaldder???
