Leens let me ask you this, if a boss is always needy does that mean that they are a woman. My boss is needy and I don't think he is a woman.

It is still nasty out today. They don't think a cool front will come through until Sunday night and then it still wont be that cool. Yes April, Cathy and I are both still running that AC's. I don't think it is the temp so much in the mornings as it is the humidity. My computer says that is it 94% right now and it is 8:20 AM. Pretty high if you ask me.

I forogt my book today so I have nothing to read while i am alone today. I am don with everything that I needed to do so I guess I will look for things to read onthe net. This should be fun.

How is everyone today? I hope to see you all here soon.

Good Morning Chickadees!

Leenie! won't you be glad when that boss is gone for a few days!

Kemp! I know you will love being alone today. I would have guessed our humidity was about 300% again today! yikes! it is like pea soup out there. Suppose to start raining around noon and then rain thru tomorrow? but who knows?

Is anybody exercising? I post my exercise with my food journal. what's everybody else doing. my goal this month was to use handweights at least 3 times a week. There was a chapter in Dr Phil's book about how important muscle is in weightloss and keeping our metabolism going, etc. so it got me motivated in that direction.

Well gang my boss is looking for stuff that I should be doing - better run!

hugs,
cathy

Cathy I walked 5 k yesterday..........I have enough trouble keeping track and posting in one place....so I will have to stick to the dailies for now. I don't want to post what I eat....bores the **** out of me which will increase the risk of me eating out of boredom I totally eat when I am bored or lonely.....has nothing to do with being hungry at all.

Hope you have a great day......it has been such an awesome fall!

I'll check back later....I work evenings tonight and all weekend. So far nothing planned for Thanksgiving on Monday....might just make a little turkery here. Tues the 14th is our 14th wedding anni....hubby's turn to plan.

Bye for now!

Hey Liz - I almost forgot....yesterday you mentioned reading a book. I wanted to recommend another great one by James Dobson called "Preparing for Adolescence". I think it's a great book for anybody who is fixing to deal with the teenage years.! Also any of James Dobson's books are awesome - helpful - insightful - informative and filled with truth. He wrote "The Strong Willed Child", "When God Doesn't Make Sense" all sorts of books on marriage and family and relationships. His stuff is great and I just wanted to be sure and mention it to you.

and congrats on the 5k walk yesterday! wow!

hugs,
Cathy

I've yet to help a man button (haaaaaaaa) his buttons (sounds pathetic huh lol roflmfao)

Hi all,

Here I am in the middle of a day for a change! I have a sinus infection again and got back from the dr a bit ago w/my daughter who also has a sinus infection.

Anyway, Heidi and the dr were both pleased to see she'd lost another 10 lbs since the last time she was seen, for a total of 26 lbs. Go Heidi!

There is a new Curves opening up like a mile away from our house. Does anyone here belong to Curves? Do you like it?

thanks!
Cassie

Hi everyone!

Home from kindergarten,,having tuna wrap for lunch and milk! Yum......starving!

I did not enjoy curves here.......The facility was horrible....no change room....just a single toilet....not nice atmosphere.....the routine is boring.....and the music from the archives.....the hours terrible and the equipment tippy. But that is just me. I often stand alone in my opinions!

Have a good rest of the day everyone!

Eliz

P.S I will check out the Dobson book.......I don't go for everythign he says but I do listen to Focus on the Family from time to time.

My mom called and is having 20 to her place on Monday for thanksgiving....should be interesting

Default Hellooooooooooooooooo

Hi Gang,
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll I waited a week to get the big bandage off and boy was I in for a surprise! I did not know I had a big pin in the side and top of my finger....no wonder it hurts when I bang the tip on something..in fact I hit it on the tile while showering this morning and the Dr had to pull it out a bit ( for me to clean around twice a day!) I have to keep it dry 3 more weeks.then return for an x-ray but he said not to count on the pins getting out then .....so Oh boy...........I will tough it out!
When it is healed it will be wonderful! PLUS hubby still has to wash pots & pans

Yes Cathy muscle burns more calories than fat so that exercise is oh so important.whether we like it or not!

I didnt hear many respond to Liz's question about jobs and would like to know more about others!

Until next time
Take Care Cin

I will respond to Liz's question. I am the Executive Director of a fitness center and I will be going to school for electrolysis in Dec.

Cin my mom had pins and rods in her legs and it was weird when she cleaned them. I had to do it for her a few times. She kept them all when they got taken out and we took pictures of them next to a ruler to show how long they were. It was amazing that that stuff was in her legs. i hope you feel better soon.
