 Hi Everybody I hope you found your way to our new thread GREENEYEZ .

GLENDA You know I think you are right about the "smart dog" being in the book "The Watcher's". I will check it out in the book store and see if that is the one. "False Memory" is another of Koontz books that is kind of scary because its believable but boy was it ever a fast read.
The new grandson's room sounds just lovely. I bet you all can hardly wait for that little munchkin to put in an appearance.

I have to tell you gals, today was my day with my granddaughter. She goes to kindergarten and got her report today. I asked her if she would like to go out for lunch today in honour of this "great report" and she said, "yes I would, but to a grownup restaurant not McDonalds". I took her to a Perkins type one. The gal at the front asked if I preferred smoking or non-smoking I told her, "non". The Princess asked me what that meant so I explained that there were two sections in the restaurant one where people could smoke and one where they couldn't. The booth we were seated at had the little no-smoking sign which she noticed right away but she also noticed that the booths across from us did not have these signs, but there wasn't anybody sitting there either. We talked a bit about why people smoked and she knew that I had smoked a long time ago and said it was good that I didn't anymore because it was stinky and bad for my lungs. A short while later two ladies about my age sat in the booth across from us and they both lit up cigarettes. The Princess says to me, "oh yucky, I guess those two ladies want to go and see Jesus.....soon! :D

Well GREENEYEZ did your hubby pick up your new scale for you?
Hi LILY how are you coming along with your new computer? Did you put all your favorites on it now?
Weather was very dull and dreary today. I have WW tomorrow and I don't think I have done very well this week. Oh Brother. The good news is, we will still have tea time, and I always enjoy that.
TRUDY sent my granddaughter a animated e-card today and she was so pleased to receive it and sent one back to Trudy. Because she is too young to read, I told her the one she chose was a Easter card, but she said that was ok, because Trudy would know it was the nicest card "inside" the computer. :)
Ok, I guess that's all my news for today. Night all.

Glenda: The Gradsons room sounds adorable! My sister did that when she first had baby's and it was great! Great going on the loss!

Geri: Feel for you and the free service. Must be a real pain. Sounds like you are doing good with the group you are in.

Maria: I dont have a webcam so cant help you there! Sounds like fun to play with tho!

Slavika: Oh my! That story about Princess was to cute!!!!!!! Gotta love kids! Got puter going finally. Still have a few things to do on it. But for the most part it is done!

Lily Your have been losing so steadily. Good for you. What's your secret? Hows the new 'puter doing?
Margot Down another 1.9. WTG. Hope you get your PC problems fixed so you can get back here. You are my inspiration.
Greeneyez I think I keep spelling your name wrong LOL. Love your avatars, the bluebird and Betty Boop.
Maria You won't be seeing me on a web cam. I would have to be "on guard" all the time. LOl You are having a nice time in Sydney. Maintaining is much better than gaining.
Peggy How come your ISP is sending you a free Web Cam?
Geri That was funny about your ISP program. Our DH's have their own ideas - not always the best ideas - but their own  First Place is doing great. Good for you - you are leading the group?
Glenda 2.8 down WTG. You have a great start. That was a nice Anniversary celebration. Yes... we are a hardy bunch, although I had on my winter jacket that day. Old people aren't that hardy, my shorts come out in July and Aug.
Your grandson's room sounds adorable. I'll bet you just can't wait for his arrival.
Slavika The Princess is a hoot , just like her Baba. Glad she liked the card, but I can't seem to open my Easter card "someone" made a mistake in the address  See you tomorrow at WW, save me a seat, I won't be there for door opening.

G'day all,
5.00pm Tuesday afternoon.
Hair has been cut and coloured and I am all ready for the Webcam!!!! I am pleased the webcam has a 'privacy cover', I would say that I would use that quite regularly!:D
I am starting my courses tomorrow, tai chi at 12 and Adobe Photoshop at 6pm. DH is returning from Melbourne tonight. He rang today and has been told he is wanted in Melbourne for 2 weeks!!!!! I cannot believe it, me in Sydney, DH in Melbourne and home is Adelaide. I would be happy to go to Melbourne but I have just paid over $200 to do these courses. It is very frustrating not being able to make ANY plans. Of course my daughter is in Melbourne so I am now thinking I will go to Melbourne Thursday till the following Tuesday so I am back in time to attend my courses.
I have to say days like today make me very happy that I have access to the net, it is always good to read what you are all up to.
There is good news though, I am down 3 pounds :):):):)
Perhaps it was the result of eating melon all day yesterday. Watched Dr Phil on Oprah today and it all made a lot of sense what he said on weight loss.
Glenda, Margot and Lily you are all doing so well.

The experience you girls are having with your free ISP is interesting, I was thinking of changing over, I don't think I will bother, I don't need anymore hassles in my life.
Have a great day all
Cheers
Maria

Trudy: No secert. Just keep hanging in there. Im slow but sure. I always eat at the low to mid range. But then like this weekend we are going out to dinner so I will be using Banked points for that. Its our anniversary tomorrow. And we always go out to some nice place on the weekend. Loving my puter! I did crash it last night. ALAS.......But DH fixed it all better. I was very sad    I loaded a program that wasnt compatible to Windows 2000.

Maria: Boy your hubby is traveling alot! Poor you! Would hate not being able to make plans. Id go for the time you said so you can visit. Then you will be back in time for the courses. WTG on the loss! Thats great!

This board sure loaded slowly today. Didnt think I was ever gonna get here. Any body else having that problem?

We are having rolling Blackouts again. The power was off at work yesterday. Right at the time to go home. The traffic is bad enough here. But with out traffic lights made it even worse.

Picture this..... the year is 2021, a van from the old folks home down the road stops at the WW meeting bldg. Two silver haired dollies struggle out, wearing their uniforms, ..black stretched out, elastic popped tights, and the thinest, lightest blouses they could find. (They know this for a fact because they weighed them on their WW scale before they left home.) They have their trusty joggers on as they shuffle down the stairs to get weighed in. It hasn't been a good week (too many treats), so they will have to pay today, but they are in a good mood, strange as it may seem, they like going to WW. They laugh and joke with the receptionist and when they get to the scale, they say "just write it down, I don't want to know what the number is", exchange more laughter with the leader. They automatically head for the chairs they have been sitting in for the last 40 years. One is drinking crystal light and the other has Swiss Miss fat free, sugar free hot chocolate. They talk to all their neighbors, asking how everyone did, encouraging those who need it and praising those who did well. They briefly talk about their latest PC problems, say bad things about the ISP they have, check to see if each other has read the latest at 3FC and see what thread has been deleted at Dotti's and why. They WW exchange recipes with their friends and then settle in to hear the latest from their leader. One hour later they are back at the home, drinking tea and eating muffins. Another great day!

G'day all

9.30 am Wednesday March 21 my 56th birthday!!!!!!!!!

Trudy who would those silver haired ladies be in your little story????? Perhaps by then I can get on a super super sonic jet to get there in time for the meeting and the tea and muffins after. In fact we could take turns as to who makes the jet ride to the next meeting :D:D

My birthday didn't start off to well, I dislocated my little toe (something I tend to do quite regularly but is still quite painful). I am off to my first Tai Chi today, was going to walk there but will now drive because of my toe.
DH and I had a long talk last night re our future. I have been worried that this job is just too much but he really enjoys the challenges and feels it probably is hardest on me. I agree it is hard but I do enjoy the benefits being able to buy what i like and being able to help out the kids as they start setting up homes etc. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought this is how our life would pan out at times I pinch myself 'is this all for real'. I have decided I just have to adjust and go with the flow and make the most of the opportunities presented to us despite the frustrations.
My daughter is very keen for us to come and live in Melbourne for a bit.
Lily congratulations on you anniversary, hope you have a great time. May 2 we will have been married 31 years, the good thing is we still like each other :)

I also found the net very slow yesterday, I always worry that it is my laptop, pleased to hear you had similar problems.

Have a great day all

Yea it's spring! Trudy could you be identifying with one of those ladies from the "home". That was funny. Lily have a Happy Anniversary. I had a slow time getting on the net yesterday too. I thought of you when I read the paper this morning and it had an article about the blackouts. I wondered if it affected you. Went past a gas station today and gas was $1.21 a gallon. Hasn't been that low in long time. Hope it stay low when we go on vacation in June. Greeneyez I liked your paintings - especially The Courtyard. You are very talented. Maria you must have posted while I was writing this. Now I know what time it is in Australia. Happy Birthday. You are just a kid. Have you got your web cam set up yet? Did my walk in the park before the rain came. We have been trying to walk outside instead of the mall. Much nicer. See you tomorrow, Peggy

Trudy: Hum. I wonder who those two silver haired ladies are? I just cant figure that out....

Maria: Happy Birthday!!! I do the same thing with my toes. DH laughs at me all the time. Im always running into something. They arent that big but they sure find the end tables alot!
Thats a long time to be married! Glad you still like him to! Im debeting on mine.. Not really Im gonna keep him. I need him for my puter! :D

Peggy: The blackouts are a pain thats for sure. It really wouldnt be so bad if the traffic lights didnt go out to. You would think they could plan them around the heavy Traffic times. But no doesnt seem to matter what time it is. Took me 1/2 hour to go 1 block yesterday.

 Hi Everybody
I have to say, I sure enjoy coming here to read what you all have to say. Trudy I laughed the whole time I read your post. :D :D Now I know Lily and perhaps a couple of the other gals don't know who you were talking about (yah right) and I certainly will not enlighten them. Ok, I'll just say this. Maybe Trudy and I do have silver hair and that's all I'm going to say on this matter.
Maria ~~~~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~~~~
You bet you and your hubby should make the most of all these great opportunities that are coming your way. Good for you guys. Sorry about your boo boo :( toe but congrats on the nice weight loss. I managed to stay the same but a loss sure would have been nice. Next week. :)
Congrats also to Lily, Glenda, and Margot for their weight losses too. WTG you gals. :)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU LILY
Well Trudy what do you think will there be room in the van for Maria when she comes to visit in the year 2021???
Good night all.

Last time I officially weighed in was Jan 16, since then I gained 1.6 lbs :( ....The good news is that I am back OP. :) I keep gaining and losing the same lbs. though.
Slavika Absolutely room for Maria, and anyone else who wants to join us.. how about it gals, we could have a lot of fun  Of course you will end up like us... :D
Maria ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY.. Too bad your DH couldn't be with you today, but you can make up for that when you see him. I checked out my Atlas, and Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide really aren't that far from each other. Definitely go to Melbourne to visit with your D. Enjoy the good times. Sorry about the toe, I broke one almost 3 yrs ago and the sucker still hurts sometimes. They are tender little digits.
Peggy How did you get to see Greeneyez paintings? :?: I have been there 3 times and I can't get past the Fortunecity logos.
Lily ... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.. how many years? Don't get rid of your DH, PC literate hubbies are hard to come by. Do you like your Windows 2000? 1/2 hr to go 1 block must be so frustrating. Sorry you are back in the blackouts. They should happen during working hours and then they could send you home.

 Hi Geri and Margot, I guess you still can't get here to post.... and Greeneyez are you lost?

Big Congratulations to all the losers....

Have a great day tomorrow gals, I am meeting my DD at 3:00 in the afternoon and we are going shopping. :s:

Good Morning, Raining here again. Hope it stops this afternoon so we can walk outside. Trudy I am going to try to lose the same 2 lbs that I lost last week. They mysteriously came back. Can't imagine how that happened. I just clicked on the site that Greeneyez posted in thread 101 and it just took me to her paintings. Lily I would be so frustrated to take so long going a block. I don't like being stuck in traffic. Have to go do my flylady 27 fling boogie now, Peggy

 Hi Everybody
I had a really nice day out with my friend today but boy did the weather ever take a turn for the worse. I checked to see the temp. in fahrenheit it is 10 degrees, with a 14 mile per hour north wind and snow.
Spent some time looking around a new craft store that recently opened...it was really nice. I had bought a couple of bras before I left on holidays and really liked one of them. Today I went to get a couple more......you guessed it, they were discontinued.
Maybe I'm in a rut, and I have to spread my wings, and experience new things, like under-wire bra's. :D

I think this is a good evening to cozy up with my book. I'll come back later to see what you all have been up to.
TTFN.

 Hi all...
Slavika ..yesterday was the first day of Spring, we were wearing little spring jackets and today the winter parkas had to come out again.. what happened? :(
It never fails, just when I find some necessary article of apparel, they discontinue it. I think it is an unwritten rule.
Peggy.. I can't exercise any more or eat any less, so I have no idea how these last 2 lbs are ever going to come off. :?: Just keep on going I guess.
Lily.. Where are you, playing with your new PC or stuck in the dark somewhere?

My DD was sick with a cold and fever today, so our shopping afternoon had to be postponed. Her DH brought her home some chicken soup and pudding
Since I was home I ironed 3 weeks worth of laundry ... I can't believe I let it pile up like that, it was a horrible experience.

We sure are quiet here today, see you all tomorrow...

G'day all,

Nice to read all your cheery posts. It must happen in every country re the discontinuation of necessary items :(
It must be the time for buying bras, I also found the particular brand I wear discontinued and in need of new ones, paid a small fortune for the new ones and I am not too sure if they are as flattering as they could be ;)

It is a beautiful morning here in sydney (8.40am Friday) and I have decided to take myself off and do a bit of exploring of the city. DH won't be 'home' till late tonight, too long a day to sit behind a computer.
The continual change in my life has still not abated. We are now moving to a different apartment very close to the city :) and the move to Melbourne is off :(. DH is going for 1 week to Melbourne on April 2 so I have decided to forego one of my lessons and go with him. I figured I would rather be in Melbourne for the week than stay in Sydney on my own for the sake of a 2 hour lesson.
You are right Trudy it is not that far To Adelaide or Melbourne but it still is a 2 day drive to Adelaide and a one day drive to Melbourne. (or 2.10 hour flight Syd-Adl and 1.15 Syd-Melb) It is not something that one decides to do at the spur of the moment.

I am thrilled there will be room in the bus Slavika and Trudy but I had intended coming over a bit earlier than 2021!!!!! It will be more like 2006. I hope that will still be OK. :D
Seriously DH and I would very much like to visit Canada and Alaska, it is one of the holidays on top of our list.
So you see he just has to keep on earning the money a bit longer so we can go in style.
Lily I wish you were here to help me with my webcam. I did install it but my laptop slowed down soooo much and some other things did not quite work so I have taken it off again. DH said he will have a look for me when he gets a chance. I call him 'my helpdesk', it is just that the 'helpdesk' has had other priorities of late.
Gerri please enlighten us what it is you mean by 'flylady's boogie fling'. Sounds interesting ;)
Have a great day all and a good weekend.
Cheers

I believe I know where everyone is. They are all trying to access this site. It takes me a good 5 times of hitting Reload to get all the way to the bottom of the thread. I think it is because of all the moving images that it takes so much memory? Is that a good guess, Lily?

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I am taking off tomorrow for NO REASON. I am just tired. I want to walk around the lake (3 1/2 miles) and clean house. (a little).

It is time to go home. Everybody, have a good three days! I will see you on Monday.

 Hi Lizziepie What a cute user name, of course you can join us. You will fit right in, Senior Moments and all. With 14 grandchildren you have your own Dynasty...wonderful. I also have Osteoporosis, what is MIACALCIN? Maybe that is something I need.
Glenda I think you are right about all the moving images slowing down everything, but they are so nice I would hate to see them go. Have a nice 3 day weekend. :)
Maria It's never a dull moment with you. Moving again, that is what keeps you young, and on your toes.

On Dotti's board someone foundflylady.net- a site that gives "housecleaning and organizing tips with homespun humor" - its cute.

Lily I was told that Windows 2000 was more office orientated, and not good for home use.. do you agree? That was sweet of you giving up PC for one day to celebrate your  anniversary.
I ran into Slavika today at Safeway, and she was buying more Vector cereal...what do you do with all the Vector you buy? Lucky for me you are always leaving when I arrive and you never get a chance to see what I buy week after week... :s: Maybe the reason I can't drop my few lbs is because I pick up a box of Fudgsicles every week....just for me. :D

My PC is still freezing when I SEND e-mail, and my Leader/Advisor Slavika pointed out that it might be because I have 21 annimated Avatars downloaded. ...do you think???... so I will be using one every post and then deleting them **sigh** I sure hate to see them go, especially since I can't remember where I got them from in the first place..OH BROTHER!

Bye all....

Maria: Dont think I could help with the web cam. Never tried one before. Those are the things that I go "Oh Honey I need you to help me" :) Boy tell you DH's work to make up there minds! I would go nuts moving around like you are. But at least you get to go with him.

Glenda: Yes it does slow things down a bit. Good for you taking the day off! The walk around the lake sounds like fun. Can I go? But dont expect me to help clean house. I dont do that. :)

Trudy: Dont!!! get rid of your avatars. Arent they on your computer some where? Not in your email? They would have nothing to do with your email unless you have them sitting in a message there. Hey I buy a thing of Skinny cows every week. Fudgesciles arent bad. And what is Vector Cereal? Never heard of it. Windows 2000 isnt office oriented. It is mostly sold to companys as it works better for Lan systems, and also depending on what the comapany wants. It just uses a different platform to run, called NT.

slavika

 Hi Everybody

Trudy maybe Lily's right about the avatars not causing your computer to crash when you send e-mails. Maybe the two things....you downloading all your avatars and e-mail crashing just happened at the same time. :s: Lily about the Vector cereal I have been buying and eating and eating...........well you get the picture. It's made by Kellogg's. The box says, crunchy flakes and granola oats and soy protein clusters. Its 1-1/4 cups cereal 205 calories. :) It's really quite good.
Maria I think when we were younger we were probably always looking to buy the newest "whatevers"
and I still do like to do that with some things. Bra's, panties and some make-up items I just like to get the same products. I guess over time I collected a drawer of panties that "bug" me when I wear them...same with some of the bra's I've bought, and make-up YIKES I don't even know how many lipsticks I've bought and put on ONCE. I always like to buy cosmetics or cream or something where I get a "little gift". It's usually another lipstick I will never in this lifetime wear or a blush the color of grapes or something but I am soooo happy to get the "gift". BROTHER. :o LOL
Lizziepie hope to "see" you back here tomorrow.
I guess that's it...so I'll say good night to you all.

G'day all,

4 pm friday afternoon.
I have returned from my bit of exploring and I didn't get lost once. Bought a lovely hot pink linen shirt (a bargain of course) and had my cards read!!!!
The girl was an astrologer and also read tarot cards, I know it is rubbish but I still do it :)
She told me all the things I wanted to hear but also said that I have to make a life for myself in order to be happy. She was lovely we talked for about 1 1/2 hours about many different things, it was supposed to have been a 30 minute reading!!!
Slavika that is exactly what I do, I only buy cosmetics when there is a gift with purchase. I figure cosmetics are so expensive I might as well get a gift as well :) I often end up giving the 'gifts' away and that is fine. Now and again I have a clean up and toss all the little trial potions and lotions and then I can start again!
Good for you Glenda taking the day off, taht walk sounds great.
Must be off
Cheers
Maria

hahaha...I can't believe how lost I was...but I found you all now. Slavia, the note you sent let me know I was missed and I thank you! :)
Yes he bought my scale...now I have to wait a week to weigh myself again to see if it works. If I've lost, it works. If I didn't ...back to the store it goes :)

Painter thank you so much. That's one of my favorite paintings. (having to deal with rough stone, marble, water etc. in basically one hue)

Trudy YUP!!! I was lost biggg time. hahaha... Oh and I love the avatars too...ain't they a bunch of fun? I think I build webpages just to have someplace to use them :)

sending out my happy birthday and happy anniversary with the rest of the congradulations. My 55 is coming up Monday...can't say I'm anxious to have it ...my hubby kids me all the time now cause he says I'm a senior citizen and can get discounts at different places....I said "Ohn no I'm not!!! I REFUSE to take them"....he says he does the few times they have said "Oh you're entitled to a discount" when they wait on him...(he's 10 1/2 yrs YOUNGER than me) hahaha... but I look younger than he does...thank gawd!

Well, y'all have a good night..probably when I get online again, you'll have disappeared again & I'll have to do the Sherlock Holmes bit again and try to find you!

Hi everyone, Missed yesterday because I didn't feel well. The cold that is going around found me. Maria I can't keep up with you. What an exciting life. Don't get too comfortable in one place or you will be off again. I like to buy creams and stuff too. Just got some Red Door perfume for my birthday and already had some so I returned it for a little jar of $50 cream. Almost had a stroke when she said the price. It's nice but I would't but it again unless it works miracles. But I did get the gift and it has one of those real dark lipsticks. Ugh! If you sign up for the fly lady be prepared for a ton of e-mails. She is funny but it is too much. The 27 fling boogie is taking a bag and filling it with 27 things to toss out. It helps to keep clutter down. Lizziepie welcome and join in. Lily hope you are dealing with the power outages o.k. Everyone have a nice weekend. My washer just stopped and I am going to hang my sheets outside. Nice today but tomorrow - snow. Go figure, Peggy

Hi girls,

Glad that I was able to get in today and see how everybody is doing. Happy belated anniversary to Lily and Happy belated birthday to Maria. Hope both days were great.

Still having problems with this dumb ISP. Just found out that most of the people I sent messages to about my new e-mail addy never got them. I should have realized something was fishy in Denmark when I would only have 2 or 3 messages in 3 or 4 days. It just took a while for me to catch on.

Glad you are enjoying your new cp, Lily. I wish I were close to you so I could come over and have you teach me about these foul little machines.

Maria, you are 17 hours in front of me. When it was 1 something Monday afternoon it was 8 something Tuesday night here. Glad to get that mystery cleared up.

Welcome Greeneyze. Did I spell that right. I am going to try and visit your site again. The first time I tried I got one of those fatal error messages and couldn't even get back to 3FC.

My friend is visiting me from my old home town. She got in late last night and will be here till Sunday afternoon. We will shop and eat, eat and shop, etc. You get the picture.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

How do you get to page 2? Whenever I click on it it just goes back to page 1. Is there some kind of secret to it?
I haven't been able to get a second page since they switched to the new stuff.

Hi everyone: Thanks for inviting me on board. It will probably take me a while to get everyone straight, but will try. It took me a while to find #103 also. And it also takes me a while to download the thread. I supposed it was because I have Webtv rather than a computer, but if it is because of all the cute images:D so be it.

I am in the same boat of losing the same two or three pounds over and over. I just can't seem to stay at my goal, so I go and weigh in and pay and then come home and tell myself I am going to do better.

Australia is one place I've always dreamed of visiting, but we'll have to win the lottery first. Did you take in any of the Olympics?

Anyone have some wonderful new recipes to share? I love to cook and try new things. I believe y email is on my profile, but if not I'll pass it on.

Congratualtions on all the birthdays and anniversaries. We celebrated our 25th by going to Tortola in the BVI for a week. This is the 2nd time around for us both, so if we counted all our years of marriage experience, yours, mine, and ours, we'd have 70years. Should count for something, don't you think. We both refer to our 'first life' and our 2nd life which we are living and enjoying.

Once again thanks for including me. Ann

Slavika: That ceral sounds interesting. I will have to see if we have it here. Like all the stuff it has in it. Will look for it tomorrow. I need something new.

Maria: I had my cards read once. And it was fun! She was all wrong at what she told me tho. I was suppose to marry this Guy (who was a friend) that I went with to have it done.

Greeneyes: Gald you found your way back. Was wondering what happened to you.

Peggy: Sorry your sick. Colds are the worse this time of year. Take care of yourself. Oh that flylady. I heard its alot of email. So I will pass. 50$ cream? Oh my!

Geri: I havent had a problem getting to page 2. Maybe you need to be right on the 2. There is also a place in the prefrences you can change it to how many message you want per page. I changed mine so the entire thread would not take to long to download.

Ann: Sounds like a great way to spend your Anniversary. Some day I would like to go to a Bed & Breakfast some where for the weekend. We went to one a while ago when some people got married and it was really nice. Would like to go back to the same one. There was lots to do around the town and was alot of fun.

Yikes is it cold today. The sky is clear and blue, but that wind is like a razor. We need some California weather here.
Lily The place in preferences ~ is that DEFAULT POSTS PER THREAD: Use Forum Default? That is how mine is set. What would we do without you?? Never leave us. :nono:
Ann You need to get onto our Recipe Page to see some of our favorites. Once again.. HELP LILY! ..if I go back to check the address I will lose my reply.
Geri That is nice having a visit from an old friend, how often do you get to see her? Enjoy the weekend. :D I think you had better get a new ISP
Peggy Sorry your not feeling well. Every time Clinique has bonus time, I buy something, and then I end up giving most of the stuff to my DD, but I just can't resist the purchase. :spin:
Greeneyez it's a good thing you found us, we sent out a search party of 1 to find you  Our threads are numbered so just go to the latest number and there we will be. :D
Maria  hot pink, bet it looks great on you. Are you a Clinique junky too? I've got this amazing stuff I put around my eyes now.. it cost a fortune so it must be good... RIGHT? Tell me what I want to hear.
Slavika What have you been up to today? I didn't sleep well last night and could just close my eyes now, but if I do I will be up again all night too. sometimes you just can't win.

I am making a Whole Wheat & Honey Potato Bread right now and the house smells heavenly  I sure do love my bread machine. Talk to you'all tomorrow....

Had to edit... my star is doing what it was supposed to do yesterday ~~ isn't it cute?

 Hi Everybody

Lizziepie What kind of cooking/baking do you like to do. I really like to bake things, like muffins, scones, cookies and desserts, things like that. The cooking part, well I have a couple of favorites but I don't think I really "shine" in that direction. :D
Until you mentioned having "webTV" I have to say I didn't really know what that was, so I looked on the internet and got some info on it. Do you like it? What do you connect your keyboard to? What is the cost per month to do it that way? I know I ask a lot of questions. If there is some special things you would like to bake let me know...here is my e-mail:
slavika@home.com
Our e-mail addresses do not show up in our profiles so you would have to give me yours. Lily set up a special board for our group and we post recipes there. Trudy I think mentioned it in her post. Lily will tell you how to access it. Once again Ann, I'm glad you joined us. :) Oh, I made a WW Crustless Apple Pie on Tuesday for my Tea Time gals and they all enjoyed it and said it would be just great to serve to company.
Geri glad to see you back here. Enjoy your weekend with your friend. Peggy sorry you are feeling crummy. If the weather gets any colder here we'll all be sick too. Boy the winds are wicked tonight.
Trudy when I was out on Wednesday I saw the gift Clinique was giving out this time round. It was really nice. My D-inlaw and grandchildren were here this afternoon and my D-inlaw said she was thinking of buying something so she could get the gift. I forget how much you had to spend....was it $21.00? I probably could use a new blush....hmmmm. I love your star, now that's its moving it looks really nice.
I picked up my years supply of disposable contact lenses this morning then came home and made cookies. Spent a happy couple of hours with the  grandchildren and then played on the computer until it was time to fix dinner. It was a good day.
Talk to you all tomorrow. Night.

Trudy: Its under Edit Options and it is called: Default Posts per Thread. You can change it to how many threads to see on a page. I made mine 10. Forum defalt gives you the normal long page.

Ann: Slavika is the master cook here. She cooks everything!
I did send you a private message on the recipes as email do not show. But if you need more info you can email me at lilygib@yahoo.com

Slavika: Is that you at the computer? :) Or is that ralph trying to mess it up again?

Hi: I'm getting to be a 'night-owl'
Trudy- To answer your question about Miacalcin- It is a nasal spray which I use everyday. Left Nostril today, Right tomorrow, etc. It is some type of hormone, not like estrogen, which is supposed to help you keep what bone mass you have, and hopefully add some to it. I'll let you know how it has worked for me. I've used it for a year, and just had another bone scan and am waiting for the results. I can't take Fosamax, or Actonel, because of adverse reactions to stomach and esophoagus.Dont want any more ulcers. Also take about 1500mg. of calcium

Slavika- Webtv allows us to access the web, do searches, and all that stuff, and of course email. The cost is about 21.00 per month. It hooks into your television, so you read your material on the TV screen. The keyboard is a remote, no wires. We also have a printer, so I can copy things I want to keep. When you are through with the web, you can go back to conventional tv. We don't have to worry about viruses, crashes, etc. It has its limitations, but at this time we didn't really want anything more.
I like to bake pies and cookies. Also like to experiment with new dishes and combinations. Love to make soup too.and eat it. Time to get some zzzzz:yawn: Goodnight. Ann

Lily, I thought if I could change the number of replies on a page, that it would make my computer a bit faster. Showing you how much I am a barbarian, I need to know where the Edit Options are.

We are getting an upgrade at work on our computers, so perhaps this will help with the trouble I am having accessing the whole thread.
