Those of you who daily read what I write are familiar with the fact that "the metal monster" and I do not have a loving relationship going on......and haven't had for many years!
In Phase 1 I did lose 5 pounds, and was very grateful for each and every one to be gone to never never land!!!:cb:
I began Phase 2 very tentatively...adding back only a few fruits at first, and then carefully a whole grain bread or cereal
occasionally. I decided when I began Phase 2 I would not let the scale affect my attitude. So, I only weigh every other week.
Actually, I have been afraid for the past week and a half to get on the darn thing, and have kept it hidden away in my bathroom linen closet well out of sight!:o
I have been trying on my "little clothes" from the back of the closet and have been proud of the fact that I have been able to fit into these once again (after about 9 months) . I've had several NSV lately, and have felt more in control of my eating and behavior than I have felt in such a long time.
O.K......today I finally got up the courage to hop on "the monster" and guess what???? I lost another 3 pounds! I almost fell off! :dancer: I am so proud of myself...I just had to tell someone who is going through the same trials as I. I want you all to know that if it wasn't for all my sisters on the Beach and our checking in with each other daily....I never could have achieved this win!
Thanks Beach Buddies for helping me to stay focused. I'm still not quite there yet....but I know I am well on the way!
