Weight Loss Surgery - stupid stuff

ok ya'll... you know how some people attribute everything from hangnails to sniffles to the wls???

i know that somewhere out there, some well-meaning person will think that my aching knee, asthma, and yellowjacket sting reaction are all related to the surgery..

what are some of the other stupid thing that people have thought or told you about???

not too much stupid stuff has happened to me....after all, I am not that far out and don't get out much....BUT

yesterday I went to the new health food store down town. I asked the girl about calcium (not carbonate). We talked, I mentioned that I had wls and she then started to list all the foods that I should be eating to cover my calcium needs. I tried to explain to her that I physically can't eat that much to cover my needs.

I can see it in her eyes....fat girl can't eat much...yea right.
