Default Ok maybe I missed it...

I have read the book, however I cannot find a full list of "acceptable" list of foods for Phase 1 foods. I don't want to slip up. I am not sure what veggies are "good" and what are "bad". Should I follow Atkins list? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to get started tomorrow.

Hi: Look right after the Phase one menus in the book . I believe it is page 168. There is a long list of what to eat, as well as the foods to avoid for Phase 1. Good luck. Ann (Lizzie)

Welcome to The Beach, the cheeriest place on the Net.

Of you look at the Stickies at the top of this Forum, you will find acceptable food lists. Are there other foods you are questioning? Just let us know.

The lists do seem a little short, though Summergirl's update is nice.

Dr. A is publishing a new book called South Beach Diet Good Fats/Good Carbs Counter which should be an easy way to find the most appropriate foods. Unfortunately, the book is not due to be published until April (according to Amazon)
