I'm starting up another round with Brazil Butt Lift, my favorite workout routine from a few years ago. My goal is to use it several times a week. I'll state my goal as 18 workouts with BBL.

I'll also be walking several times a week, but for simplicity's sake I'm only going to track my BBL exercise in this challenge.

Good luck, everyone!

Hi Ladies,

I have a dumb question! I want to bite the bullet and join my first exercise challenge, and do the 30 day shred. Does anyone know if you take a day off to let your body recover or do you do 30 days consecutively?

I am sedentary so my goal is going to be simple, no giving up, whether I do all 30 or not. I am going to take measurements and do before and after pics!

chunkahalunkha I am so curious about the Brazilian Butt workout... is it a long workout? Do you see pretty good results? I used to have a nice round butt, but at the time I hated it because I thought it was too big. Now it is a pancake and I long for the butt I used to have!

7/1

Hi kfunk - I'm a big fan of BBL. I naturally have legs that are thicker than I'd like and a relatively big booty for my frame (I'm ok with that last part ). I never believed it would be possible for a workout to alter my natural shape, but back when I did BBL a few years ago, it actually slimmed out my legs considerably. I got better results using it than I have from anything else. My butt got slightly rounder too, but mostly it just got more *pow* because with thinner thighs it looked more pronounced.

I highly rec giving it a try sometime. They have a plan that's designed for adding volume to a flat booty. I bet your round booty is just waiting to pop out again! The workouts are mostly around 35 minutes, except for a full body sculpting that's, I think, about 50 minutes. Back when I did a couple rounds with it, I didn't even follow any of the plans, but instead just did my favorite workouts. Even with doing it my own way, I still got results that I hadn't believed my body was capable of.

Sorry to sound like an infomercial. I just really love this workout!

I'm currently out of shape so not yet able to do the full workouts. I'm doing the 10 minute workout that comes with it called Bum Bum Rapido. After two weeks of this, I'll give one of the longer workouts a try.

Miles so far:

July 1: 2.44 miles
July 2: 0.86 miles - got about 1/3 of a mile in on our usual evening route, and doggo heard fire works and then bolted in the opposite direction. Luckily I had a good hold on her leash or she'd be gone. She's a rescue dog, so I'm always exceptionally patient with her. Got down in front of her and talked to her, reassured her I wasn't going to let anything hurt her. We got home without incident, but she'll be hiding out for the rest of the night, and the next few days will be **** for her. Better luck tomorrow!

Week 1 total: 3.3

Yesterday's walk marked a whole year of daily exercise for me!

kfunk6113: I did the 30 Day Shred in 60 days, a few years ago, by doing it every other day. That worked well for me.

July goal: 1200 minutes

1: 30 walk; 30/1200

July 1: 2.44 miles
July 2: 0.86 miles
July 3: 1.09 miles - we've solved our fireworks issue for now. I don't work til this afternoon today, so we did a 1 mile walk this morning when we woke up. Would've gone 2 miles, but I live in Denver and it was already 80 degrees at 9am this morning. Will try for an evening walk once I get home at 7:30pm tonight.

Week 1 total: 4.39

gardenerjoy: Congratulations on your year of exercise!
jrkessle: That is far too early in the day for it to be that hot! Way to go getting that first mile in though!

RunningRedHead it'll be in the 90's all week here. Luckily it's dry heat, but it's still too hot for my fur-partner if it's above 80. I'm off at 7 tonight, so I'll try to take her for a quick walk before any fireworks start so she doesn't freak out again.
