Out of town visitors create such fun as we try to see everything in just one day. One of the best parts of Boston is that you can visit the historical stuff - glad to know that you're still buried here, Paul Revere - and then the market place at Faneuil Hall with a zillion food options. I settled on just a pistachio gelato with fond memories of Rome. It was close enough for my taste.

Unfortunately, it also means that I've eaten in restaurants four times over the weekend. That just isn't good - even when trying to eat rationally. But I've satisfied my need for a large, juicy hamburger for a spell.

Good morning!

Summer "officially" starts this week and I'm ready! Going to wear shorts and sunscreen to work all week. There are definitely perks to my job!

Good week all!

So hot here. Do high temperatures melt body fat?

If they do, I'll be melting away for sure!

Sounds fun, Bill. You live in a very cool and historic place.

Nice! Especially when you are in winter gear so much of the year. Enjoy!

We're smack in the middle of our heatwave. It was nice to get out of town yesterday to the relatively cool temperature of 80 near the coast. Today we're expecting 119. Tomorrow will be the worst day at 121+. That said, we were able to keep the swamp coolers on last night and we sure slept well because of it. I doubt we'll be able to do that tonight.
