I know nobody's around, but I thought I'd leave something for everyone to see in the morning! I'm working today, poor me, and it's been an icky day. My shift is 1-10 p.m., so I have just two hours to go. Think I'll go get some food ... I'm supposed to have an hour for dinner anyway. I had a story assignment earlier that took me to Colonial Williamsburg ... I managed to pop into a few shops and buy some stuff! But right now I'm sitting here listening to the police scanner and praying nothing happens.
I had a wonderful four-day weekend, though! Asheville, NC, is a fabulous place. So beautiful, in the mountains, and it was nice to get away from the humidity near the coast for a few days. And my sister, who is now a certified massage therapist, gave me a wonderful massage that lasted about an hour and a half. Of course, then I had to drive seven hours home the next day, so I couldn't just revel in the loose muscles for very long. Saturday, DH and I went to a music festival (to see Camper van Beethoven and Cracker) in Virginia Beach, and the concerts were right on the sand. It was very cool. Sunday I slept a lot, and here I am today.
I read the posts from the past few days ... I'm interested to start the Flex Points plan myself. I missed WI last week so I didn't get the stuff. Laura, I so hear you about the cost. I don't really have the extra $$, and I feel like I've been throwing it away the past 3 weeks because I haven't lost much. I need to get myself back on track, but I don't usually do so well if I don't go to meetings. I wish you bunches of luck!
Jayne: How exciting to hear the baby's heartbeat!
Um ... now I can't remember anything else. Oh, we have a new member, right? Welcome skinnybride! I got married in November and unfortunately did not lose as much as I had hoped to. I planned the wedding in only 5 months, and lost 12 lbs, but I had hoped for much more. Then I gained almost 20 after the wedding, which brought me back to WW. I wish oodles of weight-loss luck to the brides out there ... you can do it!:strong:
OK, stomach growling now ... see you all tomorrow!
