Default Too much fruit?!

Hi all, just wondering how much fruit you're all eating? I'm having at minimum 7 pieces a day. Mostly mandarins and apples, also my points are 36! Does that seem like too many to you?
Thanks for your advice!

I hear this in my meetings from Lifetimers and people who have lost/are losing a lot of weight: it's not the fruit. People stall or slow down or gain, they want to blame the fruit. No one got fat eating oranges and watermelon, y'know?

If you're losing, don't worry about it. I eat a LOT of fruit and vegetables and when I don't, I don't lose as much. IDK why. Possibly because I'm more hungry and end up poking around for food that isn't free, maybe because fruit and vegetables have such a high water and fiber content? No idea. But I can look at my tracker and on the weeks I wasn't eating a lot of fruit and vegetables, I lose maybe .6. On the weeks I had fruit with or for every snack and tons of vegetables with every meal, 3 - 5 pounds.

Honestly, if you are losing, don't worry about the fruit. And if you aren't losing, I would check a lot of other things (like portion control and tracking EVERY thing and how often are you eating out) before I worried about fruit.

Good luck!!!

I think the amount and the type of fruit do matter at some point. If you are happy with your current weight loss, then it doesn't matter. However if you are not losing and is still tracking within your points, then you need to look at your fruits more closely.
