We must be the only ones with an interest, LOL.

My DH loves fried foods but I don't eat them. I was thinking this would be an easy way for me to prepare them for him.

I have one, but I only cook onions, fish, liver and fries in it.
My wife hates the fish and onion smells that linger in the house.
So I have a porch with an electric outlet. This way those smells are outside. I have a very cheap version. But I can't imagine cooking fish and onions twice a week without it.

Do you batter and "fry" or do you just put the foods in plain, without batter?
