Morning Jess (and everyone about to post). My wrist is feeling much better, so I'll type a little more today.

We had an ultrasound yesterday that went well. We saw baby and its heartbeat. This early, you can't really see much at all, so we're scheduled to have another in two weeks to make sure that everything is developing normally. We're pretty happy about it, though, and our doctor told us that now we have about a 90% chance of hanging on to this one, now that it has an established heartbeat.

I'll be back later to post some more.

Had a second free, and wanted to drop in to say a quick hello to everyone!! I am SO loving this new WW FlexPoints and have stayed at my Points Target for the last two days. Sure, two days isn't that long, but knowing that I have those 35 points to use however I choose makes it SO much easier to stay OP for me.

Anyway, things here are busy. Aaron is still staying with me, but I've asked him to find someplace else to stay until after I'm done with nights (around the middle of October). He's not happy, but I told him that I'm such a bear on nights that I might kill him. And I wasn't joking or exaggerating. I am SO grumpy on nights.

Anyway, work is busy, but I'm thouroughly enjoying it. There's an opening for a job that I'm pretty much pre-selected for. I'm trying to decide if I even want to apply for it. It's in the plant and is such a different atmosphere. Over here, it's all laid back and we do lots of fun stuff. If I go over there, it will be busy all the time and we probably wouldn't do as much fun stuff. Then again, that might not be a bad thing... Of course, the job in the plant is a pay raise. I just don't know what to do. I've weighed the pros and cons and there are more pros, but honestly, I'm just scared to go someplace else. I know I'll miss it over here and I'm afraid I won't be good at the job in the plant.

Anyway, that's what's going on here. I haven't even been around to lurk much the last couple of days, so I'm going to go read some old posts. :)

I'll try to stop in again soon!

Hey All,

went to the vet yesterday and the cat is fine, she just needs to gain some weight and the vet gave me some anti-diarrea meds for her (ah the joy of giving cats meds).

I jogged yesterday evening and ate 23 points for the day (thanks to the activity I didn't have to dive into the flexpoints). I have even been tracking my points! I don't have much to lose or anything, but since the fall is fast approaching, I'd like to be able to fit into all my pants comfortably!

I think I'll spread my points through thelong weekend ideally at using 10 flex points today, 10 flex points tomorrow, 10 on Sunday and 5 on Monday. Not that I'll always use all of them, but for a long weekend the points tend to add up.

Jess: heya, how are things with you?

Take care!

Ali:)

Jess: Well weigh your choices carefully, I am kind of in a similar situation, but think about it this way, we're very lucky in this economy to be able to have a choice of jobs. I wish you the best of luck and whatever you will choose will be the best choice. I am sure you will be good at either job!

Congratulations Jayne! I'm so glad the Dr. is so positive about this baby! How cool was it to hear the heartbeat?

Jess - GO FOR IT! I know change is scary but it is the way we learn and grow. I know you've got the cons outlined so here are some pluses: 1) good-bye catty co-workers, 2) PAYRAISE!!!!!, 3) learn new skills. Applying cannot hurt you. Worst case scenario - they offer it and you say no. You said pre-selcted - that means these people already know you can do the job so don't worry about that aspect of it. Please, please, please.....at least apply for it! Don't make a decision until you've had an interview and learned more about the opportunity! Off my soapbox now.....

Ali - I've never given a cat meds but it doesn't sound like fun.

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.

Hey gals,

Would you believe I just got out of bed? :dz: Nice! I haven't slept in for such a long time. my company is still sleeping too! We had a fun time last night having everyone over. I didn't even need to dive into my flex points! Perfect! Today should be a good day. I'm off for my massage at 1:30 & we're going out for supper at 6:30 with some friends from out of town. Other than that I've got nothing I have to do :D Yay!

Jayne, I'm so glad to hear that the baby is progressing well. Wonderful news!

Jes, wow big dilemma. If you went for this new job but didn't like it would you be able to go back to your old job? Would you still have to do nights in your new position?

Ali, glad to hear you cat is ok. Sounds like you're already a pro at this new system. Good for you!

Good evening everyone!

I hope it's been a great day for everyone. Well, I went to my weigh-in and meeting last night and am very pleased to report that I was down 4.4 pounds. Mind you, I was two days over my weigh-in date, but heck, I'm not going to coplain.

That put's me at almost 10 pounds under my heaviest weight (which was just a month ago) so I am very pleased.

I love the new plan with the Flex points and am actually doing well at sticking to them. I found that last week I kept and used all my Flexpoints on the weekend, and it wasn't really for junk food and such, it was for more healthier stuff....like roast beef dinner and spaghetti (I consider that healthier than chips and ice cream.) So, I have all my flex points available for this weekend and plan on using them.

I am visiting my sister in Ottawa this weekend...Ali I'm in your neighborhood this weekend. We are going for a late dinner tonight and then who knows what tomorrow holds. We are going to East Side Mario's tonight (my favourite) and I am debating getting the Chicken Tetrazzini...I'm sure it's a million points and I'm doing my best to talk myself out of it, but so far I'm not winning.

Anyways...wish everyone a great weekend.

Ali~glad to hear that the cat is going to be alright. Watch your fingers as you give the cat the pills.

Jess~hope you figure out the job situation first.

Lynn~congrats on the pound. It's another pounds closer to your goal and at least you didn't gain. I would call that a pretty successful week.

Jayne~again, congratulations on the baby. Glad to hear that everything is going so well. I wish you luck.

SkinnyBride~I'm fairly new here too, but everyone is so nice and friendly, definitely a great place to be. At least you are getting an early start on losing weight before your wedding. I am also getting married and trying to shed some weight (80 pounds to be exact) before my wedding next September. Keiri (I can't remember how to spell it...sorry) is also getting married soon, but I'm not sure exactly when. You are in good company here, that's for sure.

Anyways...I guess that's it for me. I'm going to go shower and get ready for dinner and try on my jeans (which I can now get on and do up, they just aren't comfortable yet) for inspiration not to overeat tonight and to make healthy and smart choice. I think I can do it...I'll report tomorrow, but wish me luck (or willpower as the case may be.)
