We can and will ALL get closer to our goals AND hit them together
I am fighting gluttony still a little bit, but today was much better!
Tomorrow I am planning on having a very good food day and hopefully calculate 10,000 steps. It is my Gran's 75th Birthday on Sunday and she always has thrown a little party with some food. She usually has chilli which is always a great option for me, little bit of rice and some chilli, maybe some salad. Then I let myself have a little chocolate tread of ill end up stuffing my face with it. My sister has made her an amazing cake, so that might be my treat . I plan on setting up mine and my mums gym membership asap, which will allow for me to break into 2017 with a bang!
I would really like to get to 273 by the time I go to London at the end of the month for my Birthday, so I need to work super hard to get on it!
Ready to join!
Thank you for starting this thread.
My plan is to check in and share my eating habits and exercise, offer and look for support.
I have tried and failed before but don't consider myself a failure. I am back and focused on improving my health and self image.
Will check in on the 1st. Best of luck everybody!

I will join in on this thread, as well! I like these daily check-in threads and have found that they have been my greatest accountability motivators in the past. I will just use one of my old "templates" I use to use, and I will get my start weight in the morning and use that as my beginning weight, because I will be out of town for the weekend. I figured it's only one day's difference, so as long as I don't go completely crazy for New Years, it should be fine...lol. I'm hoping that I can shed 10 lbs this month since it is my first month back on 3FC, but we shall see.

I love your template! Can I adopt it?
I am new here but I do agree about visiting here every day. I'll try to do so every morning before the day starts to give me that extra boost.
By the 1st of March I want to weigh in at......... 265
I am currently as of this morning 283.4 (3.5 of that being holiday weight)
So as of today I want to lose 18.4 lbs to get back on track and where I should be when I decided to lose 1lb a week. So that is 2.3 lbs loss per week until March.
Hopefully with my new membership, it means that I can work hard and burn 7,000 calories through workouts a week

Alright, I got my beginning weight this morning at 294.6, and edited my main post to reflect that. Hoping to get down to 284.6 by the end of this month. Going out of town today and tomorrow, so I'll be back Monday! Hope everyone has a HappyNewYear!

Hi guys, I'm looking for a daily check-in home, and your opening post is colorful so I'm intrigued
My biggest obstacle has always been my diet, and I came a long way in 2016 but I've lost some control recently and would really like to spend some time getting out of the junk food binge habit. Thats primary, secondary goal is to return to clean eating and meal prepping which I believe will go sort of hand in hand with killing the other habit. I'm usually very all or nothing about my approaches..
Exercise should be pretty easy for me but my goal is 5-6 days a week at the gym and to incorporate real, heavy strength training 3 days. It's time to change up my routine and put some real muscle on this body!
I look forward to a fresh start and maybe some new friends as well!
I have no idea where my weight currently sits (My low was 282.8), as I've had family in and haven't had my routine schedule in place. They leave tomorrow, and then it's back to business!
My goal is 275 for January, with an ambitious goal of 270.
P.S. OpheliaPhoenix - I also love your template, and would love to use it, if you don't mind.

Sure! I like being able to break my progress down into weeks, so I can focus on smaller victories and then see how the big picture came together at each month's end. It has helped keep me on track in the past, so I don't mind who else does it...hopefully it can help others out, too!
Im here again!!! Did a bit of fasting from 10pm last night to 1pm today. I broke the fast in church today with chiobani yogurt and a vitamalt which was horrible (Calories: 221, Fat: 0.1g, Carbs: 53g, Protein: 2g.)
Im just planing a light dinner with a spinach and strawberry salad and salmon. I haven't decided whether I would exercise today or not... but I think I should given my bad start.
Happy New Year! May it be an even better year than 2016 for everyone!
Thank you Rennie for starting this thread again.
After celebrating New Year's Eve with my favourite foods, time to take better care of myself. I have lost sight of myself in the last few months and it resulted in gaining back more half of what I had lost. Hubby as well as gained, so we're in this together.
Renny, thanks so much for kicking off our new thread. I always appreciate that you never forget us. It's great to see old and new friends. You've found a great thread that is full of really supportive folks.
This year I've decided to stop talking about getting back to running and actually do something about it. I've entered a couple of local races with a friend who has her own fitness goals. We both used to be avid runners. Our first race is a 5K on February 12 and a 7K (4.35 miles) race on March 4. I do a lot of walking so the the actual distance isn't intimidating. Thinking about whether I can run without walking them is another story. Working my way to finding a happy medium which may be the run/walk method. I know that sounds like a no-brainer but I've always been in the camp of no walking. I know that's ridiculous and potentially unhealthy so I'm slowly changing my attitude on this.
@Martine: I could have written your post. I'm back to 209.8 when right before Christmas I was at 206. Yep, time to begin again.
For all of us may 2017 be a new year, new you kind of year!

Ooof. Assessed the damage of my week of less than stellar choices that included pizza, fried foods, cookies, candies, and booze... And I am up 3.6 pounds.
Not too awful, I suppose, because it's very likely a lot of water. I have come home from vacation with a 7 pound water retention bump, so I'm not gonna stress this too hard, considering how much stuff I consumed that generally leads to me retaining water (take out/restaurant food, alcohol, sweets late at night). Back on the wagon today and I will be getting a Fitbit Charge 2, and some good running shoes at the end of the week. I'm super excited about this! 5k training starts in earnest here soon, and I am ready!
