Salads and Sides - bbq side dish

Any suggestions for a nice point-friendly salad or side dish for family bbq??? Something a little fancy or different would be nice.

I like to buy the tri-colored pasta (cook it and drain it) then add some slivered carrots, sliced tomatoes, broccoli, sliced black olives, some onion and a low fat Italian dressing. Just before serving top it off with some grated Parmasan cheese. It's very good!
