Is there room for another fat chick?
I am new to the forum let me tell you a little bit about myself! I have been battling with my weight all my life. I am American, I was born with a heart defect so that didn't help things, then of course as a child does I was worried if I over pushed something bad was going to happen so I harped on my heart even though I was told I was fine until I was told I had to have open heart surgery at the age of 16. I was put on a strict diet after my surgery due to some complications so I lost quite a bit of weight, was in the best shape of my life. I then made the mistake of going back to my old eating habits, lots of fast food, chocolate, crisps, fatty foods that i hadn't been eating over the year before when I had lost over 100 pounds. Things have only gotten worse over the years, i have a real problem with my sweet tooth, also my serving sizes need some work. I moved over here to the UK 6.5 years ago, my diet has changed, I eat a lot more fruit and veg but my serving sizes still need work and I unfortunately have found chocolate that I do like. I have lost weight yo-yoing over the last few years since having my daughter, I need to loose this weight, for my health and for myself.
I also am looking for some advice, I want to start slowly running when my daughter goes back to school in September but I need to find a way to carry my keys, mobile, and water with me. Hubby did suggest a rucksack with another strap that goes around the waist but I wanted someone else'se opinion. I'm desperate to loose this weight and to keep it off, I want to play with my daughter and not get tired so much like i do now.
